Ariane decided to try her luck again, picking another candy out of the jar. Unwrapping it, she was disappointed to find a candy - rather than a prize. Just as she was about to toss it away, the hunter realized that the minipet laying over the mouth of the jar was looking at it rather intensively. It then hopped off the jar, sitting up in what Ariane assumed was the minipet's version of 'beg'.
"Heh, not like I can eat this anyway," She rolled the candy between her thumb and index finger, and then tossed it at the Shadow Drutten, "Have at it."

The next candy she took out was also a real candy, and this time, the Drutten didn't seem to want it. With a shrug, she wrapped it back up, and tossed it into her pants pocket; who knew when it might come in handy again?

The slightly different shape of the candy that Thackery pulled from the jar this time indicated that it was probably a token, but he jokingly held it towards Kari regardless. She didn't even move - just narrowed her eyes into her best are you serious right now face and directed her attention to the collars once more. "She's really...finicky. I'm sorry," he apologized on her behalf. "If it were up to me, I'd pick them all!" Kari finally pawed two lace-trimmed ribbons from the display and stared expectantly up at the Cerberus. "I guess these, then! And um, it it's not too much trouble--" With a smile, he produced his pin from his pocket. "Could I get this emblem on a silver chain?"

Clove traded Maya a wrapped token for the green tea candy, then did the same for Ariane, chirping delightedly. Siddie smiled and ignored the shadow drutten's little side business in tokens. She had her own business to attend to. She took pictures of the emblems shown to her and uploaded them to the charm printer, and handed a shiny new collar to each customer in turn. Another try at the candy jar. Oh, was this the flavor that the shadow drutten liked? He smiled at the creature and gave it a pat on the head before giving it the green tea flavored candy.

The eyeball was a little too gross for Ren's tastes, and he made a face, slightly put out.
Oh, well. He'd try another and see if it was any better.
Except he didn't find a candy inside the wrapper, but instead something else.
