"Oh hohoho!! I'll smash you to bits!" Kaoru taunted as he got ready to battle. Kaoru stepped back a little as the dust formed in the hallway. "What is this? Hey, fight me like a man! You coward! Using cheap tricks!" Kaoru yelled trough the dust. His arms formed blades as he parried the darts and ran over to Rei. "Ok, Rei! Apparently, none of these robots learn when they're through! We'll just have to smash each and every one of 'em!"

As Rei dodged the darts, they circled around and came back, their red sensors glowing evilly in the smoke. "I-I can't see anything!" Tessa said from somewhere in the smoke. "I can't use Cinder if I don't have a target!" She sounded like she had backed herself up to a corner of the room to wait out the fight. There was a loud *thump* as Reilly dropped her heavy gun. It would be no use in this fight either. "This was the perfect place to catch us!" Reilly growled angrily from somewhere in the smoke. "We're long range and wide area attack soldiers! Dust is close range focusing on specific targets! Rei, wherever you are, you need to be the one to take her down!" Misa was firing every direction in the smoke, her mind focused only on vengeance. A sonic wave from Misa's gun tore past Rei, less than an inch from her head. "Get out her and fight you coward!" She yelled angrily as she continued firing into the smoke. If Dust had any thoughts on the matter, she didn't reply. For the time being, Rei's immediate problem would be the small, mechanical attack craft coming towards her, splitting up to try and hit her from multiple directions at once.

Hello? This is Illo... I was the one who got captured on purpose, but I've broken out since then. I was trying to get to the lab and destroy it, but they didn't take the bait. I can teleport to where you are if you need help, or I can try another idea I had... what do you say?

"Oh....okay," Misa V2 replied hesitantly, though she seemed a little more trusting again now that Illo had stated he wasn't one of the original escapees. "Well um....I still think the Doctor is gonna be mad if he finds out what you did..." she said, poking her fingers together nervously. "He told me not to play with the Harvesters because when I blow them up it takes a long time to rebuild them..." When Illo attempted to communicate with the group there was a pause before Misa's voice sounded in his head. Yeah okay, can you go do whatever and call back later? We're kinda BUSY right now! Clearly Misa was pissed about something, though she was taking out her anger on Illo rather than it having anything to actually do with him. Meanwhile, Misa V2 continued to stare up at Illo with a nervous expression, oblivious to the fact that he was communicating with the others. "Umm....where are you planning to go now?" She asked him, curious about his plans.

The blade burned to a crisp as the lasers melted it's very being. "Ha! Gotcha sucker!!" Kaoru laughed as his he flew out of the smoke and towards the machine. "Can't believe you hit my copy! You robots are supposed to be smart!" Kaoru taunted the robot as he lunged at it in his human from with dual blade arms planning to dig his blades into the machine and tear it from within.

Illo stood there for a moment while listening to Misa. It what strange to him that he could hear the thoughts of others as well, something he couldn't say before. He didn't dwell on it, however, and turned to Misa V2. As he did this a clone image rendered itself from him and twisted to her while Illo remained still. He knew something was wrong by her expression, so he tried again. This time a half dozen copies came out and waved around like blue plasma. In a second it was all over and he was as he was before, only his wavelength was less stable. She could hear voices coming from all around. "How did I get here? This isn't suppose to happen. I should be able to control it. I've never been in more than one place. This can't be madness." Things such as these were replayed to the girl over and over as Illo was now outside the room looking in the hall at the alarms, feeling the bass of giant machines. He saw a strange man in a lab coat, a giant core of some kind, and numerous images in the same line flash through and cease, leaving him with no option but to try to find them. With that he dashed down the hall. He yelled back at Misa, "You like to blow things up? You ain't seen nothin yet!" Though she could see Illo blinking in and out of visibility like a faulty neon sign.

As Illo ran down the corridor with Misa V2 close behind, he would begin to pass bigger laboratories. The walls in the hallways gave way to thick glass windows which looked down on isolated containment rooms. Some were filled with bizarre-looking equipment and others with distorted looking monsters. After several moments he would come to a hatch. In bright red stenciled lettering it stated Emergency Hatch to Floor 43. Suddenly the hatch opened and a small figure stepped out, looking around in confusion. "What the heck is going on!?" The girl asked in a high-pitched voice. She blinked in surprise as she saw Illo and Misa V2. "Hi Nitric Acid!" Misa V2 said happily as she caught up to Illo. Misa V2 turned to look at him. "This is Nitric Acid!" She informed him. "She's a V2 like me but she's complete and I'm not yet." Nitric Acid narrowed her eyes as she looked at Illo.

"Hey Misa. Who's this guy?" She asked. Misa V2 turned to look at her. "This is Illo. He's my new friend and he escaped from the cell with me! He's really fun! We're gonna go blow up some more stuff! Don't tell the Doctor okay??" Nitric Acid's mouth set into a grim line. "No you're not. You're both going back to your cells. And in a bodybag in your case, "Illo". So why don't you make this easy on me?" She flipped a switch on the massive hammer she held and the generator on the back began to glow brighter. The front of the hammer began to spin like a drill. "But you're not gonna do that because you're annoying. I can tell." She readied her hammer and got into a fighting position. "So let's do this!!"
