The last blast knocked the weary hunter back, and Jerry decided that maybe staying down for a few minutes would help his brain to stop exploding.
Maybe a short nap would be good. Yeah. He continued to hum quietly over the ringing in his ears.

He'd been watching him so long, it was easy to steer his eyes back. He leveled the end of B0nez's main blade in the air, to where Rep was hacking and slashing above, and Tracey was bleeding bright, vengeful streaks of red.
He pulled the trigger.

It went wide.
Harrison did what he had left to him.
There was a low, subtle flash of blue, and with unnatural quickness, he vaulted up the shadowy mass. He knew what would happen next. He was prepared for the consequences.

Rep leapt into action as soon as he was sure Harrison was ready for him to. He didn't even question the few fumbles, aware that the moon hunter had to have other s**t on his mind. It wasn't often something bothered him enough to want to talk about it during a battle, but blue kingdom had been any number of problems.
He careened upwards with familiarity, letting himself fade into Tracey just enough to get the height they needed, somewhere else as the blade curved around and only dimly aware as he struck the massive heartless, it shuddered but didn't lash out, and somehow more unsettled by this than if it had tried to swipe at him, he got back out of range, leaping back, desummoning Tracey in mid-air back to be caught.

As quick as he was on the ground, he charged forward again, Tracey brandished at the ready.
He swept sweat soaked hair out of his eyes with one hand as he brought the blade down with the other.

Rep couldn't help but be amused at the fallen angel's cheery tone, it was all right for him, he wasn't the one whose muscles were telling him they wanted to abandon ship and who'd be making him pay for this much exertion come tomorrow.
That much, he could do, letting the momentum sweep him up like a tide.

"I don't know, it should be attacking," Jordan answered Jerry, frowning deeply. The creature was still just standing there, swaying slightly, watching them without any sign of aggression, even after everything they'd done to it. He slammed Ferros into its leg, frustrated by the lack of response. Were they even doing any good?

The creature didn't respond to the attack, but what else was new? What did matter though was the way Tracey lit up again.
He wasn't sure he could handle so many charges, he was starting to feel physically sick at the constant highs and lows. If he was out clubbing, he'd have stopped a few charges ago for fear of a bad trip. He had no idea what constituted a bad trip when you were flying on wings of fear but part of him figured it would be ******** nasty and he didn't want to find out.
Teetering a bit, he threw the handle across his shoulder and tried to keep the world from spinning.

The others appeared to be making short work of the shadow creature. So while they were busy fighting, Ryan continued applying bandages to whoever needed them. In this case, Rep was the next patient.
"Hold on, wait just a... there! That should hold for a while."

Ryan got a grateful nod as Rep's shield bounced back up to almost as much as it could sustain. "Ta mate." he said, carrying himself as high as he could as he stepped forward for the charge.
However, though his shield was back up and very much kicking, the sick feeling of far too much fear far too fast only intensified as he let the power pent up in the axe bleed over into him. Once again shadows spread over Tracey's surface like an eclipse blotting out all light from the surface of the steel. Only when he was composed of what appeared to be nothing but shadows did he contort and twist, seeming to lose the ability to hold it together, feathered blades reaching out like claws, lingering too long as Rep swung and feigned, picking up momentum and pace until the ragged shadows trailed behind him like a black trailing ribbon.
It was only as he struck, the sharp thunk of metal heard over the clamour of battle that the axe solidified in a flash.
He reeled back, trying to keep his head straight, half sure he had claws and feathers himself and finding it difficult to reconcile what fingers were in that equation.

Ferros seethed with heat again, and Jordan spared a glance around to see if anyone was looking painfully tired. For once, nobody seemed about to fall over - perhaps because of the creature's weird inactivity.
I want to flame, Ferros demanded.
Let's do this. Jordan launched himself at the creature, bringing Ferros up and around in a high, sweeping arc; his eyes winced closed as Ferros burst into flames, arc-light bright, but though he couldn't see, he felt the hammer's impact tear into the monster - and then through it, and he stumbled forward several steps and almost fell as the shadowy creature wavered and dissolved like a bad dream.
He felt strange, overheated, like Ferros's heat had boiled into him and still lurked under his skin. He plucked at his collar, shaking his head to try and clear it. Ferros rumbled a low note.
