Lucas frowned once more when Alastor didn't fight him on getting out of the pool instead just made a comment about how it would enhance his muscles before leaving. Allowing himself to sink back down to the bottom to think he sat there for a good amount of time before breaking the surface once more and getting out. He dressed again in his clothes not knowing where to find a towel and made his way to the gym.

Alastor was already working with the bench press, lifting three hundred pounds of metal off his body repeatedly, hardly noticing that someone had entered the gym as he placed the weight on the holder. Alastor stood up to stretch a little before he took a drink of his water bottle, pushing back his wet hair. Once he finished his drink, Alastor took the towel he used from the pool and soaked up the sweat on his chest before he saw Lucas. "You don't playing in the pool?"

Lucas stood watching Alastor as the man bench pressed the weights. The human was quite impressed but also realized quickly how much stronger the man was than him. When the man finally noticed him and asked if he was done playing in the pool he nodded. "Yeah..." he added.

Alastor nodded and took another drink before setting his water bottle down. "Find a place to stretch. I don't want you to get hurt during your exercises." he said softly as he returned to the bench press once more. "When you've finished stretching try doing a few exercises with some weights until I'm ready to start your tai chi lesson."

Lucas nodded when Alastor told him to find a place to stretch. The boy moved to an open space and sat down stretching out. When he figured he had done enough he moved over to the weights and looked at them. They felt daunting seeing as he knew he couldn't lift anywhere near what Alastor had.

Alastor worked with the boy once he was finished lifting his weights. Tai Chi was a relatively low energy work out but it requires a lot of focus. The boy was nowhere near ready to spar with anyone, but with more training Lucas could defend himself easily. Once the workout was over, Alastor placed the towel over his shoulder once more and gave a soft sigh. "That's it for the day. I'm going to swim a little more before ending my day. Feel free to go back to your room or eat something." Alastor said, basically ignoring Lucas as he made his way to the pool once more. If he saw the boy again he was sure he wouldn't be able to control himself.

Lucas worked with Alastor when the man had finished lifting his weights. To say the boy had been surprised about Tai Chi was an understatement. He had expected something far more strenuous but when he discovered it was more focus driven he relaxed a bit and took more quickly to the lessons Alastor gave him. He was a bit surprised when they finished only feeling a bit tired where he had expected to be exhausted. Nodding when Alastor said he was going to swim a bit before retiring, Lucas made his way back towards the kitchen grabbing something to eat before retreating to his room to shower.

Alastor gave a soft sigh when Lucas left, it was almost like the boy couldn't wait to get away from him. Though he couldn't blame Lucas, really. Alastor had abused, beaten, and practically raped him but he thought his kindness would have paid off by now. He couldn't understand why he couldn't calm down enough to gain the poor boy's trust. Alastor shook the thoughts out of his head and dove back into the pool after taking off his sweatpants.

Lucas had finished showering and entered his room preparing to eat the food he had collected when he stopped. Alastor had gone swimming instead of eating something. He knew the man ate real food and not just the stuff he stole from living beings. Making a decision he grabbed his food and headed back to the kitchen where he grabbed a second plate and headed back to the pool. "I brought you some food." Lucas stated when he found Alastor.

Alastor had come up for air on his fifth lap when he saw the boy with a plate of hot food. He did feel a little hungry but he was so focused on getting his frustrations out in the water. Alastor climbed out and wrapped a towel around his bare hips, staring down at Lucas for a moment or two as he began to wonder why the boy was bringing him food when Alastor was sure Lucas didn't like him in the least. He raised his hand in front of Lucas and thought about grabbing him, but knowing the boy, that wouldn't be the best course of action. Alastor forced a small grin and gently rubbed the top of the boy's head. "Thank you." he said softly, taking the plate and sitting at one of the lawn chairs to eat. "Would you like to share?" he asked curiously, holding a fork full out for Lucas to take a bite.

Lucas looked away when Alastor exitted the pool until the man had wrapped a towel around his waist. He did it out of modesty for the man not out of embarassment. Looking back to the man as he approached, he watched the hand raised toward him warily but didn't flinch away even when it settled on his head. He gave a soft smile when the man merely rubbed the top of his head and thanked him. When Alastor had taken the food and walked to a lawn chair Lucas stood awkwardly unsure of what he should do until the man offered to share with him. Giving another smile he walked forward, "okay." he chirped taking the bite.

Alastor watched Lucas take the bite from his fork and smirked a little, the boy looked quite cute when he was being fed. "You have good taste in food." he said softly, alternating between feeding Lucas and eating himself. After a few minutes Alastor moved back a little and spread his legs, patting the spot in front of him for Lucas to sit. "I won't bite."

"I had to cook for my self for a long while." Lucas explained when Alastor stated that he had good taste in food. He continued to take food as it was offered to him. "You know you are not so bad when your other side isn't out." Lucas stated moving to the spot gestured to.

Alastor shook his head, but was glad to see Lucas take his offer for the seat. "It's not a 'side'. My eyes turn red when I feel extreme pleasure....or anger. It's happened ever since I was a child." he said softly, giving Lucas the rest of the plate as he'd had enough. "It's a lot more difficult to suppress my anger, but even I didn't like the marks I was placing on you. My original mate was able to take pain much better than you." He stated as he leaned back against the reclined lawn chair.

Lucas frowned when Alastor stated that the other side wasn't another side and that it had happened since he was young. Hearing that the man didn't like the marks he had placed on Lucas made the boy a bit relieved. "Did your mate know what you were and like you before you two became mates?" Lucas questioned curiously. He wanted to know if Alastor just randomly kidnapped people he liked or wanted. He wanted to know if he came to like the man if he would be replaced.
