"Not at all." he lied nonchalantly. It bothered him a bit, but the resurfacing memories of his younger sister doing the exact same thing restrained him from saying otherwise. "Hmm, a rather brief ride." Killian commented. Looking ahead, he was just as astounded as the others at the size of the base. "Yeah, this definitely isn't going to be an easy feat by any means."
Abilities: + Skilled Combatant + Soul Resonance: Can synchronize soul wavelength with meister. By doing so, together they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle. + Shredder: Spinning the scythe above the user’s head like rotor blades, lifting him/her, and surrounding enemies, higher into the air before a whirlwind of blades that slash at surrounding enemies. + Feed: Killian becomes powered with energy when striking enemies continuously. Once fully charged, Killian is able to do double the damage with all attacks. + Senrigan: An ability used to quickly map out an area, linking together the vision of multiple individuals. This technique works by allowing its user to see far ahead of whomever he is synchronized with. This can be used at long distances, but the greater the distance there is between Killian and the individual he is synchronized with, the less he is able to see at their location. + Earthquake: By driving the weapon into the ground, Killian is able to send out a traveling shock wave forward.

As it appeared as though the time for them to do battle, was approaching, Despair, whether intentionally or unconsciously, started to elevate his soul wavelength, but for now, it was at an level where only a certain powerful few, could even sense it, excluding those who were aboard the ship, since they were already in such close proximity to him. To all of them, Despair's wavelength would be something akin to miasma. It would linger over them all and give off this thick, heavy feeling. Making it hard to breathe, of course his unique purifying aura would also become more potent, because of this, even the strongest of opponents would be somewhat affected by his presence. Glancing over at Emma, Despair smiled, "Thrilling, isn't it? The thought of slaughtering your enemies, seeing their blood spill unto the floor. This is the true nature of demons."
"Easy, no. Difficult, more fun." Nasiga smirks heavily while cracking her knuckles nice and good. "I'm ready to break some bones, crack skulls and make them die from blood loss." She said to Killian already pumped up for some action now and since they're getting close, she could feel the tension. Until her confident went down from the lack of any air and fan herself from the energy. Stupid Despair, keep that crap down, is he trying to get them detect easily.

You are giving us away." she told him before looking at the headquarters. "We had issues finding that thing?" she muttered under her breath. You would think a nearby town would have heard it... or seen it... and then report it to Lord Death. Then again, it seemed like the Machinist Order was a scary group so there was most likely a threat over everyone's heads to keep quiet or else. She was still puzzled as to how to fight these guys. Since the one girl that attacked Mirai was able immune to her attacks, that meant that there were some beings in there that were immune to at least one being. So was someone in there immune to all non-humans? She frowned slightly and her ears pinned back as she was deep in thought about this whole group. ☾
Hearing Emma, Despair would give her a slight smile, as she was standing behind her dear, beloved, Herald. "Don't worry, little cat. I have such control over myself that even this miniscule amount can not be sensed, but if it will ease your worries-" stopping mid-sentence, Despair took that brief second to lower his wavelength, to the point that it was barely even traceable. "There, does that help you?" he asked both her and Nasiga. Looking back at Emma, Despair noticed her ears and how they were pinned back, "Something troubling you?" he asked.
Killian chuckled as Nasiga continued to reveal more of her playful nature. "I certainly could help you with such a task, Nasiga." he commented, playing along with her. So far, he felt comfortable talking to only Nasiga. After all, he wasn't as acquainted with the others, it would feel out of his comfort zone. Talking to others at all without a need to was already out of his comfort zone.

The ship glided slowly around The Machinist Order headquarters, giving the mobile base a wide berth. "We can't get much closer without alerting it," Captain Rachel informed the group as she strode back out on-deck. Herald frowned as he looked over the edge of the ship. "I didn't realize it would be moving....still...there has to be some way. The others should already be at the base; they'll be waiting for us to show up and start trouble. They won't be able to keep The Machinists occupied forever..." He rested his elbow on the railing and his chin on his hand as he looked down at the base, lights glittering in the distance. Cathy suddenly grinned. "I have an idea!" She said before turning tail and disappearing below deck. Several minutes later she returned holding a dark orb. It looked like it had been broken apart at some point. Cracks spider-webbed across the entire surface. "We managed to put this back together! After we made sure we knew how to turn it off....if we're desperate it might come in handy now though!" Captain Rachel T. shook her head. "You've got to be joking.""It could work!""It could kill us.""Yeah maybe, but we're good! We can avoid it!" Herald looked back and forth between the two pirates, obviously confused. "What is it?" He asked. Cathy grinned mischievously. "Reinforcements," she replied. "It calls a giant monster," Captain Rachel clarified.

Her ears twitched and she looked at Cathy as she took off and came back with a orb. She glanced between Cathy and Rachel as they spoke. "As long as it can help us it is fine. What is the monster?" she asked curiously. ☾
As Emma and the others spoke among one another, a sudden red flash of light appeared above them as Max landing in front of them. Hey guys, what are you all doing here? He asked with curiosity as he looked around realizing he was on an airship.
