 -- Vaughn Faeles --Vaughn stood in front of Aris, though only a short distance. He waved a floppy sleeve to her. He actually just appeared, in somewhat of a split second, his entrance not even seen. "Hey! Guess your my opponent! Hope you can be patient with me... It's been a fair bit since my last fight... But anyone less wouldn't have been up to my standards..."O.O.C: Gotchya.

★The Dark Star★ Aris blinked as she heard the voice, looking around. "Well it's okay I didn't have to wait too..." she stopped as she looked down and saw him. She was silent for a moment. "It's a KITTY CAT!" She cried, rushing up and sliding forward on her knees until she was right in front of him. "What are you doing here Mr. Kitty? Are you really gonna be my opponent? Don't worry I'll be patient with you okay??"

-- Vaughn Faeles --Vaughn's pupil tightened, watching Aris approach. She was a fast one. Good, she'll need to be. "I'm trying to keep my skills sharp, so I'll really need you to test me today, okay?" He pulled back his hood, allowing his fluffy ears to pop out. They twitched, his eye relaxing again into a cuter state, giving the cute kitty look. "Do you want to pet my head? It's okay, most people want to when they first see me. Good to get it out of the way now." O.O.C:

★The Dark Star★ Aris squealed before grabbing Vaughn and hugging him tightly, burying her face in the top of his head as she snuggled him. "I will I'll really really test you I promise!" She told him, hugging him tightly before letting him go. She took a deep breath before standing up again. "Okay! I think I'm okay! For now. I think." She stepped backwards, her friendly yet somehow disturbing grin returning as the thought of fighting filled her mind. "But if I win, you have to let me hug what's left of you again!" She drew her katana, the sword letting loose strange dark sparks as it slid free of the sheath. "I'll let you make the first move since that's what I always do!" She told him, sounding like a little kid who was getting ready to play their favorite game at recess.

-- Vaughn Faeles --Glad he was able to just enjoy this slight moment with her, Vaughn's smile retreated as he heard her sink into her dementia. Lord Death approved her appearance here, but... It seemed she had a sense of madness about her. And that weapon. Clearly caution was needed. "Awaken, Mitsuyoshi..." He drew his blade, his wavelength swelling just by grabbing the hilt, his slant pupil tightening to a point, gold sparks flew in a contrasting manner to the blade his opponent drew.. Moving into her range would be a mistake, even though her range was fully unknown. It would be better to make her move and see how she would retaliate. "Win or not, I'm okay with that!" He sunk his blade into the ground, then slashed forward without moving, a gash of air leaving his blade from powerful strike, carving the earth as it went towards her. O.O.C:

★The Dark Star★ Aris prepared herself as Vaughn accepted her request, drawing his blade as well. Aris could tell his change in strength as he did so and her smile widened. Maybe this cat would actually be a fun battle. His wavelength had seemed so low at the beginning, but doing something as simple as drawing his blade had quickly changed that. It was apparent that his wavelength wasn't low because he was truly that weak; it was low because he chose to keep it that way. "Okay!" she replied when he told her he would be okay with her hugging him after the battle. As soon as Vaughn sunk his blade into the ground, Aris raised hers. Just because it wasn't pointed towards her didn't mean an attack couldn't come from it. When Vaughn released his blast of wavelength, Aris quickly rushed forward and straight towards the gash. Just before she collided with the attack, she jumped a few feet into the air and swung her katana in a full circle, slashing the wave of energy clean in half allowing her to sail right through the now-clear middle. She landed on the other side and rushed forward. Much like she had slide towards Vaughn when she had first seen him, she fell to her knees, allowing the momentum of her sprint and attack to continue moving her forward. As soon as she was within blade's reach she slashed out towards him horizontally, attempting to cut him straight across the middle of his body.

-- Vaughn Faeles --His actions were peaceful, tranquil. A unfathomable calm control that couldn't be explained. Using his tails as a launch-board, he popped up and stabbed his blade into the top of Aris' sword whilst maintaining momentum, pushing her sword deep into the ground. Vaughn landed a good distance away, continuing pushing ranged strikes at her whilst her blade was jammed into the ground. O.O.C:

Meister:Magnus ━━━━━━♕━━━━━━ ....let me purify this world and my sister... Kiki changes back into her regular form as Death stops Aris' blow to her. Had she just lost a fight? Kiki grits her teeth as Death begins sinking into the ground. So that's Lord Death, huh? Tch! One day I'll kill her and take him down a few notches...I'll make sure that pink girl dies by my hand. Kiki looks back at Magnus and looks at him. She stands up and throws him over her shoulder and exits the place allowing the arena to be open for the next fight. Once out of that arena Kiki gently sets Magnus down and against the wall. "We'll get her next time," she says in a serious tone with her head looking down causing her eyes and the top half of her face to be covered by a shadow created by her white bangs that now have blood on them. "Transfer: Error: 084," says Kiki as she raises her right hand and places it on Magnus' chest in hope that the move allows her to restore his health. "I'll make sure we bath in her blood. She'll die by my hands as well as anyone who gets in the way," she says gritting her teeth. A small growl can be heard from the back of her throat. Kiki is pissed. She's never lost a battle and, thus, feels humility and shame from losing this battle with Aris. ((OOC: Okie Dokie ^.^ Kiki's going to be a little mad btw so Magnus might want to watch out XD Kiki's the type of girl people don't want to be around when she's mad.))) .....in my own way. ★The Dark Star★ Aris slid to a halt suddenly as her sword was pushed into the ground and she was forced to stop. She yanked her katana free of the ground and spun to face Vaughn in time to be hit by the first of his strikes, causing her to stumble backwards. Whatever dexterity she used to stop from flying backwards was lost as the second blow hit, lifting her off the ground and pushing her backwards further until she landed on her back. She quickly pushed off the ground with her hands and threw herself out of the way before the third strike hit her. "Wooow you have some way cool long-ranged attacks! How did you learn those?" Suddenly she pushed off the ground and straight towards Vaughn, almost instantaneously she was in front of Vaughn, already in mid-slash with her katana in an attack that was aimed diagonally upwards to try and slash across his mid-section from right stomach to left shoulder.

-- Vaughn Faeles --Vaughn pulled his hilt with his second sword still inside, crossing his currently out blade across it, stopping her attack and forcing her sword to the ground again, this time his blades holding it in. It gave him a good chance to speak, if anything. "I met a master of the sword, cursed with secret techniques that kept him immortal. He passed them onto me; if only to allow himself to die. He was a kishin, who died by my partner me through advanced combat. There is many more skills you haven't seen yet, but I would assume that would be my same situation with you." Vaughn pushed back with his sword-hilt scissors, taking note how even though she had taken a hit she was still unshaken. He flew back, landing on the wall of the arena. He stuck to it, like a spider, and without notice it crumbled into segments behind him, sparks flying across them as if Vaughn was doing it himself, though he was seemingly propped on their crumbling form. "Get ready for this one!" As the large stone segmented walls fell with Vaugh hanging off of one in particular, he launched off his descending perch and swung his blade forward, not even coming close to Aris himself. However, as if reacting to the swing, the boulders behind him lashed forwards suddenly, all of them heading right for Aris at high speeds. "Technique: Gaia's wind!" O.O.C:

When Kiki transfered some of her strength to him he took a moment to catch his breath before standing up. "Don't hate her Kiki," he told her, brushing his bangs out of his eyes. "It'll cloud your judgment. Make you lose focus on what's important." He gave her a slight smile. "Besides, neither of us bowed to her. We still kept our promise." He seemed serene despite the beating they had just taken and the pain he was still clearly in. "We need to get to the nurse," he told her. "You've taken some damage."❂ But first he must rule in heart and in mind ❂

★The Dark Star★ Aris yanked her blade out much faster than last time, turning to face Vaughn as he landed against the wall. "That doesn't sound like a curse it sounds like fun!" When he told her to get ready, Aris raised her blade. "Ready when you are!" She informed him. When chunks of the wall exploded towards her, Aris grinned and raised her blade in the air. "Shimmer!" She yelled just as the chunks reached her. Suddenly her form began to blur and shift, becoming transparent and hard to pinpoint. As the rocks reached her they flew straight through her as if she wasn't even there, smashing into the ground behind her as she faded back to normal. "Was that ready enough for ya!?" She asked him as he raised her blade. In a blur of moment she was in front of him again, her crazed smile almost filling his view. "Thousand Blade!" She called as her katana glowed bright pink. All of a sudden she swung at him, but this time the swing was at super-sonic speed and it was followed immediately by a second, third, fourth, countless swings lashed forward at Vaughn in a blur of motion so fast they were impossible to follow essentially putting Vaughn in a meat-grinder.

"I'll be fine, you, on the other hand, have taken much more damage," she says as she begins to walk off. "Let's go get you healed up."

-- Vaughn Faeles --Vaughn watched carefully. The point of him putting forward ranged attacks so much was to coax her abilities out, and she was fulfilling that. Her immediate arrival was expected, Vaughn having sheathed his blade on his back by the time she popped in, her single second strikes being handled calmly. He slid every blow past himself, touching the side of her pink blade with his palms at high speed, guiding it past him several times. His red eye looked directly at her, glowing as Vaughn smiled. "That is good. You're making me get pushed into second gear, Aris. At this rate, I may have to draw the other sword. This is part Jeet Kune Do, by the way. Be like water." At her last blow, Vaughn grabbed the hilt underneath her hand, perfectly timing as a boulder landed right behind her. He jumped forward, making her lean back and dig her blade directly into the cemented stone behind her. Vaughn then lightly jumped off her stomach, flying another fair distance away before he drew one sword again. "Ah... This sparring is too similar to my days as a hunter... You're a bloodthirsty one, aren't you?" O.O.C:
