Muse corrected, "Over the past decade or so there have been few minotaur-human hybrids that survived to adulthood. Most of them simply dislike being of mixed heritage and live as hermits in the mountains or deep forests." However Muse nods in agreement with Roy's statement. "True, but he puts too much force behind some of his attacks leaving him vulnerable to nimble fighters like myself or an arrow between the ribs."

"I see..well still I'll love them no matter what they are." Roy smiled happily. Laying back he stares up at the star filled sky, through a small hole in the tent, and sighed softly. "That would be something huh? A large and powerful Minotaur warrior, unbeatable and unkillable, killed by a pregnant Minotaur woman." he chuckled looking up at her. "Oh there's so much to do I'm sure. Like making sure to either build or find a bed for our children when the time comes."

(I figured Roy's curiosity could get the best of him and he would want to met some of the surviving half-breeds.) "Sometimes I can barely put up with that oaf. I find myself imagining wrapping my fingers around his neck to shut him up." Muse stated, staring upwards at the stars as well. "And don't worry about that. When the time comes, we'll have a baby shower and I'm sure the womanfolk will gift me more junk than I know what to do with. Plus we can always borrow stuff from Sheena."

(ahh. well I figure they were very secluded or something. sweatdrop ) "True, she probably wouldn't mind I'm sure." he laughed then sighed. "Hmmm...you don't know of any locations of these breeds do you Muse?" he asked sitting up. Roy was curious, maybe he could get a chance to look at one of these half-breeds. Yet would they let him?

"None of 'em have set locations like for example this is MY tent. But they tend to keep to one area even if they don't live at one location in that area." Muse examples. "On foot theres one that lives a couple weeks away. He should be..." Muse pauses to count on her fingers. "...roughly mid to late teens if hes still alive."

As Roy listened he nodded his head. "I see..would you take me to one?" he asked shyly. "I want to see one, to maybe even meet one. Perhaps he would have an idea on how I can treat you or feed you to make sure our little one grows and births well." he smiled patting her furry belly. Though judging by the size she probably did eat well already. She was the Chief's daughter for pete's sake! She got the best of the best, and what Roy never found out was that she was given the choice morsals thanks to everyone finding out she was pregnant. Only the best for her and Raxor's baby.

"I don't see why not," Muse answered."But we'd need a good story to explain where we're headed and why we'd be gone for a week or two." Muse laughed. "I don't think he'll be much use in telling us what I should and shouldn't eat but perhaps he'll be able to give us some insight into some of the problems we'll face raising a half-breed."

Resting his head on her tummy he smiled at her. "Isn't there some kind of food that grows far away? LIke maybe you are craving it and decided to obtain some?" he asked rubbing her tummy. No kicking yet, but it felt so soft and warm. She was so soft, Muse kept her fur well groomed he could tell. "If only we could just sneak away for a lover's weekend or something." he blushed. Reaching up he gently touched her face, his hand softly touching her horn. "You're so noble and beautiful. I love you so much." he said moving so he could cuddle up to her softly.

"To think... we were on a battlefield trying to kill each other a few months back ..." Muse stated with a smile. The Minotaur princess paused as she considered Roy's idea. "Yeah that might work. I'm fresh enough into this pregnancy that they shouldn't bother me about long walks yet."

He chuckled then softly placed a hand on her cheek, while his other hand was gently playing with her cute nose ring. "Yes I know..still I would do it all over again in a heartbeat." he smiled happily. "Hmmm...alright! How about we leave first thing tomorrow? I don't know how far it will be though." he stated thinking for a moment.

Muse snorted with laughter. "You'd want to lose all over again? You don't ever wonder what might have happened if the tables were flipped?" "Yeah, we can do that. Just make sure you have your stuff packed so we can tie it onto our mount and be off early while the fog is nice and cool." Muse answered, nodding towards her partially packed leather satchel that sat near the base of the pile of furs she called a bed.

"Well you might have been captured or killed. So the outcome might have been different." he said slowly getting up to pack the few belongings he had. "Of course, I probably would have tried to become friends with your tribe. You would make wonderful and strong allies in any battle." He smiled up at her. "Sure I lost, but I won your heart, and am gaining offspring." he winked slyly. "To me it's all I ever wanted. A woman's arms to hold, children to raise. You've given me those Muse." he said climbing onto the bed and kissing her lips. "My heart is forever yours..I hope that after this pregnancy there will be more to come. Maybe even marriage..that is if you would want a Human for a husband." he blushed shyly staring into her dark eyes warmly.

"Somehow I don't see those negotiations going in your favor even after a major victory. You've seen some of the women around here, they're not likely to take the killing of their sons and husbands easily. But should our races ever work out their differences, yes we would make an awesome force to be reckoned with." Muse replied with a smile. "Strange how such things can come from losing a battle..." She added, returning his kiss. "And of course I'll take you, its a matter of will the tribe take you. Not to mention we'll have to survive Raxor's fury once he figures out that he's been played."

Placing a hand on her small furry bump he smiled. "Yes..no doubt he'll be mad." he sighed. "I hated doing it, but we needed to." he stated sadly. Pulling her closer he kissed her again. "Yes it is strange. I bet you never thought you'd be carrying a Human's offspring." he smiled. "I'll say this, the plus of cuddling with you in bed is that you're very furry and warm. It helps on those cold nights." he chuckles lightly. Roy had never thought he'd find a cow woman lovely but looking into her eyes, she was a fine woman. A rugged warrior, who was gentle at times. He knew she would be an excellent leader one day. Laying his head on her chest he sighed. "The night is young, but I'm not tired. I kind of don't know what to do? What about you Honey? Any ideas?" he flirted giving her a wink.

Muse laughed. "I never thought I would be carrying anybody's offpsring. I mean I was always was a bit of a tomboy." She admits. Returning his flirt with a knowing smile, Muse slowly rolled onto her side and then on top of Roy (careful not to crush his smaller frame). "Lets see if we can't solve that problem hmm?" She comments, slowly removing Roy's shirt.
