Xiu's ears perked up slightly as the next group was announced. Quickly turning to Demi, she reached out to give the boil a light but firm push towards the stage. "You'd better get on there, Demi. I promise I'll pay you back your seeds right after."
She then turned to watch intently as the new slaves students were brought out, and uh...wow, there were quite a few faces she hadn't been expecting to see up there. The most striking would probably be Eris--after all she was the heir of War--but Chryses was another surprising one, if only because she hadn't thought that this was the demon boil's kind of event.
...Then again, it wasn't really her thing either, and she had still somehow gotten roped into it.
Chryses would receive a smile, wave, and a thumbs up from the baku, while Lou--who her gaze had slid to next--received a small scowl.
She was not bidding on you, Lou. She hoped that you knew that.

"Rathir kiss fire el'mentil," Mort retorted with a toothy grin to Alex before turning to the witch. "But yeah, yeah we are. S'not /that/bad. Just...wanted t'loooooosen up." And he gave her another semi-sloppy kiss because those always made her feel better.
Mort passed the horseman dreamy, if semi smug look as Bells won Sal and gave a thumbs up. Yeah. "Good job, babe~" he murmured to the witch, beaming.
But now it was also time to out his allowance to use. So Mort waved his hand around and gave his bid, trying to get Eris' attention. "Heeeeeeeey~!"

It took a few minutes for Riley to wander out from behind the curtain. Her skull seed was back on, and she looked normal, calm, and capable.
But her bid said otherwise.

TG IS BIDDING 85 SEEDS ON ERIS!
TG looked over to some ugly undead and snorted. "Back off, Rotter!" He told the boil before raising a claw to bid again. Oh the things he wanted to do to this ghoul.
He grinned wide at the thought, snickering.
It was then that some other ghoul placed a bid on Eris. While he was all for ghouls on ghouls, he wanted what he wanted.

The eager look on Thackery's face only faltered when Riley spoke the last few words in Remi's introduction. Wait, why was that so special? He paused, entirely puzzled, thinking very hard on this talent. His tail stopped wagging, and he appeared to be counting something on his fingers for some reason...before finally giving up in frustration and returning to the task at hand.
He could just ask him later. Duh. Should've thought of that first.
"Five for Remi! Five, please!" He looked more excited than a human scareling on Christmas morning.

"I'm hurt. So vury hurt." Alexander shook his head, his lips tugging down as he gave his zombro a very hang dog expression. Belladonna won the auction, so that earned a very loud and raucous cheer as Alex pumped a fist in the air. Not that he thought they had really needed to win Sal, honestly. They could spend a day with him asking him questions and being obnoxious teenagers any day of the week without paying silver seeds for it. A new auction began, and Alexander blinked and tilted his head at the woman of war that got up on the stage. "Is that...isn't that...why is she..." He couldn't understand why the heir of war would want to sell herself, but as it turned out, Mort apparently wanted her. "WOOO GO MORT! Ya need more silver jus le me kno, k?"

The boil was practically shoved out on to the stage, saying something once again about not signing up for this and SOMEHOW he signed the wrong thing... Clearly. Once he caught sight of the crowd though... And how he was introduced, remi decided it was all over anyways and clearly it was a prank gone wrong. Slouching some he combed his free hand through his hair, the other danging to the side, feeling rather awkward.
He had a reputation to uphold... Right? He flicked his trio of tails around while he tried not to think of how he suddenly felt like a slab of grade A beef.
Perking his head up only when he heard his name, he turned to look at the source. It was the cerberus boil, thackery. Wow maybe someone was trying to save him??? Thackery looked so enthusiastic too.

Mort knew there would be competition for the heir, but to see that it was from demons, well...It stirred the almost forgotten dislike of them (people like Xiu and Lizzy had tempered it). "Up yers, midget," he shot back, recognizing the imp a split second later.
The one who had been trying to hit on his ghoulfriend.

Junko giggled when Frost bid on Demi, hurrying over to Riley and tapping her shoulder. "If a student who's already been won by another bidder wins a student who also has someone they won, is that like...slaveception?" She gave Riley the most amused face.
OuO No really. She's trying not to laugh too hard right now.

He would have paid only half a mind to the fact anything was happening over here, had it not been for a certain familiar face. Which might have been the only reason why Invictus actually paused in his wanderings, crossing his arms and surveying the auctions going on at that time.
Eris might have been pleased to be able to discern that Invictus might have been feeling a little possessive, but he didn't reveal much to that nature to anybody else.

Riley took one look at the little imp, staring at him for several moments. She didn't say a word, she just stared. She could tell he had the money to back his claims up. And that worried her.
The boil, Mort, she wasn't as worried about. But he seemed determined, as well. And.. something else..
Nevertheless, she wasn't going to back out just yet. So a very firm bid was made without delay.
Riley IS BIDDING 100 SEEDS ON Eris!
Junko's question made her look at the ghoul with startled confusion. She couldn't wrap her mind around what she was saying, mostly because she was trying to intimidate the other bidders. Wh.. at.. are you.. Junko, I'm trying to have a bid war, here.

Alexander's loud cheer was punctuated with the witch's own cheer of delight accompanied by some rapid hand clapping. She'd won! She'd outbid those Horsewomen! She'd conquered some Conquest.The smile she wore was nothing short of devilish as she happily handed her seeds over, tiny little cackles filtering from her as she took her place back by her zombies. And Mort had placed a bid? "Oh, do you know her? She's going for quite a lot already..." Belladonna mused out loud, her cackles already diminished and gone. And Alexander was promising to help? Well, he had offered to help the witch was nice, but still.... Was so special about her? She was supposed to be with Freya! Belladonna shipped them!! "90?! Hecate, Mort." The witch mumbled, a frown clear on her face. As for TG, she leaned back and shot him a small glare too. Nothing else, as she didn't really want a fight to break out...

Oh jeez, this was getting more and more awkward by the second. Now Xiu's smile was less uncertain, but instead it was replaced by another look, like she knew something. The skinwalker didn't like it, not only was the ghoul too sweet to be mean to, now she looked like she knew something he didn't. This was how they got you, ghouls -- they draw you in with their cute niceness or sexy bodies and then THEY GET YOU WHEN YOU'RE HELPLESS. He was on to you, ghouls.
And yet he was still helpless to Xiu's 'wily' charms.
The skinwalker had just started to refold his arms across his chest to sulk some more when he caught sight of the ghoul reaching into a coin purse, the words 'pay back' somehow managing to get through the filter he usually used to ignore pretty much everyone. "Wh-- hey, put that away." Reaching out to grab her hand in his palm, Nuk gave her a disapproving look, scoffing at her. "You're not gonna pay him back, that's not how it works."
And then the best thing ever happened.
The skinwalker literally just stood there as Riley announced Demi into the auction, his grin growing broader and broader as she 'described' him, until he was practically bent over, his barks of laughter echoing in the cafeteria.
"BAHAHAHA FIXED? NO WONDER YOU GOT A YAPPING PROBLEM, YOU AIN'T GETTING ANY TAIL."
Straightening up, he held his hand to his mouth, making sure Junko could hear his bid.
"TWENTY SEEDS ON THE PLAYFUL WITTLE PUPPY."NUK IS BIDDING 20 SEEDS ON DAMIEN!

Riley's answer got a pout from the futakuchi-onna. Suddenly Junko paused, looked at Eris, then at the rest of the bidders. There seemed to be an almost impish gleam in her eye as she reached into a small pouch hanging from her wrist and counted the seeds in her bag.
Fine.
"Then I'll give you a run for your money." She replied almost haughtily, even sticking her nose up in the air a little. "I wasn't going to bid but you've left me no choice."

Don't worry, she's still updating everyone else's bids. Her wrist is just starting to get sore from all the scratching out and rewriting. :<
Oh look! It was Invictus! Junko squealed and raised an arm to wave to the horseman, grinning from ear to ear. "INVIIIII~! HI!"
