He was prepared. Carrol was going to rock this scrags like a hurricane. He held his hands above the maze. Off in the distance, a song began to play. The monster looked up. By the time he looked back down, the scrags was gone.

Back. Frost was ready for another round of attempting to not suck and actually stop the rats from escaping and making their way into the crowd. Plus, Yin might actually not be disappointed in him should he fail. He liked Yin, and liked the idea that Yin held him to a standard. Granted, the monster had told him that he could not be the best at everything, but when had that ever really stopped people from trying? Frost wanted to be the Alpha, he wanted to be the King.

Well, no. King was a fool's title. He'd prefer President or Alpha. Mostly Alpha. His nature liked that title much much better. Huffing, the wolfos gave Yin and Muka a nod before trying his hand again. First round, he passed. Just two more to go right?

The last one, Frost's gaze was focused. He was not going to let himself become distracted. He had just this last one and then he could go on to claim victory and puff his chest to Yin, (even if Yin did not offer ear scratches). It also meant he'd get a nice scrags snack. King hoped he could get that at the very least.

But alas, he would always come up short.

Nnngh.. not.. the scrags game.. again..

Freya had been congratulated, last time she was here. That was the only reason she'd returned again. She might have been good at it, but that didn't necessarily mean she wanted to touch the scrags again..

She decided to try to win the game as quickly as possible.

But it did not stay still, it continued to try and escape her grasp, and it got closer and closer to the finish line. Freya made one last, desperate lunge as usual..

And her hands wrapped around a wiggly, hairy, icky scrags. Again.

"I won please takes it away from me aaaaaaa-"

Oops! He lost his scrags, only catching a hint of a blur as it rounded a corner and took off down the path. Well, that scrags seemed especially eager to escape.

Thanatos was making his rounds around the booths, just taking a look at what the students had done; however, Biskoto insisted on him walking over to this particular booth. Once they were close enough, it did not take him very long to figure out why.

Knowing that she couldn't eat them, Biskoto decided to play the game instead; although he didn't say anything, the reaper thought that this reminded him of one of those 'Snake' games on an old mobile skelephone... Except that Biskoto wasn't going to grow longer, nor was she actually going to swallow the minipet. Just grab it in her jaws, and probably scar it for life. No biggie.

Since she was used to chasing down small minipets, the first round was no challenge for her.

Biskoto had lost track of the Scargs, and spent the next minute finding her way out of the maze, just in time to see the Scrags that she had been chasing being... Devoured... By some boil...

For a moment, the familiar just stayed there at the maze's entrance, looking wistfully at where the minipet was, right before it was captured by the student; to say that she wasn't envious of that Scrags-devouring student right now would be a lie, even if he did just give her the go-ahead to challenge Stage 3.
