I am Shhh, I am 19 years of age going on 20 in Dec. I've been writing poetry ever since I was able to write. I've never shown my work to the public until recently. Honesty is important to me on my work.

the pineapple princess Hello! You can all just call me Pineapple or Pine or really just whatever you'd like. I'm not picky. I tend to write short stories that are just begging for a lengthier tale, but I haven't succeeded in that just yet. I also dabble in poetry every so often. I just turned 22 years old and I love anything unusual. Gore, the macabre, ordinary tales with a slight twist, they all give me the chills. I'm not opposed to other genres, that's just what I like the most.
So. Hey! How are ya?
It's very nice to meet you Pine, and thank you for joining the guild! I'm glad you enjoy gore, and the macabre- I think I have just the contest for you! I've currently launched a nightmarish contest of horrors if you'd like to check it out on the competition page.
Do you write mainly in the horror genre? Are you currently working on anything in particular?

What would you say your least comfortable genre is? Mine would have to be romance. My characters always end up hating eachother in the end, haha.
Oh, what sort of fanfiction are you writing? I was a fanfiction writer once, way back in the day, I think I may have been ten. It was way before I understood the concept of creating my own characters, haha. I'd probably suck at it now, but I could help you if you want ^_^

I am also not the most romantic of people, and end of hating everything I write. I'm okay reading it, but I can't manage to write it.
It's a crossover of Sherlock and Harry Potter. It's basically supposed to be what would have happened if Sherlock and the gang lived in the magical world. I'd love some tips. I have a hard time using someone else's character. No matter how well I think I know the character, I can never get into their head. It's a struggle.

Well since it'll be taking place in Harry's world, the magical world, I think you should start from the perspective of Sherlock, and his take on the magical world. What conflict do you have in mind for the story?
