Part 4 Stumbling to a stop at what she considers a safe distance, Kari realizes the scenery has changed drastically. What was once lush and bright has now become noxious and sickly in appearance. Figuring this area is no more safe than the last, she proceeds cautiously. Off in the distance, she hears what could only be described as 'rumbling'. Straining her eyes into the distance, she spies movement... something sleeping. Deciding it's better to let sleeping monsters lie, Kari decides the bones are a safer place to begin her search. The bones crumble easily in her grip, giving the impression that they'd been accumulating for quite a while. "As long as I don't become one of them...", she murmured as she continued her search. After what felt like hours and a disembodied hand later, Kari came to the conclusion that there was nothing to be found in the bones. "I'm not touching whatever's over there, not after that last incident", she grumbled, deciding the expedition was a bust. Better to leave with her life, at least. ((OOC: Kari))

Sin walked into the very dark forest. With sleepy body he felt like dreaming. He heard the sound calling his name, but since so sleepy he thought it must be wrong heard. The route ended up with two choice, shining glade or deep dark cave. He made his mind to go a glade, they were looked nice.
Carrying tired body hardly, he smelled somewhat sweet scent. First time he thought it'd be a wrong nose, his body felt wrong, but the scent became more powerful as closer as he went to the giant tree.
The tree was curled up with thick green vines, made of something sharp and beautiful like glass. He decided to investigate the vines.
Suddenly the vines rolled up his body tightly. He got out of the sleepness directly. He moved his body as fast as he could.
And he escaped! The vine stopped to curl him, and he found something very interested. A MYSTERIOUS AMULET. He escaped the forest quickly.

Part 1 Kari stopped once again in front of the forest entrance. "This time, I won't fail", she murmured to herself as she stepped into the forest. She was unfazed by the sudden silence that met her as it did the previous day, making her way down to the path that led to the glade. ((OOC: Kari))

Part 3 Once again being met with the sickeningly sweet scent of the glade, Kari stepped over the vines carefully to take on the tree that she knew from experience was more than it seemed. It apparently remembered her as well, not bothering to wait for her to come closer before revealing its true nature. Kari braced herself as the tree swung a branch towards her. Suddenly she felt something wrap around her leg. A sneak attack! But it was already too late, with a flick of its vine, the tree threw her into the air and out of the forest. As she flew into the air and raced toward the impending landing, she made a note to not underestimate the tree again. ((OOC: Kari))

Sin entered dark forest. He heard somewhat creepy voice, but he thought it was just wind.
He faced two choice and he decided to go a glade directly. It was just his feeling but he had believed it a lot.
So he started to walk peaceful glade. It was looked so calm and sweet at least seemingly.
Then he found a giant tree. The tree was curled up with thick vines, which was made of kind a bell.
He decided to investigate a tree. Since the scent lured him. He couldn't resist that temptation.
As he went closer tree was looked make some move. He thought it was adorable first time but soon, it came out it was wrong thought.
The tree spilled beetles and insects, looked poisonous.
Oh my god, he tried to run away but he failed.

[Part One]
It was eerily quiet here. And dark. Maddy would have almost felt at home among the shifting grey boughs had he not the odd sensation of something watching him.
No, it was nothing. The cat steadied himself, and stepped forward down the path. So this X, was missing his notes?? ... it seemed more like an errand-boy's task than that of a budding tycoon such as himself. He tugged on his cap out of nervous habit, and tried not to glance too long into the shadows all around.
It wasn't long til he came to a fork in the path. A grim-looking cavern to one side, a brightly lit path to the other. And the latter smelled oddly sweet, like the scent of flowers, or ...
Well it didn't take a FEAR whiz to know which way Maddy was going. He hurried towards the brightly lit greenery, following after the scent.

[Part Three: The Bells]
The path here was much brighter, and greener. As he walked Maddy glimpsed the sight of a few minipets rustling between the undergrowth. But he couldn't get the sickly sweet scent out of his nose. It was everywhere, along with strange vines that seemed to hang from the canopy and unfurl through the ground. Oddest of all, was the large tree at the very center.
Instinct told him that must be the vine's source. And curious, he approached the tree. No sooner than he had however, and a strange change began to take place. The scent in the air souring slightly, vines rising around him. He had no time to react, as he landed hard on the ground.
Oh Jack NO!! This tree would pay for daring to soil his good clothes!
Maddy rose, dusting himself off before narrowing eyes on the hungry thing. And rushing forward he launched, claws bared-
But the tree's vines snapped hard against him, sending the boil flying into the air.
Poor Maddy. He would wake with a daze a few hours later, nursing a bruised ego.

Part 1 Kari was once again standing in front of the entrance of the forest. This time... time time, she would teach that infernal tree a lesson. Ignoring the sudden silence and the cold chill in the air, she made her way down to the glade to face the tree once more. ((OOC: Kari))

Part 3 Paying no heed to the sickening sweet scent that surrounded her, she strode up to the tree, only taking care not to disturb the vines, lest she end up being tossed again. Coming up on the tree, it roared to life once more and launched its attack. Taking care to avoid any more surprise attacks, Kari slowly began to notice her blows weren't having any effect. As she contemplated possible retreat, a fiery creature came into view. It spit flames at the tree, causing it to cower back noticeably. An idea struck her. Taking one of the branches laying forgotten on the ground she used the flames to light it on fire and advanced on the tree. The tree in turn cowered away from the flames, seemingly subdued by the presence of the fire. "Thank you", she said to the four-legged fire creature, who crooned out an unintelligible response before toddling over to the exit,nodded its head towards it. "Guess it wants me to follow", she murmured while gabbing another fallen branch to help light the way. As Kari turned to leave, once again empty handed, she noticed a small black vial lying amid the burnt grass. "Hmm, I wonder it Mr. X would have a use for this?", she queried while pocketing the vial before following the creature to safety. He waked up. He looked around to think where he was or why he was here, but headache was so harsh, he couldn't think right.
Well, at least one thing become clear, he thought. The tree was dangerous, not just sweet scent thing. Should he challenge again? It was really considerable question but he finally made his mind to explore again.
He walked to the forest. Even the forest was too dark to go he didn't mind as last time. When he met two path, he went to a glade without any woe.
The glade was filled with sweetness, which was just made him worse, since it remind his defeat.
He walked to giant tree, and he found a man. Or was looked like a man. Anyway he found a note too. He picked it up and run away as quickly as he could.
When he came back to the X's booth, entrance of the forest, X said he should delivery it.
That's so vexing...He knew Professor Selen hated a note. He agonize whether he should go or not.

Maddy woke a bit unkempt and empty-handed, but he wasn't about to let that stop him. That tree had rocketed itself to the top of his internal radar. His beautiful clothes were the pride of the Leandre name, something he had poured his heart into creating. It was an outright insult in it's own way, and for such a crime it had to pay.
His tail flicked angrily as he rose, and he marched straight back into the darkness. Straight back to the sunlit meadow. And straight up to the tree.
"Did you miss me??" his smile was a devilish grin worthy of any demon, as he launched towards the tree a second time. He had a note to collect, and come hell or hades, he would kick this tree's a** before he did so.
But something happened.
A great shaking rocked the ground beneath his feet, and Maddox turned just in time to see a great creature enter through the trees. Tears bubbled like black ooze from it's ... eyes?? ... and it strangely began to sing.
Maddy jerked back, ears pinning to his head, and he lifted hands to cover them. Augghhh, this horrid noise. What was THIS??!! ...
He took a step back, and then another. Back and back, he raced from the monstrosity, til he tripped, and fell ...

[Bone Hollow of Hollow Bones]
The cait sith jerked upright with a start. All around him was a sea of sickly greens and purple. The sight alone made him a bit nauseous. His hand sank into something sticky and warm, and the boil snapped to his feet.
He was ... standing on something. Something both living and breathing. Or so it seemed at least. Swallowing, he attempted to get his bearings. All around him was a sea of bushes- no, bone.
Where in the name of Jack was he??!!
Seeing no other option, he moved carefully over to inspect the bones. They were quite brittle, a tiny piece snapping between his fingers as he applied pressure. Hmmm, ... wait, what was-?? ...
He picked at the bone a bit, and came out with a note. How had this?? ... His silvery eyes glanced to the heaving ground at his feet. Best not to ask. He pocketed the note. Step one, done.
Now to deliver this thing for the Slenderman.

Part 1 Kari stodd in front of the entrance contemplating where she wanted to go today. She had found a small vial yesterday, but still hadn't come across a note. Deciding she still didn't like the idea of a cold dark cave, she made her way down the dark and silent path towards the glade to investigate further. ((OOC: Kari))

Part 3 Once again coming to the glade, she covered her mouth and nose with her scarf and made began searching the glade for the elusive note. The tree sitting in the center didn't seem fit to let Kari walk around unhindered. Still angry from its defeat yesterday, it swung its branches maliciously towards Kari's head. Kari noticed the sneak attack just in time to dodge out of the tree's reach. Luckily, she had a plan for this round. Giving out a loud whistle, the glade fell into silence momentarily before the sound of rumbling and roaring filled the air. The tree cowered back, remembering all too well what the sounds meant. As the fire monster came into view, sidling up to Kari while spewing flames menacingly, the tree withdrew its branches and gave in to another defeat. Thanking the creature for its aid once again, Kari looked around for possible signs of a note. Instead, she was met with the gleaming of another small vial. "Another one... but where's the note?", she murmured as she pocketed the vial once again and turned to follow the fiery creature away from the glade. Outside the forest, Kari handed the vial to Mr. X and strode off to find somewhere to relax, all the while wondering if she would ever find that blasted note.
