Setsuna set some papers on the counter as she turned to the computer that was there starting to type up check-out lists of the books that had been checked out as well as inventory check. "Because I'm a teacher, it's my job." She still showed no signs of emotion except a slight raise of her eyes to glance at the student as she spoke before her eyes went back to the computer. "Lady Rose expects me to keep this library running without problems."

 Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates Ariana landed, propping her head up on the counter. "That seems rather dull," she replied, kicking herself mentally for not noticing that this was a teacher. Still, though, this girl needed to loosen up and doing something NOT blow your brains out boring, just as the spaceman needed to.

Setsuna continued to type even as Ridgedog leaned on the counter at the girls words she stopped for a moment, "dull, not at all, I rather enjoy being around he many books and scrolls, though this cons is not as lavish with as much magical references as the Magical Realm. Lady Rose was able to aquire a good selection for the Academy." Setsuna realized she was talking a lot more than usually just like when the student Fran had been here. She usually barely said a word to the students.

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates She rolled her eyes. "You can't speak to scrolls and books. Eventually, everyone needs to do SOMETHING with all this knowledge," she replied, leaning forward and glancing at the computer screen to see what the teacher was writing. "You know, my favorite thing used to be creating large, real life games for people to participate in," she murmured absently as she watched the screen, reminded of the scientist and the mage that used to always go after each other first.

Setsuna was typing inventory logs, although her face was still blank she turned her head towards Ridgedog, "if it's fun you're looking for the Winter Festival will be starting within the the week, it runs for 2 to 3 months. They will be setting up the grounds soon and the other areas of the Academy will have events going on as well. Starcoast City will be participating as well." She decided she wasn't going to get any work done so she stopped typing' " the teachers will be helping to rub the festival along with the Duelists and other students."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates She rocked back onto her heels. "I'm not concerned about MY boredom," she replied, she floated up a bit. "You know, you could talk to the ghost you were mentioning. That'd be something," she said with her lopsided grin.

Setsuna's eyebrow looked for a tiniest second like it had twitched at the mention of the ghost girl, "if I allow that ghost to enter my library ill never get my work done." Musearia would just play around like a kid messing the whole library up. "She's probably off driving someone else crazy at this very moment."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates She sighed. "How terrible. You really ARE boring. Or bored. Same difference," she said. She thought for a moment. "What if I helped you out? I can reach really tall shelves and keep you company?"

Setsuna's eyes closed for a moment, "do what you want." which was as close to a 'sure' as anyone would be able to get Setsuna any closer to a yes. Though Setsuna guessed she could use the company, Rose did say she needed some help.

Setsuna glanced at Ariana, "Setsuna, no lady or mrs. is needed in front," unlike Rose and the others she preferred that not everyone knew automatically she was a teacher therefore didn't like any titles. She pulled out a cart from behind the desk lined with books from the magical realm. "These books just arrived a little while ago from the Magical Realm, but my library assistant is missing so I will make you my new library assistant*

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates She landed. "Alright, Sestuna," she said. When Sestuna pulled out the books, she quirked a brow up in interest. "Assistant sounds good," she said distractedly, running her fingers over the spines and mouthing the words she read on them, wanting nothing more than to know what was in all of them. The mage, the scientist, and the spaceman probably would tease her for her need to know more if they saw her now. (The mage for her lack of knowledge compared to him, the scientist for her interest in practicing things semi-safely, and the spaceman for her distractions caused by the books.)

Setsuna turned back to her desk scanning the library to see who was still in the library before turning back to the papers, "as my assistant you may read any book you wish except those in the locked section in the back. Only the Headmistresses may permit access to those scrolls and books." She moved her hand a bit and a chair for Ariana appeared as well as another desk. "You also have my permission to kick any students that are fighting within the library out of it."

Ariana 'Ridgedog' Goates Ariana's head snapped up in surprise at the any book thing. "Really?" She immediately, though gently, grabbed the book she'd been eyeing about levitating other objects. Setting it on the newly conjured desk. "Um, do you want me to put these up first?"

Setsuna didn't show it but she was surprised to see that Ariana enjoyed books, her last assistant was always bored in the library. She nodded, "yes, any if the books outside the locked area are at your service." She looked at the book cart, "if you wish to read a bit before starting working go ahead as long as the work gets done when you are finished reading."
