"No news, I'm afraid. We went straight here and didn't meet anyone on the way," she paused, and then amended, "well, anyone human, at least. "
"As for plans," her eyes slid to Len and then back to Rin, "I think we might be gunning for the helipad. We came here to grab a boat off the island, but obviously that's a no-go - say, would any of yours happen to know how to fly a helicopter? 'cause that'd be real handy, not gonna lie."

She frowned at the lack of news. Nothing useful, until... "So there is one on the island at the moment?" She'd never really been stationed in that part of the island so... that could be useful. "I could check, I wasn't sure if one was on the island. Better chance than nothing." To be entirely honest, she wasn't above trying to pilot the thing even if she knew jack s**t on how. Better than staying on the island for the time being.
"If we have someone we can head out, strength in numbers?" That and she was probably the most 'put together' of the group at the moment due to her vest.

Rin votes yes on this plan and getting the hell out. She will go find a pilot... or just try herself. /shot

"Usually is, but might be that someone else has taken it already." She shrugged, "it's probably worth a look in either case, though. As far as I know there's not really any other avenues of escape for us, and the next best thing would be to gather supplies and hole up somewhere."
"And I'm up for teaming up, the more the merrier and all that, as long as the rest of the group is fine with it too. So - you up for it, guys?" The grin was back, and the brief moment of dejection she'd had at seeing the state of the ship was gone.

Chris set his glassed back on his face after attempting to dry them off a bit then looked around. Not all of the people in the group were there and he only hoped they were just as lucky in finding shore relatively unhurt. He turned to Steve when he yelled and shrugged slightly. "I suppose we could have ended up somewhere worse."
His attention turned to the others when there was talk of a helicopter and then another group joined them.

"Well there's no point in staying around here," Chris said while crossing his arms. If trouble came, they'd be pin against the water that was hosting a tentacle monster. He didn't want to end up getting cornered like that. If there was a helicopter on this island, it was their best bet to get to it as soon as possible. And there obviously wasn't one at the docks here.

When she came to, Adriana let out a groan, clutching her head. What had just... She found herself alone on the docks, staring off into the distance as some giant tentacle seemed to be crushing the remains of a passenger ship. ... Was that their passenger ship? ... wait, where was Thomas?
"Thomas? THOMAS!" She looked about frantically. "Has anyone seen Thomas?!"
It sounded like everything had been shut down on purpose. That was strange, and a bad idea. It should have been easy enough to get enough legal force to shut the place down if that was the goal, it being the first of its kind and all. She’s seen it happen in smaller facilities over less. Whoever did this, and it sounded like someone did, was a total moron with a death wish. Well, eaten alive by monsters of legend was pretty high on her personal list of ways to die.
“Well, going for the helicopter pad sounds good. I’ve ridden in a few helicopters, but never flown one. I landed a small plane once, but that was a bit of an emergency.” she shrugged. "Not that this isn't one. How high can those dragons fly?"

Wayra sloshed onto the shore, wringing out her water-laden vest before checking her bag, praying that it had survived the escape from the tunnel. She sighed in relief to see that the strap was secureand the zipper on her messenger bag had held firm. The gauze were soaked, but could still be salvaged as was the tube of polysporin and the packaged food. The notepad and some open food was useless, but she had no qualms about tossing them out.
Hearing voices, she peered over and was delighted to see other survivors. As she dashed over, she heard mention of a helicopter. "I say we go, before whatever's over there decides it wants to play with something other than the ship", Wayra called out to Rin while chucking a thumb at the tentacle enveloping the ship in a ways offshore. "I'll be damned if I give up now after managing to coming this far. I don't know about you guys, but I want to be able to get off this island and go back to my zoo where my precious animals are waiting."
She turned to Steve and let out a tired chuckle. "Good to see you survived that roller coaster."
Tavast stomped through, he had rolled Fluffy off his back earlier, having tired of allowing the overly energetic Cerberus to ride on his back. While it had been alright early on, the puppy had started to get heavy.
He'd followed a certain scent as best he could though, the scent of fear. He could see the humans gathering at the docks...
But there was one in particular he sought. The female security officer that had bodily blocked him early on.
Let it not be said that Dragons didn't keep grudges.
With a warning roar - he charged Rin, maw wide and ready to chew. His teeth flashed and he tasted blood. He felt himself grow stronger...
Thankfully the group seemed up for the whole idea of finding a helicopter, or trying. Sadly though, the woman never got a chance to begin the process of asking if anyone knew how to fly one. Because a rather large dragon entered the zone.
She saw it coming, she really did, but fact was she didn't try to get out of the way. She was there to protect those people and running wasn't exactly a good way of protecting them. So she got a rather harsh wake up call to get rid of any drowsiness that sea ride might have left as the dragon's fangs sank into the kevlar vest and her. Which ******** hurt if anyone wanted to know.
She gasped as she stumbled back, instinctively reaching for where a remote would have been in her pocket, sadly she didn't find that but rather that sharp point of the stars she'd grabbed in the containment facility. Good enough. She quickly flung one at the dragon, sadly she'd never used any before. So the thing missed entirely. Perhaps because of the pain or just never using it before. Whatever the case, they now had a pissed off dragon here.
"Everyone run!" She quickly looked at Hannah hoping she'd catch the drift to show the group to somewhere safer incase the dragon decided to chew on someone else next.

Where a certain dragon went, a dog often followed. And such was the case. Even after being dumped on the way over Fluffy had chased down the dragon curious as to what he was doing. Sadly, there was a glorious distraction around the time they arrived. So Fluffy barely noticed the dragon trying to maul another human and instead...
[TAVAST YOU FOUND THE OCEAN!] Because that was the important thing. Onward the dog went darting straight for the water right through the humans along the beach as soon as he saw and and narrowly missing Rebecca in the process. It was a small wonder the woman hadn't been crushed by a paw on his way through, but hey she hadn't been! Lucky her!
And in the water he went, prancing about and managing to wash off the blood that had previously been left over from earlier.
Water was fun, ok!? [Oh my gosh oh my gosh we never got ocean to play in on the mountain!] Poor Tavast got the full stupidity of the pups prancing, the humans got to hear excited barking.

Tavast roared as Rin attacked in kind. Really, he'd hoped she would have run like the others - but it didn't seem like that was in the cards. Growling, he snapped his tail at her, hoping to knock her off her feet so he could make this a quick, clean kill.
Raja
He is now more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Or should be - 1 damage hah.
Perhaps attacking back wasn't a great idea, but Rin wasn't about to back down from the beast when she had a job to do. She may have missed once, but she wasn't going to turn tail easily.
So rather than darting away like the rest of the humans the woman took up a stance most like one intending to try and punch the dragon, alas a tail swipe ruined that by taking her footing.
...picking a fight with a dragon was not the same as working out in the gym unfortunately. <******** dragons..." Ws all she grumbled as she worked her way back to her feet, pride more hurt than anything from that swing.
Torvil
Shaddup she can win totes.

It seemed the word dragon summoned one and a large dog. Her eyes grew wide as she realized she was in very close proximity with such a beautiful creature. a hand went to her pocket to pull out the camera that would have been there, only to touch the icepack instead.
No Camera right.
And then the dog came rushing towards her, she ducked out of the way only yo see it go rushing into the water, like a puppy. How cute. She longed for her camera even more. "Hey we need to get out of here." she said to the others, common sense ruling over her need to take pictures which was a lot easier without a camera.
Banshee liked her freedom. Her freedom was palpable, it was the flames licking her tongue. Though she didn't dislike her owners, her containment, the ability to fly and fly freely was exhilarating. She wanted to soar. She wanted to crush.
With a rather dramatic flourish, her claws scraped against the dock, splinters rising up in protest of her movements. As her wings dipped against the water, small ice pads formed on the top, freezing at her very touch.
One of the boards crunched under her weight and flew up to graze the side of one of the humans, a small female one.
It was strange, Banshee had tasted bits of FEAR before. She had never been a very rebellious dragon, and she loved her owners very dearly. These humans though ... their FEAR was insatiable. It was a whisper in her mind, egging her to go on. A sort of madness plagued her as she watched them scramble. She tried to resist it, tried to push it aside. She replayed her memories, trainers and visitors, trying to get a grip of the situation.
What resulted was one thought. More. Regardless of memories and logic, she wanted more, more, more. She was beyond control now. Escaped in every sense of the word.
Rearing back, she gave a loud roar of warning to everyone in the area. She was out for blood.

Name: Banshee (given her to by keepers without ... consideration ...) Species:Frost Wyrm like black skeletal icy dragon thing idk ;_; <3 Physical Description: She's kept in half humanoid most of the time. Currently in dragon form, as picture above. Half humanoid: Black hair dip dyed blue. It's straight and drapes in front of her face something like this. She's mostly skeletal with a glowy blue core, glowy blue eyes- its a deep saturated blue. Outfit is something like this w/ blue/black color scheme. Black skin with skeletal parts. Horns, wings- dragon-y stuff. Also has a foggy fog emitting from her body just to add to general ~spookiness~. When she's not half-humanoid, she's a frost wyrm, as pictured above. Brief Character Profile: Banshee has a very strong sense of justice. She's very calculated, often thinking in percents and proportions. She has a really strong sense of what's right and what's wrong she is the law. She's relatively friendly, but can be somewhat stagnant to interact with. She likes technology and other things she can take apart and put back together. Has a hard time breaking out of her shell, but not neccessarily unfriendly. A speaks-when-spoken-to sort of person.
