“You would speak to my father, The Sun Also Rises. Shall I take you too him?” The Killing Moon smiled warmly at their potential recruit, while giving Sunspot a gentle nudge of congratulations. “And forgive my manners, my name is The Killing Moon.”

Sunspot was almost bouncing on the spot from excitement. Maybe she would have a future on the recruitment team?

“He won’t mind at all, especially now than dessert has been served. He always has time for potential tribe members.” He took a step back, intending on leading the way. “As part of the tribe, you will get to eat even more wonderful and exotic foods.”

Sunspot took a step forward to press her nose against Wilted’s cheek. “I have to get back to work. I’ll see you after, okay?” If he was going to join up, they would have heaps of time to get to know each other. “Bye!” She bounced off, stumbled, caught herself, and continued cheerfully on at a slower pace.

Killing Moon smiled fondly after the doe and then nodded at Wilted. “Follow me, I will take you to Rise.” He said, as he began walking.

Rise knew his own children well enough to recognise their hoofsteps - he turned as he heard Killing Moon's measured pace and turned around, putting a bundle down. "Hullo son," he embarrassingly and affectionately touched his forehead with a nose, and directed his vision over the fabulous burning locks to see who came along. "And how may I help this good buck?"

Used to such displays of affections, Killing Moon dipped his head into the touch and the stepped back, to let his father see the buck properly. “His name is Wilted Leaves and he is interested in joining our fine establishment.” He grinned, nodding for Wilted Leaves to speak.

"The pleasure is mine, Wilted," Rise smiled back too, though interestingly enough, his was a little more conflicted. "I'm pleased to hear that you've had a good time tonight, it means the world to us, and Sunspot is such an earnest child."

It was when he lowered his head, and looked the buck gravely in the eye, that the reason his hesitation soon became evident. "I am always most happy to welcome new members to our tribe, especially those so enthusiastic about our food, but I've never really encountered someone similarly enthusiastic about our staff before..." He paused, believing full well that Wilted would understand his meaning, glowing eyes filled with concern - but even if he meant any sort of subtlety, it was lost now: "if you intend to woo Sunspot while working with us, please proceed with caution. She is like a daughter to me, and -" this a low, whisper, "her father is a Totoma, as are her siblings. One hoof wrong, and may the Motherfather be kind to you."

Having gotten this off his chest, he could finally bring himself to beam in his sunshiney way, straightening up to engage in the pleasantries. "That said, thank you so much for your interest! May I know what skills you might have, or what roles you might interested in?"

He kept his cool. "Rest assured, I would never dare even think of harming such a kind and helpful doe. And with a strong family, I would not have just her father to worry about." Wilted bowed his head.

"For skills I am rather fast, and I am strong when I need to be. I've traveled a bit in my life, but not enough to know places entirely well or with specifics." He thought a moment. "I've not really explored actual culinary skills, though I am a decent hunter... What fields might I be useful in with such traits?"

Suddenly acha.

Smiles had been quietly doing her job stuttering out the menu and getting food for those that had the patience to wait for her to finish. When in the blink of an eye, just as her legs were getting a short rest, there was a buck in front of her. A buck she only knew was, in fact, male because she'd seen the acha in the troupe and they were all female.

"C-ca-can I help you?" She squeaked it more than said it, but at least she'd only stuttered once. Acha were new and interesting to her. To bad meeting one meant meeting one.

It was good he was unfazed - it was sadly a taster of gossipy life in Rise and Shine. "and keep your mind on work," Rise teased, now relaxed. "I think we could start you in hunting, and you can try the others - we could run you in delivery a few times and you can see how you like it?"
