I think I know why ribbons died...I tried to put some in my hair today, and they either wouldn't hold, or wouldn't stay in place...

That's sweet of you...I am most definitely going ribbon hunting...what I might just do is put my hair in a ponytail with a normal scrunchie and tie a ribbon over it...I just need to find one long enough to do that.
