Freya wrapped her arms around his neck from behind, when he folded himself around her. It was here, practically covered in him like a warm blanket that kept her safe, that she felt whole. She remembered how desperately she wanted the silence in her mind, and the hazy feeling of disconnection from the world. She needed it, so bad, back then.
Now, it frightened her.
"I won't run away." Freya promised him, confident that she could keep this promise. "This is where I want to be, now. I was just telling you because.."
It almost hurt to admit it. Relying on someone so heavily was never her forte.
"'Cause without you, things go hazy."

He pressed his cheek against hers and just closed his eyes enjoying the warmth of her and the words she said back to him. Kettil squeezed her lightly within his arms, "...I feel hazy, too when I am without you." he said simply in return. It wasn't any easier for him to depend on someone or even ask for help but with Freya? He did so without even holding back or at least felt he could.
Quietly he rubbed his cheek against hers, "Have I ever told you how much I miss you when we're apart?" He smiled a bit as he just held her quietly. "Makes me look forward to the moments we get to be together and enjoy each other's company."
"You are my shining golden star. Newá'sú'wet."

Freya turned her head up to him, her smile shining so brilliantly, she managed to do justice to his new name for her. A burden had lifted from her heart, after telling him her darkest secret. Now, she felt just a little less broken. But there was still a long ways to go.
"Are yeh done with my hair? It's startings teh gets light out. If we don't sleeps soon, yeh knows, we never will."

He responded to her brilliant smile with his own. Kettil seemed thoughtful at her question as he peered over toward his nearest window and uttered a small chuckle as he kissed her cheek lightly, "Yes, I guess we should, huh?"
Kettil unwound from Freya if only so she could start to get more comfortable in the bed.

"At least a little bit. I'm sure tomorrow will be just as busy as today, and we needs as much rests as possible for it."
She climbed up on the bed, tugged her wet towel off, and snuggled into the covers.

"That's true," he yawned a little as he moved to get under the covers with her. His towel disappearing from his waist once he was comfortably under the covers. Kettil wasted no time wiggling closer to his ghoulfriend, only to wrap his arms around her. He loved being close to her.
It wouldn't take long before there was an Owl standing in the windowsill staring at them, "Sleeping time now?" She asked softly.

Endy knew just when to come home. That was probably no coincidence - being a part of Kettil, there was always that connection that tuned her into his needs. She probably knew it was time for sleep before she even asked.
Still.
"Yes, my love, is times for sleeps, finally." She giggled out to the owl from under all of the covers and the warm wrap of her boilfriend around her body.
"Goodnight, screechie." Freya whispered, kissing Kettil's nose.

"Ahh, excellent," she hooted happily as she flew over to her perch near the bed where she settled after a brief settling of her feathers and various other preening acts. There. That was good. She stared at the two quite cheerfully before her eyes started to slide closed.
Kettil leaned and kissed Freya's chin as she kissed his nose, "Good night, Newá'sú'wet."
Soon after his eyes slid closed and eventually he was asleep.
