the chains slowly slithered into the ground and Daniel smiled. " they have us surrounded, they are testing our numbers and who the weakest link is. if you protect her kushin you will kill her. " Daniels eyes were closed he was letting the rain land on him but it was as if he felt them when they moved or even knew their numbers. " you see i was thrown into this forest about a year ago and trained for two months, when i came out i was much stronger. That is why vyral brought you here for the power you will need to learn and hold for the next time the school or your partner comes under attack." Daniel stretched as he smiled his skin crawling like something was alive under the flesh.

Zoey glared at Daniel. "you did NOT just say i was zhe weak link." she growled. "where are zhese beats? you are making a big deal out of what iz probably nothing"

Daniel sighed as the ground shook as if something was walking from the direction of the boulders thrown path the trees started to crack and brake. " they can understand English you know that right?" another boulder launched past the group as the trees cleared to expose a giant beast with fangs and strong limbs as it made a fist and spun at teh group with strength unmatched by human bodies.

quietly kunshin nods and stands up straight and take a step next to zoey as another boulder flies past "so do we kill them and eat their souls or torture them slowly. . "with that said a boulder comes flying directly at me. luckily i caught it but it pushes me back greatly engraving two lines leading to the boulder.

Daniel smiled as he slowly walked between the two, Daniels hand never reached to unsheathe his blade. " your both focus on this small one what about the larger ones? you cant just use sight feel them use your soul this area around you you small souls forms it may only be a few feet but that few feet can make the difference between life and death. my soul fills my whole domain and- " Daniel was cut off his eyes closed as he moved slightly the claws of a beast slashing and thrusting towards him each strike missing by a fraction this was the power of one who truly mastered their own soul. Daniel slid back his eyes still closed he flipped the beast over and thrusted down without looking his hand connected with the beast as the soul exploded killing the beast

kunshin pushes the boulder off of him "that s**t is heavy. . ." he says as he swipes dirt off of his clothes. . .agreeing with Zoey kunshin place his hands in his pocket and starts walking toward the green beasts

Vi smiled. "I'm alright. It was a head ache. The time of month is not on my side..." She spoke. "Also, I'm not going back. I either train or I would need to be dragged back." She felt normal now. Her medication was kicking in. "I shouldn't have any issues. I should be fine." She smiled like nothing happened.

Zoey followed went after one of the smaller beasts. she gulped, almost shaking.

vyral smiled at vi, as if to warn her. " this place can devour your mind if your not careful, so lets make haste your teacher has already started training the others i can feel him the energy he is wasting " Vyral stood and disconnected the chain from one of the staffs and snapped it out like a whip hitting the ground the soul strike exploded into the earth as the earth shook from beats in the training area.

Kunshin acknowledges daniel's on-combat lesson and tried to concentrate as he continue to walk closer. one by one the souls start to spark up like a lighter. seeing that he quickly notice that all of them go out and he open his eye. they were gone! "Wha-" and at the last second kunshin catches the soul of one directly above him and he jumps back narrowly dodging the claw. the speed and force the beast put into that attack amazed kunshin it made the samurai's that he fought seem like children. "ugh" he says as he lands and take two steps back to slow himself down

Daniel smiled, as he roared out over the beasts. " What are you doing?" Daniel kept moving and flipped over a beast sliding and he hit a hand stand 3 blades from beasts missed he as he landed a foot on it and flipped. Daniels eyes never opened his body never stopped. " Never stop your body keep moving a group of monsters wont let you recover they will never stop till your body is in shreds." Daniel was stressing the need for maneuverability in battle. Daniel knew the quickest path to test his new students skills was through combat they would think is life or death

Zoey attacked the beast and quickly jumped back, the beast only grazed her arm. She growled, slashing at it and dodging an attack.

as the first beast attacks kunshin with a barrage of slashes and dashes, he ducks and dodges every attack with easy until the beast dashes at him and he backs up into a tree, and just when he was about to jump up he senses another beast flying down at him from above. this time he had no way to avoid fighting especially with the speed this second beast was coming at him with and so he was forced to fight back. using the bark as support he pushes himself towards the first beast stepping on his face and off his face kunshin back flips and drop kicks the second beast into the roots of the tree. then turning around and landing a reverse back fist right in the first beast jaw, not finish kunshin drops low and jump up sending an flying knee making the beast head jerk back and just as the beast began to fall back i land on his shoulders and shove my hand into his mouth trying to pull his soul out.

Daniel shot to kunshin ripping the hand out as the beast snapped down. Daniel slammed his fist into the ground and a soul strike on a gods level shook the very earth the beasts running back into the forest. " tell me kushin to you value that hand?" the ran started to slam down again. " your body is your tool without propper training a tool can rust and become weak never stick it in a beasts mouth." Daniel sighed as he stretched. " tend your wounds training has just started. That was a very good warm up but it only get harder from here. " Daniel looked at his students he looked rested as if this hadn't tired him out.
