Shouyin, breathing somewhat heavy has he ran through the intact shops, small crowds and giant ferry reckage, smiled with relief to find his Impala still in tact at the end of the boardwalk. Digging into his pocket with his left, he pulled out his keys, opening the driver side door and sighing once again with an alleviated spirit when not even a drop's worth of water emptied out the car. In fact, the car was looking better than ever, almost brand new from the inside out. Even that cracked window appeared repaired.

Oh the Gods of Chaos were smiling on our hero today.

Hopping in the car, he quickly checked his belonging, making sure all the baseball bats were in his duffelbag, that his backpack and electronic devices were fine, that the glowing shield was tucked firmly under the rear seat so as to hide that obvious indigo twinkle, and that the Wu-Tang sword was under the passenger seat, ready for use. He grinned and pulled on those shoes, socks and grey t-shirt, throwing the suit jacket atop the leather bench seat in the back for safekeeping.

A prayer that the engine would start and his basses were okay, and he turned the keys.

On yet another motorcycle, Allen sped into the Boardwalk ignoring all speed limits. And ignoring any pedestrians too, not that there were many left atfer that tidal wave. He needed to get off of the island though, and back to the Temple.

Thus, you know, the lack of obeying speed limits.

(Reposted because I had to delete, and then the guy left. Meaning I was able to leave anyways.)

Revrevrevrevrev and VROOM! Shouyin could've applauded with straight up -glee-, but he was way too manly for that. Shifting into first, he sped forwards, swinging the car around with the e-brake, and heading towards the ferry. Hopefully things would turn out spiffy once again, and there'd be another boat waiting for him at the dock.

If not, then Shouyin might be stuck on this island for a while.

"Tch... that guy again? Weird."

Allen, too, sped off towards the ferry, ironically ending up passing the bike he had stolen before. It was, of course, waterlogged and ruined, but it was there.

But yeah. The Ferry. Because even if there wasn't still a ferry there, maybe he could snag one of the A~E boats Degs had told him about.

Owle entered the boardwalk from the Gambino Mansion, engaged in conversation with Flare.

You did what with a little rat man?

At this point, Owle decided it would be much faster to fly.

Oh, come on, you know you like that thing...

There really was not much for people to do but watch or run. Ever since it had waltzed - or waddled for better term - up onto the boardwalk. It was almost like a natural enviorment for Null really. Not really cramped - but still smaller then a regular area of Gambino. People packed in tight and tiny shack shops set up along the way was just an additional benefit.

As things went though - this was an enjoyable place. Null's short body seemed perfectly content situated on top of an ice-cream wagon. Sure the metal lid was cold under it. Its wings were a bit cramped under the damn umbrella too. (This problem was quickly solved with a wing flex that send the umbrella flying across the way.) The treasure trove he'd found was a beautiful one though.

With the very tip of his right wing - where a tiny clawed hook extended - he speared up the good sugary substance. Just the tiniest little clip before throwing them in. Kind of like a kid would do with candy - except he was doing it with entire cones.

And a bucket or two - but mostly cones.

Moving through the crowd Gammu swept them aside, shatering bones and crushing the unarmoured bodies if they fell underfoot. "Wonder what they're running from. Well either way this is near the place off all the sensor disturbances."

((Post order, yo.))

Gamma reached out and clotheslined a fleeing Gambino-ian. A little low, avoiding crushing their throat. A hand swooped down a lifted them by the arm. Too frightened to say anything, they pointed. Something over there, apparently.

The area around it was pretty desolate at this point. All things considered the Gams could probably reach the location with a short run. Not that he was hard to miss in the least. Especially since he was currently rolling all over the cart to get the smaller sections - corners and doors - deep into his mouth. They seemed to vanish into the dark cavern beyond those teeth which chomped down greedily and ripped peices free.

It was some bestial s**t. Especially since at some point he had apparently turned on the stands speakers. It was unsettling to hear 'Jingle Bells' playing this time of year. Even more so when chibi-Satan seemed intent on eating the entire boardwalk.

"That's not something you see every day." Though Gammu probably should have been expecting something to utterably ******** up as this s**t. Looking at the monster he holstered the shotgun and crouched with riotshield infront of him as he brought his hand up. The 40mm gauss cannon moved into position and in his hand. At a range of less then eighty meters the weapon had cycled to a cluster munition shell. Depressing the trigger the round flew through the air with a cracking hiss as it broke the sound barrier. As about a meter away from the target it burst into a hail storm of tiny metal fragments.

Gamma looked, and thought one thing immediately.

That thing looks like the result of a drunken orgy between a bunch of flying lizards and the Easter Bunny.
He articulated these thoughts,
"What ******** rock did that thing crawl out from under?"

Gamma swept aside just before Gammu fired, hoping to stay out of sight. If the thing used eyes, atleast. Even if it was some egg, it wouldn't hurt to flank it. Seizing a nearby lightpole, Gamma was getting ready.

a** sting. That was about as articulate as this thing was going to get. Its thought process seemed to have trouble keeping on track. Especially when it felt the sting of something - it did not care what - hitting it in the back.

This had two effects. For one - if they were close enough to notice along its charcoal flesh - there was a now a tiny series of holes along the...lower back I guess you would call it. The damage would be minimal due to conditions on the shot. A small target at range of over fifty feet, cluster rounds, and how it was crawling all over the stand with its wings in a constant array of movement. Any hits that landed on those monsterous appendages did not even phase it - instead just bouncing off.

The second effect? A mystery unless they managed to get behind the creature as it jerked around - facing down the boardwalk towards Gammu. Getting around it without being noticed would be hard.

Wings came forward like claws - bending down at the same angle even by some freakish out of the ordinary angle - as the beast jumped down off the stand. Overall the cluster effect seemed minimal or it just did not care.

If Gamma managed to get behind the creature - he would notice how the affected area seemed to take on a dirty blonde 'glow' or tint.

Braced against the board walk Gammu was akin to a fortified gun turret. With the shield bedded into the ground he leaned into it with the barrel poking over the rimm. His sensor array gave him a clear view. The first shots seemed to do naught. A anti tank sabot cycled in and cleared the breach as the gauss cannon fired the 40mm tungsten carbide rod at mach 4 speeds.
