"Hellene...HELLENE!" Draconia wasn't one for shouting, but on the morning after the insane Catty Noir concert, things were still chaotic at Monster High. The entire student body seemed energized, with so much to talk about and gossip, and cutting through the students to reach her beastie seemed as difficult as a boneless slime monster lifting a 200 pound barbell.
Finally, Draconia ducked past Jackson Jekyll, gave Heath Burns an apology for swacking him in the face with her wings, and sidled up next to Hellene Harpie.
"Bugger all, Hellene," Draconia gave her beast friend a sadface. "Why didn't you make it to comic book club last night? We had two new members, and we talked about new moan-ga, and it was ever so-" Draconia cut herself off when she saw Hellene's expression.
"Hellene, what's wrong? What happened?"

Doriana scurried up to her locker to get her books before first period. Then Ronan silently came to his locker, the one next to hers, and began to get ready for the school day. She decided she'd say something,
"Ronan Ronan! Can you believe Catty Noir performed at OUR school?!"

Ronan turned from his locker to the excited Doriana, frowning a little. "Uh.. the.. singer?" He hadn't really paid too much attention, some celebrity he'd never cared about was supposedly dropping the fame and fortune to be a regular student. Like that was going to work. He shook his head. "Yeah.. she performed.. and?" Oh he believed it, because it had happened... what was to disbelieve? He looked flat out confused.

Jewels rummaged through her satchel, and her locker but alas, she had to admit it... she was out of glitter. Her world was ending, this was an emergency, a crisis of epic proportions! How could she live without sparkles!?
She'd tried the art store but that sweet Chimera boy who usually put aside her weekly order for her hadn't been in work for days. The ghoul behind the counter had just stared at the mole ghoul incredulously as she tried to explain how important it was she got her order of stick on gems and glitter glue. She'd have to see if anyone else in her class happened to have a secret stash she could borrow from. Her current art project demanded copious amounts of glitz, it was crucial!
With a deep sigh she closed her locker, shouldered her fabulously bedazzled satchel and scanned the halls for a familiar face. Bridget was too busy batting her eyelashes at the gargoyle boy from last night, Jewels knew full well her friend would be utterly useless to her for the time being. Poor Jewels, she had no time to deal with Bridget and her "do you think he really likes me? oh what should I wear? What movie should we see?", she had a real problem here! The great glitter shortage of 2013! A drought of spangly sparkliness!

"Are you kidding?! She's like... the beast singer ever!" She almost found herself squealing, and cleared her throat. "I didn't have time to go, I'm afraid. Who has time to go to concerts these days?! They're like, five hours long! That time could be used doing something like... Family! Or..." She scratched her head in confusion. There just wasn't enough time in a day to calculate such a problem.

Ascreama pulled a notebook and stationary sets out of her locker and stuff them into her bag. She looked at herself in the small mirror was set up in the door and gave her reflection a determined nod. Unlife would go on without Meme! "I'm happy that my friend is happy! Who am I to judge monster's choices?" Ascreama asked aloud, however, she couldn't quite fool her own mind.
She closed the coffin shaped door with a small click and nibbled the rest of her raspberry jam covered toast. A busy school day and plenty of good food would certainly help.
"What am I going to do without glitter? Oh my goshenite, my life is ruined!"
Something was shimmering in her peripheral vision; a fretting mole-monster to her left was muttering and their heavily jewelled bag sparkled in the lights of the hallway.
"Uh.." Ascreama approached the ghoul, hoping to help "Are you okay? You look pretty anxious." She blinked as everything sparkly on the ghoul hit her eyes.

Jewels turned to Ascreama and her eyes widened behind her thick spectacles. "Caverns above... You're so shiny! " The ghoul reminded her of a big bowl of jello, it was amazing. "And yes, it's terrible! I'm all out of glitter and I need it for my art project and and..." she was babbling, stringing her words together rapidly. "The cu.. nice boo who usually fills my order has joined the circus.. can you believe it? The circus!? Good for him, but oh my ghoul.. it means nobody remembered my order! the new ghoul is awful. Oh goodness, what am i going to do?" She was fretting terribly, wringing her clawed hands anxiously.

Ronan sighed. "You never seem to have time for anything." Except randomly babbling at him it seemed. "what DO you do all day?" aside from fret over time management apparently, whenever he encountered her she didn't seem to be doing anything.

Ascreama blushed, "Aww, uh, thanks!"
The slime monster nodded as she listened to the rambling and placed a gooey hand on the overly-worried monster's shoulder.
"Don't worry, you've met the right gool!" She said with a smile, and decided it was best not to bring up Meme. This grey ghoul seemed anxious enough without added stress from strangers.
She began to dig through her locker once more and produced a small box containing vials of glitter, bottles of shiny sequins and strings of colourful beads. "I have a great stockist abroad and import loads of cheap arty goo-ds!" She handed over the small box "Hopefully this will help!"

Doriana raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me? Just because every time you rarely see me and I'm not doing anything, that doesn't really mean I don't do anything at all."
She finished putting her texts books in her bag and brushed her hair, luckily there was a mirror inside her locker. "Besides, when you came to me today, I was doing something."

"oh?" He shook his head, he found that hard to believe. "and when did I come to you? " That really made it sound like he purposely went looking for the ghoul, when in reality it seemed they just kept bumping into one another. "So what were you doing then?"

Doriana blinked. "When you came, I was getting my stuff ready for school!" She sighed and put her brush away. It just wasn't worth it.
She got out her sketch book and worked on designs from three months before.

"sure.." he sighed, it wasn't worth the argument. Instead he waved to Ascreama who was.. giving art supplies to an over excited looking blonde ghoul. God to see she wasn't in tears again this morning.

"oh my ghoul you are a life saver!!" she eagerly bounced from foot to foot. "thankyouthankyouthankyou!" She threw herself at the blob girl, overcome with emotion as she hugged her gooey form. "i'll pay you back I promise! I'm Jewels by the way" yay a new friend, who loved sparkles as well? The day was brightening already.
