Sai blushes and her eyes widen at the sudden embrace from the harpy. Her ears slowly move back and she shyly leans into him as she feels waves of comfort flowing into her from the simple gesture. Her tail moves on instinct and softly brushes against the harpy every so often as she feels a purr start in the depths of her. The neko tries to hold back, but ends up allowing the soft purr seep through her and be heard. "Th-thank you..." Sai mutters quietly as her voice rumbles slightly with the cat-like sound.

Lazarus blushes as well, especially when he feels her tail brush against him and he notices that she's purring again. "Y-your purring is pretty cute too..." he admits and awkwardly lets go.

Sai blushes and looks away shyly, hoping he didn't feel awkward since it made her feel so much better. "U-um...th-thank you..." Her purr fading and her ears more forward now, she swishes her tail against him again.

"I-it was nothing," he shyly says and finally gives into temptation. He leans down and rubs her tail gently, blushing intensely as he does so. "I-it's soft... Just like I hoped..."

Sai blinks, surprised by the harpy's movement as he touches her tail, and smiles as she flicks it towards and away from his grasp. "H-hehe..." Her voice sounding like she may purr in amusement, though she doesn't let it take over this time.

Lazarus laughs a little as well, but he's also mortified at the fact that the neko seems to find this funny and probably cute. He doesn't go after her tail, like it seems she's trying to get him to do, and instead just stands there smiling like an idiot.

Sai finally smiles shyly and blushes more, laughing a little in her sweet voice. She let her tail stay by his hand after deciding to leave the play for a different time. The neko poked the harpy's cheek a little, feeling extremely nervous abolut it but wondering why he too, was looking embarrassed.

Lazarus looks around a bit, trying to think of something to say. "So..... What now?" he asks her as the situation rapidly becomes rather awkward.
