Kitty giggled, tossing her head slightly. She sat forward slightly, then leaned backwards, doing a back handspring through the solid oak back of the chair. "What Vincent means, is that everyone's mutations, everyone's powers, are unique to them. Hence it means that our abilities will evolve and change differently for each person. In my case, for example, my primal instincts began overriding my normal intelligence, resulting in bursts of primal actions similar to that of a wild animal. Unfortunately a serum I created to treat those actions caused my human form to change into the form before you," Hank said with a smile. "They're right... our powers are unique to each person, though how they evolve is anyone's guess. For example, my ability to shift between my feline form," Akumi said as the prismatic aura swirled around him like flames before fading to reveal his human form, making Kitty gasp. "And my human form... or your wings and whatever other abilities you have. It seems I am able to sense the wavelength of energy these gemstones put off within a certain amount of distance, though it seems others also feel whatever energy they put out," he said as he landed just behind Professor Xavier.

Twila nodded. "But its possible for people to have the same powers right? Like Jean and... the principle can read minds and stuff... and your blue and there's another blue person..." twila said and smiled nervously. She really needed to remember names better.

Xavier smiled slightly. "You're right that it is possible for two people to have powers that on the surface seem the same, and while Jean and I are both telepathic, she is also telekinetic, able to move objects with her mind, where I am not; as for Kurt, he has been 'blue' since birth, and I don't mean sad as in 'blue'," he said with a slight smile. "We have found that it is possible for two people, such as Kurt and Amanda, who can both teleport, to have in essence the same powers, yet they take very different forms," Hank said A burst of bluish purple smoke materialized before Kurt's blue furred, three fingered form materialized. Almost the moment his feet hit the floor, a flickering burst of light materialized as a blond haired girl with sky blue eyes appeared.

Hank cocked his head. "Anyway, we need to make sure that you and Akumi..." he said, to which Akumi nodded slightly. "You want to make sure we're healthy, hai?" he finished for the older mutant-teacher. Hank smiled. "Yes, that's right," he said with a chuckle. "Fortunately the basement has a medical facility, though it may surprise you in its appearance," he said as he stood. Akumi walked quickly to Twila before he spoke quietly. "I'll go with you and him if you feel uncomfortable... and to be honest, I feel wary of them myself," he said quietly.

Twila blushed abit "Will you come along...?" She asked. "I never liked doctors offices...." she muttered looking at the ground.

Akumi smiled faintly. "I don't mind... and with my experiences, I trust doctors less than anyone else," he said softly, matching her tone.

Twila looked abit confused but nodded. "On the bright side... we might get a sticker for being good." She giggled nervously trying to lighten up the situation abit.

Akumi smiled faintly. "Maybe..." he said softly, shifting slightly. He shifted slightly more, noticing the gemstone in his hand before it glowed before fading away; He blinked, noticing a tiny golden spark marking on his palm.

Twila looked surprised "now stones have magic powers.... wait can animals have powers too?" She asked "like cats or dogs?"

"Not that we've found, though anything is possible; the Avengers have an Asgardian god on their team, so to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me that much," Xavier said as Jean stood. "I'll go with them to keep them company," she said with a smile. "I get the feeling she's gonna look at us like younger siblings, if anything," Akumi muttered, nudging Twila slightly with a faint half smile.

Akumi snickered slightly as Hank and Jean headed towards the door. "I never had any, so I can't comment," he said with a shrug. "Although if I did have a sister, I wouldn't mind you too much," he said in a low tone, barely above a whisper.

Akumi sighed. "What, like anyone else? I think the only ones I could probably get along with would be Ororo, you, and maybe Jean... anyone else I'd probably find irritating after a while," he said with a shrug. He had nothing against mutants as a whole, yet there were some of those here that reminded him of only half remembered memories, none of them pleasant.
