they won! The beebs looked exited almost as if it wanted to race again. She smiled at it as they lined up to race again.

Walking past the booth, Kari was startled by the sudden sensation of something snapping onto her wrist. She looked down to find... handcuffs. Attached to the other end was a small, salamander-like creature. It bounced up and down excitedly, dragging her towards what appeared to be a race track. "You want to race, little guy?", she queried. The creature bounced even more fervently, confirming that it indeed wanted to race. Taking their place at the start, Kari mustered all her strength. Unfortunately, Kari and her companion weren't as in sync as their opponents, losing the race by a hair. She looked down at the forlorn creature, feeling bad for the loss. "Want to try again?", she whispered, immediately being met with happy jumping. ((OOC: Kari))

Kari and her partner took their places at the line, hoping that they could make it to the end first. This time was even worse, with Kari tripping over her own partner as it ran in front of her. ((OOC: Kari))

Lumikki was on her way back to Luna's tent as she passed a booth. Something about it made her stop, blinking a few times she looked down at her wrist there was something dangling from it. She was handcuffed, to a small little adorable creature.
"Huh...where did you come from?"
She mused as she looked around. Seeing the notice she looked back down at the creature. I guess you want to play in the race? Looking back she smiled,
"look at that we won.."
The creature didn't seem to happy about that. Maybe it's because she didn't pull all her weight she could possibly try one more time.
How far you got: 7 + 9 = 16
How far they got: 5 + 5 = 10
My Contributions: 7 to their 9 I didn't impress enough.

Lumikki smiled as she got back in the line to race again. This time wasn't nearly as good as the first time perhaps the creature was tired or maybe it just knew Lumikki wouldn't be a good partner. But either way they lost miserably the second time they tried. The creature magically pulling the handcuffs off.
"...I'll come try again later...I promise"
Too bad the creature didn't look too impressed.

Sin was back for one last race before she headed back to her dorm, a long hot soak in a tub would be greatly appreciated. She walked over and couldn't suppress a grin as the fuzzy cuff clicked on and she saw the chubby little Beebs on the other end. Okay she had to take one of these cute little minis home with her, even if Ladyluv and Pantaloons would never accept any non Unmentionable minipet in their domain. So distracted by her thoughts, Sin didn't notice the race had started until she felt the tug on her wrist. Woops!
She couldn't manage to pick up any momentum and sighed as they lost the race. Okay that was foolish of her, and more than just foolish her legs were certainly strained.

Despite, or perhaps in spite of her quivering leg muscles Sin decided to run one last race. Perhaps pure and total exhaustion would help her sleep a peaceful dreamless sleep. Dreams and memories of dreams had caused her enough trouble today. She looked at the Beebs she was cuffed to apologetic and then paid attention so she wouldn't miss the race start again.
Paying attention didn't help though, both she and the beebs were too tired to run and the other pair won with ease. She sighed as the cuff snapped off and shrugged, ah well, but she was certainly ready to wrap up the evening.

This booth was PURE. EVIL.
She glared at the cuff and the lizard giving her the stupidest grin ever.
This was probably the only time she would ever support the phrase "kill it with fire."

Id took a breath and held out her hand for the cuff. Last time, her run for the Beebs hadn't been so successful...but today was a new day, right? Time to give it another go. The lizard thing looked up at her and squeaked.
Id barely managed to drag the creature a few yards before giving up, settling in the ground with a huff. The beebs growled irritably.

Well, maybe another beebs would be a better fit. Id braced herself for the next race...
or maybe not. Well, at least this race was a lot closer than the last one. Id waved goodbye to the Beebs as she limped off, rubbing her sore wrist.

She could tell she'd struck a sour note with him, "Well fine Sparky, but at least you got back some of your fire. And I though you'd never ask." Ragnorak attached herself to a beebs, and took off racing with it, calling over her shoulder as she ran. "You know, I saw you too right?"

Andrew allowed himself to be once again cuffed and then took off after her, not responding till it was over. "You what?" did she mean she saw him and Olivia? in their awkward dance, of staying far enough away to not scare her but close enough to almost be friends?
