SpacerMasamune could only sigh as he watched the Espada King attack Airisa, besides why her out of all the shinigamis here? Something in Airisa's attitude told her that she'd met Alter earlier. It didn't take much though for Masamune to decide that'd he'd intervene in their battle, he didn't want to fight the same combination of opponents again. Alter's attack didn't seem to have any affect on Masamune, there was only a flash of lightning before all was still. No-one else would be skilled enough to notice it though.
SpacerUnlike Masamune, Airisa had a little trouble with the attack. Hoping diligently around each of the veins, one scrapped past the hem of her skirt. "Urgh, I hate stuff like this," she complained as she jumped a mere meter off the ground on the last strike. She had seen Alter's sword moving in that direction but it interested her to test his strength, not that she wanted to be on the receiving end. Just before it would hit her, a hand caught it in mid-air.
Spacer"It's not very nice to attack the lady first," Masamune grinned with Alter's sword in his grip. The force from it had blown past, causing a dent in the earth but Masamune was uninjured. "You know what I think?" he asked, without waiting for Alter's reply, "One thing that we lack is communication." Letting go of the sword he landed lightly down below.
SpacerA pat on Masamune's back was Airisa's way of saying thanks. Though it was more like a slap. "Care to join this side anytime soon?" she asked, with a laugh. "Just joking." She'd hardly ever been outwardly on the same side as Masamune. Noticing Khairan's appearance Airisa gave a light wave to him, she wanted to heal his injuries but even though she wasn't serious about the battle in front of her, it would be rude to just dart off like that. Caleb watched the strange technique the apparent 'King of Hueco Mundo' used, and how Airisa maneuvered to dodge it. As much as she didn't like to admit it, she was a skilled fighter, and probably more capable than Caleb was. Though the surprise was the flash of lightning when Date protected her. That was completely out of character. The primera was just taunting and fighting with her moments ago. This troubled Caleb quite a bit, seeing as he didn't seem to be trying to kill Caleb or Kazuma, and now he was protecting another shinigami? So much was wrong in this situation that he couldn't begin to wrap his head around it. Instead he quietly slipped into the darkness where he wouldn't be a part of the fight until he was needed again. Or ideally, when the relic appeared.
Alter had stood still. "A sorrowful espada, that is one thing, but helping the enemy is another, now you will get to see her everyday now that your are no longer an espada, you will be stripped of your rank and forbidden in our territory after this." Alter said as he looked at Masamune in the eye, Alters eye being blood red, something none of the espadas ever saw, specially Masamune. Alter had discussed with other espada to get rid of Konoe and Masamune but he never went through with it. An act like this was the edge for Alter. With Alters free right hand, he formed claws of blood, they did not serve the purpose of cutting however. Alter was cunning and always thinking ahead, the tip of the claws of each claw would let out a drop of blood that will cause a explosion as big as the ones his vein caused when he would swipe at him, Alter would get his clothes damaged from being close to his own blast, his hardened blood protecting him from most of the damage. When he recovered from the attack in a instant, he would then form a blood chain out of his hands, multiple amounts of them attempting to grip his enemies then use the opponents own reiatsu to make it implode against them.

Even after such a hard battle, Khairan would still want to continue to battle for Soul Society, even though he is not in the shape to do it. Seeing how the battle goes, Khiaran would have to help, for Airisa's sake. Of course, leaving the fact that Date is helping her. Khairan turns to Airisa, seeing how she is handling her battle. With no choice, Khairan stands up, resisting the pain of his pain. "I'll fight...", Khairan spoke, but he coughed right after. He did say, but he didn't even have the strength to draw his Zanpakuto. Standing up, but staggering as it is, Khairan would try his best to scan how the enemy is. Khairan can't seem to get anything, but only his strength it is. In this kind of situation, Izanami, his Zanpakuto, would appear beside him. Stopping him by supporting his body, since Khairan can't move, she would once again speak to him. "Khairan, you have no place to battle here. Even if you were to be healed, you can't handle that guy.", Izanami spoke, advising Khairan not to go. Khairan turns his face, breathing heavily. "I-I can't...", Khairan tried to say what he wanted, but he couldn't, as the draining of his blood from the previous battle has to made Khairan so weak he can barely speak. Losing his consciousness, Khairan would see the back of Airisa before he fade to darkness, and faint. Thanks to Izanami being there, Izanami is the only one who is capable of helping Khairan. Now they watch the battle, unable to battle as they speak.
SpacerSeeing the look of surprise on her fellow Captain's face before he disappeared, Airisa asked him or rather asked the position where he had disappeared, "Are you alright?" But as soon as it left her mouth she realised something that could've caused that reaction from Caleb. "You're probably wondering why Masa 'protected' me right? It's an easy explanation, he's--" SpacerMasamune almost wanted to laugh at Alter's declaration, but decided against it, he still had his own mission to fulfill. "I haven't helped the enemy, in fact, if you're referring to Koneko-chan," he said pointing a finger towards Airisa who was saying something to the fire-wielding Captain, or where he had been, "She's--"
"--the only person I'll ever lose to!" both finished at the same time. They looked at each other before reinstating the thing they'd wanted to say but didn't because they were caught up in the moment, "Eternal Rivals."

If I lose to you, you can deal with me as you wish, but if I win..." he smirked, but decided to leave it hanging. The Espada King's stare did nothing for Masamune, the man's eyes were merely red, and not even the same mystic red as Airisa's. Clearly he'd just avoided a catastrophe by fighting Alter instead of Airisa fighting him. To the naked eye it appeared as if all of the explosions had made contact, only the first one did, leaving him with a light burn since by then he had transformed into an astral body but the smoke covered it up perfectly. SpacerBeing the pacifist she was on the surface, Airisa had the foresight to move as soon as Alter's claws came out. Masa's words were clearly a statement to her that this fight wasn't hers anymore, which she was glad of. By the time the first drip made contact with the ground, Airisa had already shunpoed far enough to only see and smell the smoke and not be caught in it, leaving a Danku in her place. "Don't push yourself, Khairan," she sighed, turning her gaze off the battle, knowing it was no longer hers. "This lady is?" she asked when she saw the female beside Khairan, she had a feeling but she wanted confirmation. Once she confirmed her identity, she'd then ask to heal Khairan. "Care to join us while the Espadas duel it out?" she shouted over to where Caleb had been and where Kazuma was close to. Spacer

With Alters Ominous vision, he saw how Masamune managed to escape most of those explosions. Alter's blade had gone missing, as soon as it was out of sight, he used dimension step to move it to a unknown location, Alter had to make the right guesses if he wanted to use this planned attack. With both his hands now freed, he would then have to 'play' a little to get Masamune and Voltaire into the wanted location. All Alter needed to do was draw their attention to him and buy some time. Alter heard Masamunes saying, it was now Alters turn to hold a laugh, he did successfully. would attack Masamune with weak attacks to draw his time, every moment he had, he would explain to the prime that he did not care for Konoe as well and even planned to have her killed later in a mission, saying that his real espadas are his possessions and the fake espadas are the ones who threatens his goals. SpacerClearly Alter was underestimating Masamune, and it wasn't just in the obvious manner. Something that was out of plain sight wasn't necessarily out of Masamune's 'sight'. "Done already?" Masamune taunted as he emerged from the smoke in his normal form. He wanted to see what if this tyrant was true to his words, or just a conceited fool. Alter thought something was up, if Masamune was really one of "them" surely he would of thought Alter suspicious. He successfully played his poker-face, not revealing his wonder. "A mist user...I fought one of those before." Alter said, he ripped his skin from his arm and spinned around at blinding speeds, causing the skin to continue to regenerate and wrap around Alter. The skin eventually was completely hiding Alter inside, the spinning would cause winds to blow at all directions pretty hard, then at a few seconds, millions of feathers of blood would aim as Masamune, the wind from the feathers blocking sounds, Alter intended for this to specifically block or lower sounds from Voltaire, the last thing Alter needed was her informing Masamune about this technique, or at least what she knew. The feathers after going at all the directions would stop and stay still, if Masamune would touch it or become tangible, the blood would became sticky on him or particles of the moving mist, allowing a slight disrupted flow of his mist. SpacerHearing Alter's words just made Masamune slightly confused. Where on earth did the mist user come from? he wondered, probably Alter was one. Either way, Masamune didn't like the idea of being touched by the Espada King's blood. It felt as if evil itself touched him, of course not 'that' evil. As the feathers surrounded him, Masamune quickly changed into his lightning form. "Question 1," he began before vanishing, and reappearing in front of Alter within an instant, "What does it take to be a king?" he finished as his lightning infused fist swung towards Alter. It wasn't a serious punch since no damage would be done, but Alter didn't know that. Spacer
Alter had failed to answer his question, the lightning users were quite annoying to him, the constant flow of accelerated blood did not let him hear most of the questions, as by the time Alter had toned it down all he heard was "king". Alter saw the punch, almost completely on sync, he managed to block it with his right hand, forming a simple fist and pointing it up, not really moving, embedding his blood with electrical properties. To Masamune, it might of looked like Alter was underestimating him, but Alter was actually very wise, cunning, sly, and clever, something his opponents can seriously suffer for if they were not smart. His hardened blood had taken effect on his entire body in case Masamune had planned to counter. If Masamune did counter, Alter would use Dimension step at that instant to swap them so Alter can instead, punch, once again it looked as if he was underestimating him. Alter anticipated that he might dodge it by becoming intangible, if he did, the Alter would explode and leave at least a little amount of blood that would became sticky on the lightning substance, using electrical properties to follow Masamune, or his lightning at least.
If Masamune did not counter, Alter would grip his hand and explode, revealing the true Alter checking up on his other espada, healing some of Jingeru's wounds, he was still in no condition to battle but Alter did not want his espadas dying. Either way it went, Alter was still healing the other quickly before using Dimension Step to go into the battle. Alter stared at Masamune to wait for his attack, Alter had no intention of getting serious unless he got serious as well, that and "it" was almost completed, it needed more time. Masamune as well as the others would easily be able to sense a unusually large amounts of reiatsu nearby, strong wind currents blowing from the east-west. "Ah" spoke Kazuma with a sigh as he heard the 13th captain, "guess there's no choice" Kazuma continued as he preformed shunpo toward the location of the 13th captain. "Feels like I just mess an epic chapter" remarked Kazuma in his head, feeling as if he had messed something due to inactivity. "Oh well" thought Kazuma, "it seems like a gladiators duel, or from my perspective he's showing us what this espada's ability are" spoke Kazuma as he appeared in front of Airisa.
"So care to explain, Miss Airisa Voltaire" spoke Kazuma with the most ominous smile in a way that only Airisa could hear. "He might be primera, he might have had been holding back against Masterson and I but he definitely can't win against a monster like that" Kazuma continued, " I'm more surprised that he can still move after being poisoned, surely he's a monster among men but how long will that last? So tell me what you know about both Masamune-san and that God of a monster he's fighting with, and don't skimp on the eternal enemies part" Kazuma spoke, he was the type of person who when he wanted to sink his fangs into something, he would sink them in.
