Emma watched the figure as she waited for an answer before sighing "You don't know either then? Yeah... this place is big so I don't blame you." she said as she walked away "I'll let you know if I find anything then." she told it as she managed to find the stairs and walked down them. Her ears swiveled as she kept her guard up since she was still unsure about the figure.

Never Again... As Emma walked past the creature and down the stairs, it began to follow her, always keeping several steps behind her. It didn't seem to make a sound as it moved nor did it say a word. Emma passed two more of the same creatures as she went down the stairs though they didn't make a move to follow her as the first one was doing. Will I be bound in chains

Emma saw the figures similar to the first one but decided not to talk to them since food was kind of the main thing on her mind at the moment. She glanced back as she saw the first one she talked to was following he "Uh... Are you hungry too?" she asked even though she knew it may not answer her. She looked froward again and stopped, deciding to smell the air for a moment before walking down another hall. "This place is even bigger than I thought..." she muttered as she looked around. She did a double take when she saw a entrance to what looked like the kitchen. She grinned and quickly walked in. "Yeah! Found it!" she stated excitedly.

Never Again...As Emma walked into the kitchen she would see it was connected to a dining room instead of a massive banquet hall like a castle usually had. This one had two chairs and was a moderately sized table. Herald wasn't kidding when he said he preferred that no one else find this realm. In the kitchen stood four more of the beings as silent as the first. None of them moved as Emma entered the room, the first creature still trailing behind her. The kitchen was fairly large, clearly prepared to make all kinds of food at a moment's notice. Will I be bound in chains

Emma's ears twitched again as she saw the other beings in the kitchen with her and the first one she found "Yay... you have friends..." she said with a laugh before looking around. "Uh... If you guys want food too... all I really know how to make is eggs and bacon breakfast wise so if you want something else you will have to make it yourselves." she told them as she began looking through cupboards and finding a large pan. She walked towards the stove and looked at it for a few moments "Wow... even stoves have gotten a lot more fancy in the future..." she muttered as she managed to turn it on and place the pan on top of the flame. She looked around before walking across the kitchen to the fridge, opening it and looking around before pulling out some raw bacon and eggs. While walking back over to the stove she glanced around at the figures "Uh... last call... any of you want anything I am making?" she asked with a polite smile on her face. She really didn't know how to take these things.

Never Again...As Emma placed the raw eggs and bacon on the table, two of the creatures moved forward, moving her out of the way with their body mass. One of them started cooking the eggs and the other started cooking the bacon, doing so methodically and without sound as if they had known how to do so their entire lives. The other two stood in front of Emma, not saying anything or moving. Will I be bound in chains

Emma jumped slightly as the figures moved in front of her and began cooking for her. She watched with a mix of amazement and slight shock on her face. "Uh... Merci..." she said, accidentally thanking them in french as she watched the two figures cook. She glanced at the other two as well.

Never Again...The other two figures stared at Emma silently the entire time as the first two finished the eggs and bacon, putting some onto a plate and standing in front of Emma, holding it out to her. Will I be bound in chains

Emma stared at the plate for a moment or so before taking it and smiling towards the two that made the food "Thank you very much." she said before looking towards the dining room. She walked over with the plate, quickly grabbing a fork and sitting down at the table. She looked around for a few moments before looking down at the good. She cut off a piece of the eggs and tried it.

Never Again...One of the creatures came out and stood behind Emma silently as she ate. The rest stayed in the kitchen, putting everything away and cleaning it. The food was all expertly made; the creatures definitely knew what they were doing. Will I be bound in chains

Emma continued eating quietly, basically speechless due to the food. She hadn't had anything so good before and that was just eggs and bacon which was probably some of the simplest things you could make. As she continued eating, she thought over how amazing this entire place was, and that was because of Herald. She knew most of the realm looked the way it did because Herald made it that way for her. She smiled slightly for a few moments before a look of frustration came across her face for a split second. She really wanted to do something for him in return then. She didn't know what though. She frowned again as she bit down on the last piece of bacon on her plate and quickly finished it. After finishing her food the looked up at the figure behind her "Thank you very much for the food, it was very delicious. Tell the others that too..." she said as she stood up and grabbed the plate and silverware. She wasn't sure if the figure would let her take her own plate back to the kitchen for it to be washed.

Never Again...As Emma grabbed the plate, the creature took it from her hands and floated off to the kitchen. Just as it disappeared through the door, Herald walked into the kitchen, yawning and scratching the back of his head. "I knew I smelled something," he said as he leaned against the door frame. "So you found your way through the castle okay."Will I be bound in chains

Never Again...Herald nodded approvingly before he sat down in the other chair, resting his elbow on the table and his head in his hand. "You must have a good sense of direction." He hadn't made the castle a maze. In fact, he had tried to keep it as simple as possible. But still it could be difficult to find ones way around due simply to its size. Will I be bound in chains

"Yes, and using my nose couldn't hurt either." Emma told him before another small laugh escaped her lips. "So uh... did you sleep a bit better?" she asked him.
