Kiwi wasn't about to give up, battle was in his very essence. The Famine soldier launched foward and bit one of the squid's many tentacles, landing a nice blow, and a worthy moan from the beast.

Room 28Taima cast an eye towards the beat-up minis in the corner before turning her attention back to the squid. This was food; how hard could it possibly hit? She swooped down to scratch it with her tiny talons and found that it could hit her just as hard as she could hit it. Room 28The adrenaline that she had felt earlier was nearly gone. The comfort she had felt in seeing what wounds she had inflicted on the creature that she was so proud of only moments earlier... suddenly she wondered if she had been doing any good at all. Was it possible to turn around and run through the rooms so he could leave? Could Wilson do that? The treat sighed and tried to scratch his head with a tiny paw. Well, leaving these other minipets to take care of the squid would be awfully rude of him. Tentatively, he scurried up to the giant creature and whacked it with one of his arms. It was easy for the squid to retaliate by smacking Wilson with one of its tentacles. The treat fell backwards and rubbed at his mask. “Ow.”Stats Wilson Hopkins HP: 22/30 Faction: Hunter Element: Normal Total boss damage: 58

For a while, the gukumatz continued to stare at the squid. While Jay liked to fight like any other war horsemen, she wasn’t exactly a horsemen at the moment. Now, she was this gukumatz thing. She was a minipet. She didn’t have her weapon with her. She didn’t have her usual strength and abilities that she was so familiar with. Her wings rustled before she eventually sprung up and leapt toward the squid and gave it a headbutt. Too bad the headbutt kind of gave her a headache. Kiwi is in room 28.
Kiwi was struck by a tentacle as it came round him from behind. Turning sharply however, he bit back, sinking his tiny teeth into the end of the squid's limb.

Danny growled at a tentacle that came near and it actually backed off. Not bad!
Shun was saying to back down. She pouted. "I'm good, really!" Not really. But that was okay!
Okay maybe it wasn't okay. She wobbled and fell back onto her hind legs. With an ashamed look, she padded over next to Shun. "Maybe I'll just uh ... sit here for a little while." Other minipets seemed to be filing in to take over their fighting job. Vixi woke up with a start and whirled around the unfamiliar room. She wasn't in the Celestial Plains at all. Where is... oh, right...
"Should I be... dead?" She thought sadly.
"Maybe I am dead and I'm going to be doing this forever... Vixi opened the nearest door.

He continued to rub his face. Okay so not technically his face it was actually his mask, but the feeling was the same. Wilson shook his head and stared up at the squid. He stood back up and again whacked the squid, except this time the hit wasn’t as strong as he would have liked it.
