Dragonette's Name & Meaning: Darice (Persian name meaning 'Queenly')

Her Story: Darice was very young when her original pride was destroyed. So young, in fact, that she does not remember much beyond the disaster itself. Nevertheless, she is very devoted to the old stories about order and chaos, and attempts to live her life after what she imagines it would have been had she remained in her original home.
Because she was such a small juvenile at the time, she did not immediately recognize Na'ima upon coming into the Peponi, and only knows her from what her companion has told her.
Darice is a very focused, very driven young lioness and is absolutely devoted to her ideals of order - often willing to put in long hours and extra shifts as a guard in order to more fully live up to the ideals of her former home (at least as she understand them to be). However, despite this, she has one very great weakness:
Darice is absolutely terrified of storms. Due to the storms that swept over her old home, she will now freeze up at the sound of thunder, and during an actual storm she becomes little more than the juvenile she was at the time, seeking cover and comfort until the weather passes. This significantly impacts her ability to perform her duties during times of the year when storms are common, but she feels that since she works so hard to make up for it, it shouldn't keep her from holding the position.
