Shura caught the stick and dulled the fire down just a bit, eating the marshmallows on it and burning the stick to rubble. "These kids really like you, and to think at one point in my life thought you were some heartless and cruel leader."

((lol)) Lucifer grinned at her. "You said." he watched in silence as the kids finished their marshmallows and sugar rush before settling back down to sleep, which took a few hours. Yawning, he helped their parents get them onto their horses.
"Has to be getting close to dawn." he murmured, looking up at the sky. The moon had set some time ago. Slowly, he mounted his horse, and leaned forward, lying on the horse's neck. He promptly fell asleep, his wings flopped around the horse, who merely shifted so that her master's weight wasn't in such an odd place.

When Lucifer retired to the horse in order to sleep Shura was already sleep, laying next to dormant fire pits. Her arms were stretched out and soft snores escaped her lips, sleeping outside always gave her serious back pain in the morning but the sleepy demon wouldn't complain.

((aaand his nightmares begin again)) "C'mon, you." a servant said, easily picking her up. He carried her over to Lucifer and his horse and got her onto the saddle. He and another servant locked Lucifer's wings behind her, making it so that she couldn't fall down before mounting their horses and starting the sleepy train.
"No, father..." Lucifer murmured, getting stiff. "Don't, I'm just a boy!"

Shura groaned softly when she was lifted by the servant and placed onto the horse. She fell forward, her forehead falling onto Lucifer's back as she whispered lightly,"It's just a dream, you're sitting right here with me. There's nothing to worry about." Lucifer's words brought her into a state of semi-consciousness and once she realized what they were about she attempted to comfort him.

Lucifer's mumbling continued and Shura was unable to ease herself back to sleep,"It's nothing but a bad dream." Her voice now her normal tone as opposed to the previous hush tone she had spoke in. She reached out and when her hand touched his silky locks Shura petted his head.

((poor Lucifer. the big cause of his nightmares is cuz of the sword behind the throne. he's gonna deal with it soon (take it back to the old castle) and run into trouble)) "Mama? Where's Mama?"
A servant urged his horse over to the two. "I feel sorry for him. We don't know if they'll ever end. Some nights, he wakes up screaming. Others, he'll sweat through anything and everything." she said softly. "We're," meaning her and the other servants, "worried that he'll lose his sanity from it."

Shura turned her half opened eyes to the servant and nodded absentmindedly as she spoke. "Lose his sanity? Are they really that bad?" Shura questioned as she continued to pat Lucifer's head hoping to ease him though she knew it wouldn't help,"From what he told me it's just a reoccurring nightmare."

((owo)) Lucifer started shaking and sweating heavily. "No...no!" his voice rose several octaves, hitting the range he had as a boy. "Ahh! Aaaahhhh!"
"Dammit." the servant growled. "This is one his his screaming nights!" she grabbed the horse's reins and pulled ahead of the train. Once they were clear, "Hold tight!" they galloped back to the castle.
His eyes had been gouged out, and the only thing he could hear above his screaming was his father's twisted laughing. "Aaahhh!! Aaaahhh!" His screaming hit a high pitch, and he fell off the horse. Thankfully, they were already at the castle, so they had stopped. Shura, though, was still locked between his wings as he started thrashing.
The servant led the horses away as others tried to unlock his wings at least, or, better yet, hold him down, without much success.

Shura stiffened as Lucifer fell and began thrashing, the servants were now regretting doing this and she was regretting complying to their wishes. Once the thrashing started the fiery haired demon pulled at Lucifer's wings in hopes to release herself while his nightmare continued but failed and as flying appendages came toward her she made her best effort to dodge though her plan wasn't working as great as she had planned. Waking him up wasn't going to work with him being so deep asleep so Shura figured she'd have to get herself out since the servants were no help at all. She leaned back so her whole backside made contact with the Demon king's feathers and slowly her body temperature began to rise.

Aided by the heat, Lucifer's wings unlocked and began flopping with his thrashing, though they avoided Shura and her heat.
A servant finally managed to grab Lucifer's head and whacked him across the side.
"Aah!" The Demon King cried, finally awake. Ignoring everyone around him, he curled up in the fetal position, his wings forming a sort of bubble, as he started to cry.
((gotta be one helluva nightmare, to have to be slapped awake))

After Lucifer's wings unlocked Shura rolled from in between them and onto the floor not too far away from the thrashing demon. It all seemed to seize when he was slapped by a servant but it wasn't, the black haired demon was now crying in fetal position on the floor. She stood and looked to the servants around her,"All of you, give him some privacy please." Her voice was loud but her tone was a soft and worried one.

When the servants dispersed Shura took slow steps toward Lucifer stopping when she was only a few inches away from him. The demon was unsure what to say or do right now so she simply said silent and stared for quite a while until finally deciding to do something. She crouched down and looked to Lucifer's face,"Are you okay?" Yes it was a stupid question but Shura was unsure what else to say or ask.
