Well, almost all of her wounds. The blade still being in her shoulder, that wound obviously could not heal, which was fine for now. Her arm wasn't broken anymore though!

Alexiel blinked up at Sejai, the darkness fading from her eyes. "Sejai..." As quickly as the girl had come, she disappeared. "No... wait... please..." Alexiel's good fist pounded the ground in frustration, jarring her shoulder which caused her to clench her teeth against the pain. She had been right there... leaning over her... so close.

She had been right there, Alexiel, if she had been a split second faster, could have saved her. She could have stopped the knife or something. But it had been so unexpected. And now Alexiel hadn't even been able to stop the end of the world. She had to rely on the three that were in the temple to do it. She had protected Sejai for so long and now Alex had let her down, she had failed. Sejai was dead and there was no way of knowing whether the world would end or not.

"I'm... sorry..." The girl stared up at the sky for a moment before ever so slowly and carefully sitting up. It was rather painful, but her jaws clenched and she sucked in her breath, fighting the urge to make any noise.

Null was not a quick giant demonic creature. Claws came to a pause and swung back in an attempt to backhand away Laz. It was far too late as they had been focused on Shouyin. The tail surged up but never quite made it back down. Attacking had put it in a bad position and it lacked the required awesome recovery time.

It did - however - manage a small dodge to the right. Not even a dodge but just a jerky movement to save the jewel. It worked but the fist ended up hitting a few inchs to the left. Null goes into a spin and then - too quick for it to follow - was airborn.

Valiant attempt to get a hold on its flight. Failed miserably and only managed to slow the creature before it smashed into the sand of the Void and rolled. It was coated in sand, grime, and cracks when it rose back up again.

New full lenght claw to add to the former. Feet went into the same thing until it was standing like some gargantuan spider instead of the demi-man shape of before. All the transformation was quick. The thing was sagging heavy in the right and its tail was lowered almost straight.

Tired? Beaten? Pissed off?

So that is what would have happened. There was the whole issue of time taking a few steps back though.

Flare was there.
Flare punched.
Null's crystal shard exploded like a vase hit with a bullet.

Had the same effect as shattering one in mid air when its coming towards you. First the crystal shards flying at her - then Null started to literally chip away and fall apart in the second that followed. Kind of like an explosion of sharp crystaline edges and rivers of the black skin ooz that ran off of it and puddled to the ground.

Flying glass shards raining onto her and ooz dripping all over like it was melted off as Null vanished into nothingness. Her day had to suck it - hard.

Shouyin got to his feet, pondering whether or not he'd actually been sliced up as planned.

Then he saw Null take the fall.

"LAME!"

The demoness supposed she should have been around long enough to be used to their being two of one person around at once, but she still found it vaguely eerie.

"Do I look alright?" she spat, after wiping some of Null's ooze away from her mouth. Well, she still had enough energy to be angry. That was something, though she doubted she could do much else.

She landed, laying on her back in the sand with her wings stretched out to either side of her. Her legs still ached from Amp's celestial fire, her right arm felt as though its inside had been torn to bloody shreds, and there were tiny cuts and ooze all over. Not to mention that the left side of her body still felt numb from the wolf man's ice attack...which may have been as much a boon as an annoyance, at this point.

Owle, wake me up when Allen comes back.

It wasn't that she was concerned or anything. She wanted to hitch a ride in his van. That was all. No way she was flying or walking back, not with injuries like this.

He was being polite? What the hell?

Flare's crimson eyes stared up at him. "I'd prefer you'd have not used cold to attack...but it got the job done, and it got me off of that damn thing." The demoness smirked, "I was not particularly friendly in the gambling area, either."

She shivered slightly as he began scraping the ooze off her; too damn cold for her liking. It didn't seem worth the energy to protest violently, though, or at least not in her current state.

She considered his question and waved her left hand dismissively. "Bring me a warm bath and a healer. Failing that..." Her injuries did not allow her to shrug. "I'll just rest here for a time. Tend to your own wounds."

"If I hadn't had a friend to tend to, I'd have fought you as you suggested," Flare replied. "I'll heal in time, once I'm gotten out of this place. I'm in no danger of dying here..."

She met his eyes with her own. It was not in Flare's nature to look away, even if she had been aware that she was making him uncomfortable.

She hadn't expected him to take her request for a bath seriously, and hoped he was merely joking. Though the demoness couldn't say she wouldn't be grateful if he brought her one.

"Yes..." Her allies were already here, but unless Rage was going to get Ryuji the fire dragon to carry her, she was going to be waiting for Allen to come out of that temple.

It would still be somewhat awkward, since besides the ruined remains of her leather jacket all Flare was wearing was that stupid bodice she had gotten from the rat man. Damn thing had ripped her shirt when all the petals went flying up...

"Hopefully. Wish I knew what they were seeing inside, but even the telepath over there can't break through the temple walls." She gestured loosely towards wherever Owle had gotten to during the fight. "Heh..." She seemed to find something vaguely amusing as her lips quirked upward in a smile.
