Ami noticed this particular one had minipets galore. Aw yes, she was getting paid.

Then she noticed who was running the booth. The hair on her neck rose as she recognized the wolf boy from the haunted house, the one who had fought her so long ago. She gulped, trying to remain calm. At the moment, she wasn't Ami. She was June. A cat girl thing. She could do this.

Calmly, she approached the booth and asked for a race. Ami had always been physically inept, and running was no exception. In fact, Ami never ran, except when it was absolutely necessary.

But right now she wasn't Ami. She looked at Frost expectantly as she finished. She couldn't say anything- it would risk voice recognition. Maybe she couldn't run fast, but least she wasn't stupid.

Danny looked at the boil who had joined their conversation. "Wait, I have to take my shirt off now?" She scratched her head, thoroughly confused by his comment. "But you guys said to put stuff on. Which is it!" She stomped her foot a little in frustration. Either on or off, pick!

Leaning over to Yin, she whispered, "What's a fraulein?"

Ooh, snow? MORE SNOW.
Though racing through it wouldn't probably be as fun.
Regardless, she still tried. Never turn down a challenge, right?

... She never did learn her lesson.

Had Sylas gotten turned around? He was sure he meant to go to any other booth. Oh, well, he might as well do stuff while he was here. He tried the race again, but stumbled in the snow and didn't do as well this time as he had the last time.

Yin was still baffled at how well he had done when he had. He decided to try running in the snow again. This time however the start was delayed, and the longer he stayed in the cold the longer his body began to freeze up until finally he just fell over into the snow.

It could only be hoped that at some point someone rescued him, or he might have an opportunity to visit with Nurse Cricket again.

Yin might have been upset, but well...

"Speaking of trying you should come by my booth again." As he spoke through his blue-tinged lips his teeth clattered, but he still new which buttons he was pressing.

Harrison's experience with fortunes was always a little...more accurate than comfortable. He started out reaching in to draw the objects, and extracted a gleaming purple demon fang. Victory over adversaries. Hah.

He leaned over to collect his prize, when he realized he was supposed to draw three at once. He reluctantly put the fang back, and retrieved three other pieces instead.

A coin- that one was pretty straightforward. If he had to guess, he'd say the coin fit him best, and that was ultimately what he was after. He spun it. Victory. Wealth. And... the two other pieces. He smiled toothily when he read the description. Triforce, symbolizing something that was incomplete. Individually, anyhow. He'd drawn two pieces of a Triforce, and the third, well, hell, here he was. Not anything incomplete about that triangle.

It was a good way to start a quest.

He placed the objects back.

"Hey, Frost, right? You got any of those snowglobes?'

"Visiting, but thinking about it," Harrison said, "the boils here seem real nice." He looked at the box, and fished out two snowglobes, and held them up with a smile.

"Thanks. Trying to get stuff for that tart shop, they got some real cool pets but the guy said he'd be taking off in a while."

He carefully pocketed the snowglobes.

"...Good luck on your elections."

Well, the race was a flop.
Picking stuff out of a bag sounded MUCH more fun.

She picked a Farore gem, bone, and coin.
Hmm, what did these mean again?
