Before Ascreama got a chance to answer, Vinnie's iCoffin buzzed and she immediately checked it.Quote: [text] Have photos, OMG u will not believe. Meet me at circus in 1hr. -H [/text] "Hang on, ghoul. Looks like we've got a lead on this circus case. You'll have to let me know what you know later. I gotta fly." And with that, Vinnie scurried out the door to the circus...

It was almost a relief when the awkward standoff between himself and Dashner was interrupted by banging on the door. He stared at Vanisha, or rather, at what little of her he could make out. Were girls even supposed to be over here? "B.. boyfriend?" Was she still on that? He was baffled and struggling to keep up with her tirade. He raised one hand, indicating she should stop talking. "Shh.. please.. " He glanced toward the door, then moved and closed it, hoping Mr Verize wasn't about to become visible and chew them out over having a girl in their room. "Why don't you talk to Ascreama?" Why had she come to him anyway? Meme may have been someone he considered a friend, but he didn't know her that well yet.

With a huff, Dashner walked over to the door and turned off the light. Then he looked at Vanissha. "I'm in no mood." With that, he closed the door, and got back in his bed... Even if it was only 8:30.

"Perhaps this is a conversation would be better had.. elsewhere?" Dashner's foul mood was setting him on edge, he wondered if perhaps the boo was unwell and if that were the case, he would sooner not catch whatever it was himself. He ushered Vanissha toward the door, glancing back at Dashner with a frown. He was about the say goodnight, then thought better of it, fearing anything he said would just make things worse. That was usually what happened.
Instead, he turned and left the room in silence, leading the invisible ghoul with him.

Ronan Aalto "Perhaps this is a conversation would be better had.. elsewhere?" Dashner's foul mood was setting him on edge, he wondered if perhaps the boo was unwell and if that were the case, he would sooner not catch whatever it was himself. He ushered Vanissha toward the door, glancing back at Dashner with a frown. He was about the say goodnight, then thought better of it, fearing anything he said would just make things worse. That was usually what happened. Instead, he turned and left the room in silence, leading the invisible ghoul with him. Vanissha had forgotten Ms. Sue Nami's warning of not being in the boo's dorm since her past at pranking them on her first night with her roomies. Or that the hidden Mr. Verize, who caught the invisible ghoul in the act, was the one who called it in. Strange as she'd never even saw him... As always Vanissha was far too concerned with her social drama to be concerned with troublesome discipline. "What's got her feathers all ruffled?" Vanissha asked as she was being escorted out by Ronan, slightly irritated. Hexcellent, guess I'll be sleeping alone tonight...Falconnie left me too... I just don't understand." Vanissha said sadly. Both her roommate left her and it hadn't been a whole week of school yet! What could it possibly be? She made sure she was fun, as unlivily as she could be and her parties always killed it! Did her roomies not understand how lucky they were?!? "Since the only place left open this late on a school night is the Die-ner. I take that's where we are going?" She didn't want to say it but she could use a snack to eat as stress always caused her to eat more. And she was feeling really stressed. But more then anything she was feeling alone. That was one thing she was never too good at. At least the Die-ner would be packed with people who needed to get off school grounds. Social situations always helped her mood. While going to an empty dorm was not something she was looking forward too.

"Uh.. sure, why not? " He shrugged. "No idea, perhaps he's ill?" Dashner's fluctuating mood was just confusing, and Ronan felt he had better things to do than puzzle over what was wrong with his moody dorm mate. "Falconnie's disappeared?" He'd been struggling to keep up with the girl's rambling thus far, she'd mentioned Dashner's sister several times but he was somewhat baffled as to what she was going on about. "Does Dashner know?" Hey, maybe that had him in a bad mood? Had his sister upped and joined the circus or something?

Dashner ran and sprinted off the ground and flung himself into the air. Flapping his wings, he flied to his familiar Doomitory.
He walked in the door, he took a minute to stare at Ronan's bed. His roommate went and joined the circus that morning, and he was still in some shock about that.
He sat on his bed and hung he's head low, thinking about all the ways that the conversation with Marceline could have been way better. Finally, he got up and decided he'd tidy up a bit.

Today had been a shorter day of tombschooling for Rory, something he was more than pleased about. Yesterday he had helped his mother clean up some of the leftover mess from the Shadow Eclipse, and it had been hexausting. Other monsters didn't realize how the cataclysmic events like the Shadow Eclipse affected not just their realm, but every other realm connected to it, and as mirror witches, Rory and his mother were tasked with helping to keep everything between realms stable.
If there was one thing Rory was thankful for, though, it was that being as busy as they were prevented his mother from critiquing his choice of friends. She seemed convinced that they were going to let him down or hurt him, and Rory was tired of arguing against her till he was dull in the face.
Once freed from today's tombschooling subject (Fanglish), Rory had peeked in on Marceline through the mirror in her locker. Her back had been to him, and it had looked like she was getting ready to rush off to class, so he hadn't said anything. Since he wasn't a student at Monster High, it made him feel awkward about reaching out to any of his friends while they were in school.
To his surprise, though, when he looked through the other side of the mirror in Ronan and Dashner's doomitory room, he saw Dashner burst inside. Clawesome! He wondered why Dashner had gotten out of class early.
*knock knock*
"Hey Dash!" Rory popped up in Dashner's reflection, standing behind him. "Got out of school early too, huh? Clawesome!"

Dashner looked surprised when Rorrim appeared in the mirror near him. He looked at Rorrim a minute before speaking.
"Not exactly. Marceline and I had a uh.. Fight-ish. Are you here to yell at me too?"

"Uh. No?" Rory misunderstood what Dashner was saying as he appeared in the room. "You guys were in a fight? Is Marceline okay?! That sounds dangerous!"

Dashner raised his eyebrows. That over concern for Marceline made him blink a bit. Did Rorrim not care about if Dashner was okay too?
"No no, a word fight. I mean, it's like... I don't know if you'll understand, but I feel like I'm becoming the third wheel. That night at the Coffin Bean? We were having so much fun having bro time? But when Marceline came, you both completley acted like I wasn't even in existence."
Dashner tried to keep the angry tone to a minimum, he didn't feel like hurting such a close friend as Rorrim.

"Uh...." Well, that was sort of out of left field. Rory felt like he was being put on the spot, suddenly. Was Dashner asking him to choose between him and Marceline? How could he possibly do that? "I didn't think anyone was ignoring you..."
In fact, from Rory's point of view, it seemed like when Marceline showed up, Dashner just got quiet and moody and removed himself from the conversation. At the time, Rory hadn't paid it any mind, but now it was making him embarrassed and uncomfortable. "I mean, I wasn't trying to- I mean, I knew you existed but- I mean, Marceline was - I mean..."
Rory stammered and tripped over his words trying to explain. This wasn't going well, and every time Rory stuttered, Dashner just seemed to get more annoyed.

"I'm not saying you could have one or the other. I could care less if you even married Marceline!" Rorrim frowned. They both know how untrue that comment was.
"Okay, so maybe I do. I just didn't want a ghoul to get imbetween us! There were days where you seemed like my only friend. I don't want to loose you over a ghoul."
He looked down at his shoes, his face red with annoyance. "And I know for a fact that I'm not loosing my beastie over a ghoul."
