Sathe || Wandering the Fairgrounds with Aminah (post 10)
Sathe giggled at the lady's name for the fish. Popper was a silly name. Not that she would tell the lady that. It might hurt her feelings. She smiled wide at Briella's question. "I did, but I think it was hard for both of us. They're so pretty!"
She watched as Kaalnia looked down at her fish and did the same, holding her fish back up again to look at it from eye view, and then holding it further up to look at the sun through the orb. The fish's shadow circled around on Sathe's face and she giggled more, excited by her newest friend. "Did you want to see Tin?" She asked Briella. Briella didn't have a fish and it would be not nice at all if Sathe didn't offer to share her's for a while. "Big Sister bought it for me. She has two more."

Lasarra Lassara stuck her tongue out at her sister when Kelina teased her. It was true, the job she truly wanted was to be an animal tamer so she worked often with the animals. "Yeah yeah yeah, don't worry I'll stop what I'm doing to beat you up. Isn't that what normal siblings do?" she teased back with a laugh. When Kelina said that Yaholo was meant to use a hammer she nodded. "He surely is. I'll be surprised to find someone more skilled with it." she agreed.
"Yeah?" she asked looking back at her sister. After thinking for a second she realized that she couldn't tame a fish. But that didn't mean that she didn't want one! "Well we will have to go and look at them after I get something in my stomach." she said as she arrived at the food stalls. She quickly bought the same thing her sister had before and then turned around. "Lead the way to these fish!" she proclaimed.

Briella Briella kept looking between Kaalnia and Sathe, trying to make it look normal. She needed to get Kaalnia away to talk to her, however she didn't want to leave Sathe. That was just rude. "And it might have been hard but you did a really good job. I doubt my sister would've been able to do it alone." she said with a smile towards Sathe.
When Sathe offered to show Briella her fish Briella smiled and nodded. "I'd love to see Tin. Do you know what you sister named her two others?" she asked curiously. She didn't want one of the fish for herself, but she did like the names they had picked out.

Kelina grinned at her sister. "I suppose that is what siblings normally do. Bring it on, sis!" She said in mock anger. Of course their practicing would all be for fun and training, but who knew if it would get competitive or not? Kel shook her head at the thought, before nodding in agreement with her sister.
Once Lasarra seemed content after she got her food they would be off to find the fish stall! The only problem was...she couldn't remember exactly where she had seen them. Kel led them to where she thought they were, but she couldn't see them anywhere. "Well I thought...they were here..." She said as she looked around at all the stalls but still not seeing the one she wanted.

Sathe || Wandering the Fairgrounds with Aminah (post 11)
Sathe grinned to Briella. Of course she would love for her to see Tin. She held up the orb with both of her small hands and stood on tiptoes to get it as close to Briella as possible for her to take it.
She smiled even broader when Briella mentioned her Big Sister's fish. "They have the best names! Big Sister is so good at naming things. They're called Bay and Bon!" She nearly yelled out. She was so happy that her sister had such good names for her fish. It made her wish that she had let her help in picking out her own name, but her fish looked like a Tin to her, so she was happy she had picked herself. "She has a moracker named Niro, too!"

[Dyakida: At her stall] Erm... Okay? She felt around for the coin she was sure she had heard chinking down on her counter, trying not to cut herself on the blades. She really needed to do something about her pride. And maybe learn to make sheathes. Her pride, though, was more injurious. She was starting to realize that. She felt the coin for a moment, then put it in her coin purse. "Well..." she said to herself, "I can try." She took out some wood and started feeling through it for a good piece to turn into a slingshot.
She was ashamed to say she had never made a slingshot before. Or, for that matter, fired one. She had seen one briefly and knew what they were, but... "... Maybe I should give him his money back. Anyway, Rastian, do you see any pieces you would like?" She asked.
The fights were in full session and there was a bit of a lull in business anyway. She might as well try to make something. She started whittling at a piece of wood. It wasn't very good wood- the grain was all wrong- but it was the crotch of a tree's fork, and if she remembered correctly slingshots were y-shaped pieces of wood with a strong, stretchy part and a saddle for ammunition. "So, Rastian. He had a similar accent to you. Was he also from Sauti?"

[Kaalnia: Menk Stall] "Heh, she's right you know." said Kaalnia, "I'm really bad with names. I once named a spitorog... wait for it... spitorog." Come on, kid, laugh. Laugh, please? Please, people just laugh. "I think Popper is a good name for you though" she said to the fish. Because he, uh... popped? Like, with his little fish lips.
Also, the kid's sister was really good at names. Kaalnia was a little envious. It was probably a mark of how far off-game Kaalnia was right now that she didn't really register how pretty Aminah was or try to flirt with her.
[Hijil: Around] Hijil found the bookkeeper and quietly inquired about the fights. She had no money to bet, but she wasn't making promises anyway. "I would like to look at the list, please." she said. She studied it carefully when he showed it to her, her eyes tracing the names and fights. Finally she handed back the list. "Thank you" she said, heading back to the stands. She was sure the bookkeeper wasn't too disappointed. He had plenty of takings after all. And now she did too. She knew the name of that fighter, and who he was fighting. She searched for his fight and watched it like a hawk. She wanted to know as much about him as she could. What she would do with it, she didn't exactly know.

7th post for Volle, 6th post for Senja and Ray Vollerei Vollerei was a bit displeased. She'd lost on the first round... Oh well, more time to eat then. Smiling she went to go retrieve Zweil and headed back to the food stalls. She still had many to taste! It really was a good thing I grabbed some of that stolen loot from the bandits, otherwise I;d never be able to eat everything here! She and Zweil set about test tasting and feasting everything that smelled good. She originally was gonna try everything, but her funds weren't unlimited, so she went for stuff she'd never seen before and stuff she could smell that smelled delicious. She may have lost the first round of the tournament, but she had found a slice of heaven! Rayolun Raylun saw a large alkidike feasting on food and smiled as he saw the shocked and fascinated expressions on the faces of the stall keepers and people watching her. Rayolun shook his head, it was obvious that this lady was a glutton, her huge hips and the way she systematically shoveled food into her mouth showed it. He was going to buy some food then leave when he spotted the Kinfa. Still a baby... wonder how she caught it and if she can give me some hints. Lassara would love to raise a Kinfa. With that thought in mind he paid for a huge flat loaf of bread that was cut open and had smoked peppers, thick chunks of meant and a spicy sauce spilling out of the cut. "Hey there. Mind if I sit here and ask you some questions on the Kinfa?" He asked politely as he approached her table. Senja Senja giggled at Niadra's comments. "Oh, I've gotten some tips to buy something nice!" She stretched and got ready for her next dance. "Do you want to sing for me while I dance? That way I can catch my breath from all my piping?" She'd gotten better but dancing and playing her pipes for an extended period of time still exhausted her. She had no idea how professionals managed to do both for so long!

The horns blared once more, announcing the winner of the tournament and the end of the fighting. Jacinthus and Chalcedony had just exited the ring and drums joined in with the horns, turning the small fanfare into a full blown celebration. The crowd was still cheering from the excitement in the match and dancers entered the arena, circling each other and enjoying the celebration with the rest of the crowd in a performance.
From the shadows of the arena's base, a figure stepped out into the opening, his hood pulled close over his body. It was strange that he had blended in for so long, being as large as he was for an earthling, but he took this chance to step forward into the arena's large circle and looked up into the crowd.
It took time for people to start noticing him now. The dancers stopped first, their loose clothing continuing their movement even after they had stopped. Then the closest in the crowd noticed the dancers stopping and it spread, slowly, one by one, the crowd stopped celebrating and became silent.
The man pulled down his hood, letting the entire cloak drop from his body and revealing his hulking size. His strange orange crystals caught the light and shimmered as he stood. It was quite a sight to behold; nobody had ever seen an earthling quite like this before.
The leaders of the different groups of Tendaji - Antiope, Enki, Enlil, Vescillea, Freya, and even Yansa were gathered in the stands, watching the final battle with the rest of the crowd. They now eyed each other wearily, while Freya took a step forward. Recognition was in her face and it was a strange sight for the rest to see, knowing how typically cold Freya could be.
Freya jumped from the stands and approached the man standing in the center, the rest of the onlookers watching and wondering what was going on.
The other leaders of the group, though more in the dark than Freya appeared to be, took her lead and left the stands to join her.

Sathe || Wandering the Fairgrounds with Aminah (post 12)
Sathe laughed at Kaalnia's joke. That was a silly name.
The horns blared in the stadium and Sathe snapped her head to it's origin. "Ooooooo something's going on!" She pulled her orb back to her body and squealed. "I'm sorry Briella. Can I show you Tin some other time?"
She tugged onto Aminah's shorts, too excited to be thinking about being rude right now. "Big Sister! Something's happening! Can we go see?" Aminah lifted Sathe up, shaking her head and encouraging her to be excited.
Sathe was delighted. They would go see! They would!
They got to the stadium just in time to see the man step into the center of the arena and the other people, of which Sathe being so little had no clue who they were, and she looked at the scene with wide eyes. What was going on?
She turned her head to look at her sister, but was surprised to see that she was suddenly serious. "Are you ok, Big Sister?" Aminah snapped out of her daze long enough to answer Sathe and assure her that she was alright and that they should go sit down. Sathe let herself be led to a seat in the stands, close to the ring and she swung her legs as Aminah watched the going ons below.

Pahana (Post one)
"Tahigwa! Have you seen someone like him before?" Pahana squealed, leaning forward as the man appeared in the center of the arena. He had big yellow jewels upon his even bigger muscles! Her eyes wandered over him idly while she leaned up against her "sister." "He's so...Wow..."
Tahigwa (Post one)
Tahigwa rolled her eyes at Pahana as she curled up against her, but couldn't look away from the man either. Her gaze was far more critical, as if she were comparing him to someone or something else, and eventually turned to nudge Ogbonna, who had been sitting to her side. "What do you make of him, kid?" She asked. "Do you think my brother could beat him up?"
Ogbonna (Post one)
Ogbonna was already on his tip-toes, leaning all over the place as he studied the man from every angle available, and turned towards Tahigwa's nudge with an eyebrow arch. Yaholo? Beating him up? Maybe. That would be a big maybe. He nodded as his final answer and hopped up to his feet, before cupping his hands around the sides of his mouth. "Fight fight fight fiiiiight!" He screamed, obviously not understanding that the battles were over and that the elders were not there to beat the big man up.

Ime post 8
"Mama... who's that man?" Ime asked, turning to her mother with her brows furrowed. Not only did she not know who he was, she had no idea what he was. Who had yellow rocks?! He must be a mix... right?
"Well, I don't know," Mama admitted, "but I think we'll find out."
Bhima post ??
Bhima, meanwhile, stood trembling by the front of the stands. She didn't much care for those sitting behind her- sitting was still a little bit... unconscious-y. She didn't know who this man was, but she was... curious, for sure. Dare he think she was someone new? He certainly seemed important.

Lasarra Lassara laughed at Kelina. Oh it was nice to have a sister, a sister who didn't see her any differently that was. As the two of them walked around and Kelina admitted she was lost Lasarra smiled. This was amusing, she had felt that Kelina had a better sense of direction, but she was wrong it seemed.
As she was about to suggest that they look around some more she heard the commotion. "Come on sister, we can get a fish later. Let's go and see who won." she said taking Kelina's hand once more and leading her to the arena.
She watched with a smile all of the dancers, and then when everyone stopped she saw the man and raised an eyebrow. What odd stones, and it seemed as if the elders started walking towards him. "Kel, have you ever seen an earthling like him?" she asked curiously. Surely her sister would know more about earthlings then she would.

[Dyakida: At her stall] As the commotion and partying began, Dyakida began to pack up most of her things, leaving only a few smaller items for sale along with items she had had reserved (from people who were sure they would make it big in the next round of betting or from merchants who assured her they would make the sale) and simple items she had been quickly commissioned to do. She had actually gotten a few commissions, but they were long term. She intended to start on them after the excitement had passed and she could work in peace. She was just starting to feel oddly uneasy for some reason when the sudden silence and then murmurings caught her attention. She had packed up most of her stand, so she felt comfortable leaving it for a moment. "Excuse me?" she asked the nearest person, "What has happened?" But they were all preoccupied with whatever was happening and did not answer. She weighed her options. She could either be more persistent and leave her stall unattended, or she could find out what was happening. Satisfy her need for the practical, or her curiousity? It was a hard choice. She tried to sort out familiar voices from the crowd, but there was too much white noise and murmurs. Any familiar strains were or would be drowned out. This was annoying. Dyakida went back to her stand to finish packing up, listening to the whispers as best she could. Wow! he's big! Strange man... ...He's an earthling, I think... ...they look like sunlight, mommy! ...whats going on? They're moving... ...she looks worried... Dyakida couldn't make much of the whispers around her, but they were what she had had some sort of strange large earthling man appeared? With sunlight? Or... Oh, golden hair. The wind tribe had blonde hair, right? So. A large wind tribe man had appeared? Why was everybody upset? Or worried or... or... Auuuugh if only she could see! Dyakida pretended very hard not to care too much, seeming intent on bundling up her things and beginning the dismantling of her stall, but inside she was frustrated.
[Hijil: Skulking] Hijil had been starting to drift away from the stands when the commotion began, or- rather- ended. She investigated. The man that seemed to appear from the shadows was huge, massive even. Hijil wondered if he had been fighting, but she knew he had not. No other person at the fairegrounds or the arena posessed orange crystals as he did, so she would have noticed them... she hoped. She liked to think that she was perceptive enough to spot things like that. She wasn't very political and her life had been fairly isolated, so she did not recognize the leaders of the races, not even the Shifter leader, Antiope. But... She did know, from the way people moved out of their way, that they were important somehow. She returned to the stands above the arena and peered down, intrigued.

[Peyla: Distracted] Peyla was alternating between plotting a grand heist and cheering on the fighting when the fighting stopped. She wasn't happy. The fighting had been so fun to watch! She wished her Alkidike would fight, but her Alkidike couldn't see so Peyla supposed that that was just not a thing her Alkidike would do. She was distracted, suddenly, by shiny jewels in a stall but before she could do anything the experienced shopkeeper swatted her away. Then there was a party, and being a sprite, Peyla invited herself, trying to get at tasty things. It was her day off, so she had to treat herself, right? But then the fun and energy stopped. At first it was good because nobody was paying attention to the tasty food and Peyla could take as little as her arms could carry. But that meant it was boring to take the food, so she went and paid attention to what all the twolegs were paying attention to because she was bored and was starting to get full and a little sleepy. She wasn't so sleepy when she saw those crystals though! The fact that he was a big strange twoleg man with black hair and eyes wasn't as interesting as those! sparkly! crystals! Peyla wanted to fly in for a closer look at the shinies. She managed to get to about the edge of the arena before she remembered that she had tasty snacks in her hands! If she went up to him, it was only polite to share them, but what to share? This was a dilemma that required hovering, so she did, trying to figure out which tasty food she could bear to part with.
[Ruelash: Returning from the healers] Ruelash was not happy about losing, especially not when it was his own damn fault for tripping over himself. He at least didn't (completely) hate the guy. Fighting with a shield had to be pretty ******** hard. It was the same sort of fighting style that a capramel had, but they had thick skulls and horns and you had a weak, breakable arm and a shield. Not the same. Not very efficient either, but hey. Clearly the guy could use it. Ruelash, though. He was sticking with sharp things. And one day he would fight that guy again, maybe, and beat him. That was something to look forward to. He was headed for the weapons stall when he noticed the crowd paying attention to something. And whispering. He twitched in disgust. Damn whispering. But it wasn't about him and they didn't seem to be whining about anything (yet) so he decided he might as well take a look. Why the hell not. He didn't see what the big fuss was about, honestly. It was just a big guy with some orange crystals. Then he noticed the leaders. Hey. Wasn't that lady on the council or something? What was getting her in a tizzy?
