Minerva leaned back against the wall "The experiment had to do with anti-super stuffs. And you're here as a thing to test, poke and prod, simply because they consider you to be an anomaly in the super world. This is the main place of supernatural study, therefore...." Minerva made a light wave of her hand.

Ruby, stepped off of the raft she had used to cross from the island. "Ain't this a pretty sight." she spoke to herself, running a hand through her chin-length hair. Still in bare feet Ruby walked carefully through the rubble. "Now which way would this camp of theirs be?"

Sahaqiel Umbra watched Ruby step off of the raft, and begin to walk around. He approached her, and eventually called out. "You shouldn't be here. It's dangerous!" Ruby glanced around with sharp and rather irritated eyes. "Warnin' the little redhead to run back, 'fore she gets herself hurt, Or 'fore you have to waste your time savin' 'er?" Ruby gave a sharp angry smile, "I'm not in the mood to be patronized, kid."

Umbra was a little taken back by Ruby's abruptness. "No." He rasped. "I meant that as in warning the little redhead to turn back before I have to start worrying about her." He saw her feet and advanced, using his sword to cut some of his cloak off. He pulled a piece of wire from his clasp, and handed it to her with the cloth. "For shoes."

Ruby's scowl softened,"Woryin' isn't gonna do you any good. I can be more stubborn than a three-legged, one-eyed, tom cat facin' the last of nine lives." She let a soft smile pass and took the offered shoes. She didn't mention that she could have made a pair of her own with a bit of blood and some shoe-laces. She figured it would be rude to turn down a thoughtful gift.
She tied them on. "So I take it I'll be havin' a shadow followin' after me, hmm?"

Minerva shrugged, "I'm mistrustful by nature, and I guess I expect the same from everyone else. You'll have to forgive that." She shook her head after a moment, "I'm not looking for anything else, but if you happen to find something, it would be nice to know."
