 Mori listening, nodding, "Oh, cute," murmuring under his breath as he thought about it. Smiling, "nice to meet you Kanade." Intrigued and hearing their mom was there or should be there too. He was feeling a little flustered now, Kirito's family some were here now.

Kanade stared at Mori because he was looking at a table. "You're funny mister. I'm over here." she said as she poked her finger against her cheek. Kanade was around 7 years old and Kirito's youngest sibling. He has more but they're pretty spread out. Not to long Kirito's mother came in. "Rito-kun! How are you doing?! You're doing right, right? Geez why would you pick a place like this to live? It's so much wood and bugs and the sun is hot against my skin." she complained. Kirito chuckled and hugged her. "Sorry mom, I've always been one to be in tuned with the wild." he said escorting her to a couch. "Um, Mom this is Mori. He's a patient of mine." he said. Kirito's mother looked at the boy. "What's wrong with him? He looks fine." she said. "Uhh, his sight is temporarily gone." he said, or at least he hoped it was temporary.

Mori chuckling lightly taking that good naturedly. "Yea, It's just I can't see anything really. So I can hear you though, I just don't know where you are." Taking a moment to sense her out and reached patting her head. Hearing Kirito with his mother, thinking to himself, yea he hoped it was temporary. It'd been maybe almost two months now he still couldn't see. "Um...I-it's nice to meet you." offering, since he just figured to say it.

Kanade smiled as he patted her head and walked over to him to sit with him on the bed. "Aha, you're funny." she said sitting on his lap. When he said hello to Kirito's mother she got up and just went to the kitchen. "Sorry Mori. My mother is a little cranky from being out here in the forest." said Kirito as he patted his shoulder.

Mori felt the bed shift as she sat with him. Smiling, "Ahh well glad you seem to think so." Chuckling. He got a little paranoid feeling like maybe Kirito's mother didn't like him was it. But then he explained, nodding, "O-oh...I see, that's too bad." That she was feeling cranky and whatever. He frankly saw it nice the forest the fresh air and quiet.

Kirito walked out to help his mother out in the kitchen. Kanade turned to Mori and placed her hand on his eyes. "So you can't see Mori-nii?" she asked. "What happened? Were you born this way?" she asked him.

Mori felt her hand over his eyes, closing them so he didn't get poked in the eye. Smiling with her curiousness. "Nope I can't see..." Adding as she asked her other question, "No I wasn't born this way, um it happened in a fire...someone tried to burn my home down with me in it...I got hurt but Kirito saved me."

"What why would they do such a thing! If it was me I'd beat them all up." she said moving like sh was hitting something. "Good think Rito-Nii was there then. He was always one to always-to always help people." she said stuttering a bit. At this age what kid doesn't stutter.

Mori sighing, "I...went against them when they tried to harrass some townspeople...so they came back later and did that..." Burned his place. And he had technically beat them up prior to that. Smiling at her stutter, it was kind of a cute little kid thing at times. Nodding, "I've noticed, hes really a good guy."

Kanade stayed quiet. She didn't hear him because he had not tuned in and was tuning into something else. "Uh oh. Mommy is mad." she said crawling to sit behind Mori and go under the sheets. Though she said that Mori would only hear silence. A few minutes later Kirito's footsteps could be heard and he gave a sigh. "Kanade. Why don't you go help Mom with planting vegetables?" he said. Kanade shook head and stayed behind Mori. He sighed again and sat down beside Mori. "Sorry if she's bothering you." he said wrapping one of his arm around his neck.

Mori didn't know what was happening, just what Kanade was telling him. Feeling her moving around and hiding under the sheets. Hearing Kirito soon as he commented about Kanade. "Oh, no it's fine, she's not bothering me." Smiling. He couldn't figure out where she was or he'd pat her head. Wondering if she'd come out from hiding. Talking to Kirito, "Is everything okay?"

Kirito nodded his head and sighed. "Nothing's wrong, my mom's just complaining." he said with a light chuckle. "Right now, she's just planting some fruit and vegetable she brought from home." he said as he looked for Kanade and wooshed her up from the bed and flinging her lightly in the sky. She giggled and her voice was a cute high pitch sound. "Waa~ Stop it Oni-chan!" she cried and hugged on to Kirito giggling still. "Mori, would you like to take a walk outside?" he asked holding his hand out to the blonde male.

Mori nodded, "ahh well, that stinks then..." not sure what to think of it, what she was complaining about. Hoping it wasn't about him. Listening, "Ahh that's nice," about the planting...maybe it'd calm her down anyway. Hearing Kanade as Kirito was doing whatever, chuckling with her laughing. He sensed Kirito's hand near him and reached out for it until he'd grabbed ahold. Smiling, nodding, "Yea, a walk will be nice." Standing after a moment.

Kirito smiled and held on to Mori's hand while holding Kanade with the other. As they all walked out the front door Kirito looked over to his mom. "I'll be back soon mother. We're gonna go get some groceries." he said leading Mori to the market. Kanade looked at the two and turned to Mori. Just staring at him. Even though he couldn't see he'd probably feel Kanade's eyes on him. "Mori-nii! Do you like my brother?" she asked bluntly.

Mori let Kirito lead him with he and Kanade. Taking in a deep breath as they got into the fresh air and the sun. He almost stumbled though caught off guard from Kanade. "H-huh, O-oh...w-well yea you're brother is a great person after all." Innocently thinking her question was just if he liked him as a person, not like like. He flushed though as that idea came to mind, would he admit that in front of kanade. He'd only just told Kirito his feelings last night.
