Marcus continued to sleep, still twitching every so often. Eventually he rolled onto his back with his face staring up at her and could now easily be seen that he had tears flowing as well as blood running down his chin from his lip. The images and visions got stronger the farther down the spiral road he went, though he forced himself to keep going, knowing that if he stopped now he would lose control again. Just stay calm Marcus, it's just illusions, none of it is real. He continued to think this as he ran, seeing things like his sister mutilated, or Nerine being blasted by him and turning to ashes. He could feel himself getting weaker the farther he went, but could tell that the way to beat the madness was at the end of the spiral road, so he forced himself to keep going.

Marcus sighed as he started to feel himself slowing down. I can't stop yet. I have to reach the end. He growled as he kept going, the images starting to shift to things he didn't want to see at all. He began to twitch more violently in his sleep, his face twisting slightly as if he was in pain.

Marcus seemed like he was going to puke in his sleep. He saw the end of the road for the first time, but couldn't tell what it was. He forced himself to keep going, his head feelin like he was about to explode. I can do it, I just have to keep going.

Marcus grumbled as he got rogue poin he could see what it was, but realized it wasn't something he wanted to see. He stood there for a few moments, breathing heavily and feeling like his body weighed four times it's normal weight. So this is what I need to either drive out the madness or control it huh? Figures I wouldn't like it. He sighed as he started walking towards it, feeling like he was walking towards his own execution. His body was finally still as looked calm for a change, laying there and breathing deeply and slowly.

Marcus sighed as he stopped in front of the image he was being shown and just laughed softly. He looked at what appeared to be a mirror, staring at his own reflection. In the reflection though, he could also see Nerine and watched as the two of them seemed happy. So in order to cure myself, I need her to help, but in what way? He reached out and touched the mirror, but instantly woke up and sat up. He stayed still as he just sat there, not moving except from breathing.
