She was raised as a noble in a peasant's life, leading to a lot of conflict as to what she should be like, as she didn't like the strict ruling of her parents. The young female then, at the age of eight, immigrated with her parents to Otogakure; a land much much different than what she was used to. Snow banks and ice were replaced with swamps and mud, and it took her a long time to get used to the vastly contrasting surroundings. Of course, Sonyo entered the academy as soon as her parents arrived in the new village, as that was the reason they had moved in the first place; so that she could "become a strong and respectable ninja" instead of the failure her parents saw her as.
Sonyo did much better at fighting than at the smaller tasks her parents had her work on since she could remember; she was better at molding ice than she was at sewing clothes, and she was better at kicking than she ever was at dancing. Of course, however, her parents continued to push on her the small tasks she had been doing previously. The young child began becoming over stressed and started to become bitter towards her parents and the world she lived in. However, when Sonyo turned 13, she met a girl who soon became one of her closest friends. The girl's name was Kinu, and she was the only person Sonyo knew to date that had the braveness to push through the blizzard that surrounded her heart. Kinu taught Sonyo patience and kindness; she taught Sonyo how to deal with anger and frustration and pain. However, later on that year, Kinu disappeared suddenly. She was never found, nor did there seem to be any rush to find the girl. It took a lot of strength, but Sonyo let it go, knowing full well that's what Kinu would have wanted her to do.
A few years later, Sonyo graduated from the academy and became an official ninja of the hidden sound village. She vowed to herself that she would work her hardest, for both her parents, and her best friend who couldn't work beside her.

Sonyo trained hard in preperation for her first real mission that would be given to her. She was instructed by Sgt. Justice Skelly to find the Village's Master Seamstress, who had gone missing. Early on, Sonyo was crippled by the idea that she might be too late and the female might already be dead. The female shinobi followed the trail given in the ransom note, only to happen upon the old abandoned building in the village; the only of its kind. It was here that Sonyo found not only a breathing Lady Yura, but also an operation going on under the village, invisible to those who never happened under the city. Sonyo knew her life would never be the same knowing this; her innocence to the village's inter-workings and what was going on was now shattered.. and she had a piece of knowledge that could get her killed.
After that things only got worse for Sonyo, she had a hard time going out when suspicions began to rise about what she did that day. Someone saw her, that's for sure. Soon UHV soldiers began pestering her, asking her questions. She was absolutely terrified that she would die... so she did the only thing she could do. She got her parents out of the city and then left on foot a few weeks later, alongside her best friend Elizabeth. The two parted ways at the suna gates after having a brief confrontation with a Village ANBU. Sonyo was left to live in the village alone while Elizabeth became a rogue. The trip to Sunagakure was relatively easy, that is in till they actually arrived at the village. Masahiro Hatake saw Elizabeth in the distance, taking measures to protect Sonyo should she be attacked, and it backfired. Assuming that the two were somehow connected to the UHV, Masahiro took defensive actions only to find out that one of the young females was seeking asylum while the other was only worried about her friend. After Masahiro promised to take Sonyo to the Kazekage, Elizabeth set off to begin her life as a rouge.
Sonyo then met Ayame, who appointed Nariomi Kaguya as her guide and mentor in till her probationary period was finished. Nari carefully guided and helped Sonyo to adjust to life in Sunagakure, even going so far as to allow the female to stay with him in his home as she was homeless upon arriving. The two spent time together and the young female couldn't stop from falling in love with him. However, after shortly confessing their feelings for eachother, Nari disappeared as he was sent of to some outerlying land for a mission. To try her best to keep her mind off the disappearance of the person she loved, Sonyo filled her days with missions and training. During this training, Sonyo met many more people, including her new sensei Theodin and the Community-Minded Woman, Bastet. After a mission to Takumi to get supplies for the mysterious woman's workshop, Sonyo became an apprentice under the woman for various artist pursuits. It was soon after this that Nari finally returned, and Soyno felt herself finally be at peace.
That peace did not last long, as the seven-tailed beast Chomei was released upon Sunagakure. Sonyo and Nari split away from Bast to go and try to save as many people as possible. However, they were only able to evacuate the residential district before Sonyo was stabbed in the back by a young girl who she was treating. Upon hearing her injured scream, Nari too stopped evacuating citizens to rush Sonyo to the hospital. Here she was treated by another one of the Medical Shinobi of the village, Doc Nara. Despite his best efforts, Sonyo fell prey to the poison that had coated the knife that stabbed her and exploded in to a rampage. She not only destroyed a good part of the bunker but also injured a few people who were currently in the hospital before the doctors could evacuate. After a brief fight with Doc and a new arrival Manny Hyuuga, a woman by the name of Kaori stopped the attack and finally broke the trance that Sonyo had found herself in. The young female didn't take her actions well, and fell in to a small pit of depression and disappointment.
Due to the mass of death to the village, the Kazekage threw a party meant for everyone. There was an announcement: relaxation and jolly-making were mandatory. Several of the villagers became drunk out of their mind, and fun was had all around. It was durring this party that Nari proposed to Sonyo, and she said yes. After all she had done for the village during the Choumei attack and everything she did for the village afterwards, Sonyo was also granted her Chuunin rank and thus the young woman left the village for the first time in search for her parents.

Sonyo traveled for several days alone, making her way through unknown territory, chasing the trail of her parents. Wherever she went, she helped the people she came across no matter what that meant. She healed the injured and the sick, she got rid of small issues and gave guidance to the people who needed it. Traveling became lonely, scary, and most of all bittersweet; she missed her home and her family in Sunagakure, and the more time she spent away from them the more it hurt her. Eventually Sonyo made it to the small fishing village in Amegakure where her parents had settled down, only to find it obliterated. Death was everywhere, and the villagers that had survived were in mourning. No houses stood, farmlands were burnt to the ground, and mass graveyards were everywhere. Panic rose further in Sonyo as she was unable to find her parents, and eventually her worst fears were confirmed. At the edge of the last graveyard sat a dual grave for her parents.
The chuunin felt rage like she had never felt before, a need for vengeance pumping through her veins. It clawed and ripped her up inside like a caged beast, and right when she was about to give in to it all she remembered home. She remembered her fiance and her kage and what they would think of her if they had heard what she wanted to do. And so, with a heavy heart and uncertainties bouncing around in her head, Sonyo made her way back to Sunagakure. She didn't sleep, she didn't stop; she feared if she strayed off the path leading to home she'd do something she'd regret. She made it back home in record time, only to find that her home had all but been ruined by the attack by Chomei even though the battle was long past. Several of her friends and mentors were gone, and Sonyo found herself deep in a pit of depression, still searching for answers.
Sonyo spent some time in a limbo-like state, not making bonds with other people, getting and dropping several students, and generally trying to find herself. She was angry at her weakness, at her inability to save anyone she loved. Eventually a tournament for the gennin in village was held, something for them to do for fun and also a way for them to gain experience. It was durring this time that James returned, relieving some of the burden off of Sonyo. It was durring this Tournament that Sonyo met a little boy named Taylor, and began to bond with the kid. She felt a strong instinct to protect the little kid, and it didn't waver even when Knives walked out in to the field during the final fight and exploded-- releasing the bijuu within him, Shukaku. The fight that ensued was quick, and no lives were lost, but the beast was sealed in Sonyo. Taka, the hokage, who had arrived to give aid to Suna during the fight, married Sonyo and Nari though a handfast like ritual before vowing to keep Sonyo sane and safe. During the fight, Sonyo had met a young Uchiha Jashinist named Kya who she found herself taking an instant interest in. The Konoha shinobi left, and Sonyo was left with worries about what would come.

Soon after Sungakure was scattered, Sonyo went MIA, mostly morning the loss of her husband. She did not contact anyone about her whereabouts, not even her kage, and took some time to collect herself and get more comfortable with the ichibi, Shukaku. She left her adopted son Taylor, who was on his way to the new Land of Lightning, despite the child's protests. After a time of wandering, helping when and where she could, she heard of where her dear friend Kya had ended up, and decided it was time to go back to the world of the shinobi. She made her way to the gates of Uzshio, brandishing an old letter from Sanae, hoping it would get her in to the village

Sonyo gripped her fists, staring up at Shukaku with a fire in her eyes. "Shut up, Shukaku. I'm doing what I have to do! For the people!"
"No, you're doing it for yourself." Shukaku frowned back, or whatever a mass of sand could do as a frown. "You hate yourself, you hate your failures, and in till you fix yourself you will never probably be able to heal others. We've been together a long time, child. I know you."
Sonyo looked away, ashamed, upset. This... homicidal thing was reading her like a book, flipping through her pages. But he was right, he was completely right but she couldn't do anything about it, she wasn't strong enough. How could she expect herself to be able to help others when she couldn't even help herself. Anger flared inside her, and outside of her mental world-- in the real world --sand covered in a thin layer of ice began to float around her.
"Shut the hell up Shu."
"No."
Sonyo's hands balled harder in to fists, her nails digging in to the meaty parts of her palms. "Please shut up! I know I'm screwed, I know I'm broken! Shut up, shut up, shut-!"
"I'm not against you kid. I'm doing this to help you." Sonyo stood there, shocked for a second, her head snapping up to meet Shukaku face to face again. The young woman blinked a few times, slowly, in confusion.
"Giant murderous sand tanuki says what?" Shukaku let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head.
"Being with you these years, you've changed me. Knives was different, he cultivated the bloodthirst inside me, let it run free but you... you've taught me restraint. Which, in all honesty, is never a word that you should use to describe me."
Sonyo was quiet for a moment before she was pulled from her mental plain by the feeling of someone looking up at her. The young woman slowly opened her eyes to see a VORTEX operative in front of her, causing her to raise an eyebrow in confusion. She was so distracted at the new arrival she didn't notice the three little piles of sand in a circle around her. "Can I help you?"
The Vortex member crossed their arms, seeming weary. "Lady Uzukage Chie has requested your presence in the office."
"Chie, huh?" Looking down, Sonyo thought for a moment. Chie was that woman at the office before correct? What happened to Sanae? Was everything okay. Sonyo lifted herself to her feet and made her way again towards the office.
Hazards can usually only be made by crafting in either the Pharmaceutical or Toxin chemist classes, or by happening upon them with botany and mining. A few can be, haphazardly, happened upon with cooking and eating. When gathering, or crafting, one can exchange any rewards afforded with that mission with the hazards below if they're from the right level.

Devil's Trumpet (Datura) ~ Plant-based [ Advance Supply: Botany Kit ] A beautiful, slightly yellow powder. Where it started being created, no one really knows. Hard to come by, and hard to handle.
Bushman's Poison ~ Pharmaceutical [ Advanced Item ] A poison that's not really a poison-- often created by just a few items in the wild, a godsend against snakebites... that is if you don't take too much.
Chokecherry ~ Plant-based [ Advance Supply: Botany kit ] A harmless and tasty treat for humans, but a serious poison for most animals. Many poor pets have met their end due to hungry owners not knowing their plants out in the wild.

• Investor: Channeler ---- Channelers are an odd, outcast sort, more for the spirits they deal with than for any other particular reason. Where a Shaman handles the natural forces of the world, and the Fury handles the dark beasts that haunt the heart of Man, the Channeler instead handles those spirits who remain of the Dead. First and Foremost, a channeler is able to see the dead with little concentration, though the "louder" spirits are more difficult to ignore. Channeling the dead is a slightly easier task than the power of the Shaman, for the dead nearly always wish to touch the realm of flesh again. However, this causes an inverse from the Shaman: the more powerful spirits are the first to respond, often granting great strength for immeasureable risk. When summoning a spirit to fill the shikigami a Channeler generates a number between one and one hundred [1 - 100] to determine the strength of the spirit that inhabits it. [1 - 20] grants an E - ranked spirit. [21 - 35] will summon a C - rank, while [36-55] brings forth a B - rank spirit. A - ranks are summoned at [56 - 75], and the most powerful of spirits are summoned at [76 - 100], as they are S - rank in strength. Generate a number between [1] and [5] to determine which element the spirit manefests as. Almost universally, the Dead tend to cause their bodies to rot and decay, thus causing the base cost of their upkeep being increased by a factor of twenty five percent [1/4]. • •

• Child of Rot: Something foul exists inside Asai, giving her the ability to use the [ Fungal ] plant type on top of her natural [ General ] and [ Poisonous ] plant types. • Queen of the Gone: When channeling spirits in to focuses made of fungal type material, they act a rank higher, but the spirits inside fall to the same fire type weakness regardless of whatever element they have. They also no longer suffer the rotting upkeep. • Rotten Soul: When Poisonous and Fungal types are combined, any Kōjōton act a rank higher and begin to rot away at any other plant life/Kōjōton techniques around. • Ever Evergreen: Asai can cast any Kōjōton jutsu through somatic movements such as hand gestures. • Always There: Asai can naturally hear and see all nearby forces she can summon without focusing. Currently, this is limited to spirits only, but who knows down the road.

Karleen walked along the halls of the institute, taking in all the building had to offer her. It was a massive building with many different things inside-- several training grounds, a library, there was even a marketplace for Kogarashi members in Gimangakure itself. All she could ever need to work her art was here, and it gave her such an internal sense of hope. She could make something here, build things and build a name for herself.
Maybe more, if she was lucky. Maybe she could even build a life here.
Karleen made her way in to the workshop and looked about, searching for what would be her corner.... She found a sufficent spot, then walked over and began re-arraging things to her liking near one of the workbenches. The other workers seemed to not care, and she appreciated their passiveness. She wasn't here to make friends, that was for sure. Though... maybe she would.
Nindo: Personality: Often soft and jovial, Nanami is a stark contrast to her younger siblings who seemed to inherit their father's serious streak. The eldest of the Uzumaki siblings, Nanami is known to joke too much, even when it might not be appropriate. Behind her laid back and happy exterior, the woman holds a lot of worry for her siblings, which seems to subconsciously sculpt how she acts with them and others-- often taking the big sister or motherly role to anyone who seems to remind her of them. Nanami tends to hold the burden of being practically unloved by her step-father, and often times that can lead her to be very sensitive about being unwanted. She's not one to enjoy being ignored or left out of any situation, and can be a little bit of a baby at times when it comes to these situations.
Village: Uzushiogakure Title: Genin
Background:
First born to her mother due to an affair, Nanami fell to high expectations from her newer father when entering the academy. Though only a year older than her twin brothers, she was accustomed to getting all the same stress they had to excel with half of the love to go with it. Regardless of the hardship, Nanami excelled greatly at all of her studies; especially when it came to anything physical, though her parents were delighted to find she wasn't completely useless when it came to ninjutsu either. Her quick schooling and graduation lead the groundwork for all of her siblings, who would have a hard time catching up.
Nanami bouced from team to team after graduation, either clashing with other members because of her personality or having a hard time fitting in with anyone outside her family. When one of the twin brothers-- Lohner --had his accident, she took some time off to make sure the young man would be able to recover. And when she heard that his entire team defected, she took even more time off, setting her far behind her peers and keeping her from continuing with her advancement. Despite not wanting to, and with a lot of pushing from Lohner, Nanami returned to her gennin position after her brother's recovery; despite wanting to keep an eye on him out of worry.

First Class: Bloodline ▱▰▱ Dual Ancestry → Dual Ancestry allows you to have full access to two bloodlines upon creation including all techniques, abilities, and personal attributes associated with them. Your primary bloodline's roster is where your name appears. For biographical purposes, your secondary bloodline may be genetic or implanted at your discretion. The Rinnegan may not be chosen as a secondary bloodline. Combo Element Kekkei Genkai and Jiongu users do not have access to Dual Ancestry nor can they be chosen as a secondary bloodline. Dual Ancestry users do not have access to the implant system including the Genetic Palette personal attribute. Second Class: Medical ▱▰▱ Combat Medic → Shinobi of this discipline gain the ability to pay for their simple taijutsu using chakra. This does not alter its strength in collisions in any way from a standard simple technique. Furthermore medical learning reductions gained from this class, also count towards taijutsu learning reductions and the shinobi gains two tai slots, one at D rank and the other at C rank. Chakra Pool: 275 Stamina Pool: 225 Chakra Element: Fuuton, Raiton Chakra Color: A mixture of purple and red that mixes in the middle Chakra Materialization: Like a hazy smoke that lazily moves around her body. Every once in a while, a streak of electricity will break through the smoke like a storm cloud.
Strengths: • Great physical prowess due to her bloodline • Great mental fortitude when it comes to her siblings • Strong willed • Not one to give up Weaknesses: • Self-conscious about interpersonal relations • Pretty close-range focused • Loyal to her siblings to a fault Fears: • Dying Alone -- Dying somewhere alone, unloved and forgotten, is her biggest fear. Lacking the love of one parent has dented her self-esteem. • Failing her siblings -- Of all the people in the world, Nanami feels she has the biggest responsibility to her siblings. She feels that she always needs to be strong for them, despite what might be going on with her; and to become weak or unreliable in their eyes would be worse than death to her.

Personal Attributes: • Born Geniuses: The Hyuuga members are born able to learn 2 extra taijutsu per post, and are capable of starting with an extra tai style. • Touch of the Boundless: The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm. • Sisterly Love: Due to her strong internal drive to protect her siblings, when around her them in any sort of crisis situation, Nanami's simple taijutsu becomes overwhelming to complex techniques of the same rank, and clashes with spiritual techniques and ninjutsu of the same rank.
