Ami was about to shout more obscenities at the zombie and the pink girl, but then she realized this mission was about stealth. She couldn't be found out as a hunter. She had to act like she was one with them. Be one with the creepy things.
She bowed slightly and said, "I'm sorry. My temper gets the better of me sometimes." She feigned a frown, like this actually upset her. If given the choice, Ami would punch a thousand minipets.
In a falsely timid manner, she sat down and began making a creature. Turns out sewing with claws was a LOT harder than sewing with claws. She was following the pattern, but it ended up looking like a bit of a monstrosity. She frowned and just left it on the table. Maybe if she made another one it would be better?

Chaya's clothes might not suggest that she had any kind of skill with a needle and thread, but ever since she was very young, her mamas had insisted she repair her own stuffed toys - and her stuffed toys were often in need of repair, as she tended to play with them very enthusiastically. So when she saw that the arts and crafts booth was offering materials with which to make plushies, she set to it eagerly.
Unfortunately, it seemed that one of the minipets in the booth thought it was a very cute toy that she was making. "Hey!" she protested, and pounced on the cluppy to wrestle her toy back, her tail wagging happily.

"Oh! Found them." The black snatched up the eyes that were on the ground. Though rather than stick them in where the 'eye sockets' would have been, he tossed one and stuck the other in the mouth, as though it were holding a ball.
"Here you go, Mei! Good as new!"

The rolling around and growling and wrestling had damaged the half-finished toy. Chaya attempted to repair it, but the result was ... welllllllll ... lopsided was probably the nicest thing that could be said for the plushie.
"I guess you can tear it up if you want to," she told the cluppy that had attempted to make off with her creation.

Frowning down at the mess of plushie in his hands, Thackery carefully began to unstitch it and try again. He was a little more deliberate with his actions this time around, but it didn't seem to do much good - the end product was vaguely cute, but looked like it might have come from a discount store.

Iyari wasn't keen on plush toys, but she did like making things. Grabbing hold of her supplies she began fusing them together into some sort of toy. It had been a wonder she had ended up here of all places, but she had been craving some sort of way to keep busy and here it was.
It was only after she backed off she realized how wrong she had been on the difficulty level of it. Staring awkwardly she sighed, pushing the little toy a bit. "At least it looks like something that Halloween folks would like." She told herself in a low voice.
Maybe she'd take another whack at it later.

Senga had never stuffed anything in his life, so this was going to be an adventure.
But really, how hard could it b ---<********!" Senga reeled away from the needle and growled, staring at his finger where a pockmark of red was swelling. Let it never be said that Senga was actually very good at this sort of thing. He only managed to get lucky this time around. Determination spurred him into poking holes into each and every one of his fingers, and when he was finally done, the stuffie was specked with red.
"Well."
He glanced at Iyari blandly, almost on the verge of don't you dare say anything at all.
"Well, you can't say I didn't try."

Only with a lot of time and effort could she even make something that resembled a zombie. At least, it was the best she could do, recreating images from Hollywood movies of zombies. Dawn of the Dead, things like that.
With her job accomplished, she slid both dolls over to the girls and waited. "Are these ... good?"

Quietly, Thackery set the first plushie away, glancing around to be sure that nobody could trace it back to him. Maybe they could just re-use the fabric to make something actually adorable.
He tried something a little more simple this time: just a pillowish thing that looked vaguely like a FEAR candy. Aside from pricking himself twice with the needle and singeing the edges of the fabric with heated blood, he felt like he'd done a fairly decent job this time.
He happily gave the plushie a pat and a good job, Thackery! smile.

Mei nodded once at the bakeneko. As long as she truly meant it, she held no ill will against the ghoul. Now if only she could get the minipets to behave themselves..
Her gaze landed on Tybalt's creation as he presented it to her. Almost doing a double take, she had to question this boil's mind. "Its an abomination. Burn it."

Having yet to visit the arts and crafts booth, Belladonna quickly made her way over. It was so bright and colorful and full of things to do! It was difficult for the witch not to just stand there for a moment and squee over her excitement at getting to craft while at Fright Night. It had been far too long since she'd really done anything of the sort, usually devoting herself to clothing instead.
And speaking of clothing... Well, she could sew together a little plushie!
Though, sewing a plushie seemed much different than sewing clothing, for whatever reason. It should have been the same, but Belladonna couldn't get her two patterns to match up for whatever reason and she accidentally put one eye on the back before she realized she'd put a tail there. Whoopsie...

But that's ok! She could always try again!
Grabbing up a new set of fabric, thread and set about trying this whole plushie thing again. Quick fingers made quick work, but they also made a lot of mistakes too. Once again the patterns didn't match up, the witch also kept running out of thread and by the time she had finished, it look pretty bad. The head was all sorts of lopsided, its arms didn't match in length and she'd accidentally sewn the eyes on the inside.
"Making plushies is haaaard..." The witch mumbled under her breath as she momentarily pouted.

Third time was the charm, right?
It always had been for the witch, so she figured one last one couldn't hurt. And even if it did, she'd just... Toss all three of them. Or keep them and study them obsessively until she got it right. Whichever came first, no biggie.
But of course, she still failed.
"This should not be this difficult..." She mumbled, but tossed all three plushies to the garbage can before she quietly mourned her failed ability to make a plushie.
