The battle coming to a sort of calm, Heidla felt the gripping rage letting her heart go. She tweaked her head and looked around. Familiar faces, all twisted with battle feelings of anger and fun and enjoyment. She nodded in recognition: "Hope you're enjoying yourselves, Famine clan....There's enough fear for all of us", her voiced throbbed with hatred and impatience. After all, she seemed to be growing too meek-hearted, it was a good chance to prove to herself she was still strong.

Hells bells, Tori thought in pain as the light had touched her even as she had tried to avoid it. As this type of pain just reminded her of the time when they were being crushed to death by Conquests gravity. But the lifer did listened to what this horsemen was say.
Tori started to growl, as she would never bow to the likes of them, not now not ever. She would rather die then be a coward to bow to them since they were just stupid creatures that just needed to die forever.
Glaring at any horsemen that looked her way as Tori stood back up and didn't not moving to kneel even if it caused more pain. As she wasn't going to bend to there will not ever.
Aklin murred since he couldn't protect his hunter with there shield gone.
I will. She replied breathing deeply staying were she was and waiting to what was going to happen next.

Cass wasn't paying attention to Candace - not entirely. Her attention was everywhere as she tried to listen to the older woman, then she'd look up at the being who stood before her - the new killer gravity monster from the clan of Conquest. He now stood where the one who had nearly killed her previously had before.
He was now the one holding that field in his hand.
That pressure.
That potential to buckle that she could possibly never return from. Even in her head, Nicodemus could not offer much comfort for the situation. Cass's mind was going everywhere, and she had a rather high potential to panic underneath the stressful situation she was being put into. Sure, she handled most stress well, and so far she'd handled this beautifully, but....
There wasn't much for her to try and work with. No buffer, nothing.
Cass took a deep and shaking breath as she looked into Invictus's blank, unchanging face: "I do not fear you." It was a lie, every word reeked of her terror, yet she forced herself to stay tall and not look away.
Not even as the Protector's hand squeezed down tighter on her head, as his nails dug into her skin, his thumb slicing through the flesh of her temple like it was warm butter and blood began to drip down it.
Not even as that one tear - pure fear - slid down her cheek.
She was going to die.

Tseng finally frowned when Candace spat blood. Both at himself and at his Death friend here. A small smile soon returned though when the priestess requested him to cut open her shirt. "Alas! I have but a bow, not blade! It's not much use for slicing things open I am afraid. But if m'lady wishes I can find another way of seeing what lies beneath," he offered. Or perhaps she had a blade of her own that she could use for that very purpose. "Well perhaps we can try removing one of her shoes to do that. Wouldn't that be something!" despite what he had said he went on and summoned his weapon anyway. He drew his bow, aiming the arrow straight for her knee thigh, " But really look at your friend. Kneel now before I force you down. Good plan! I say."

The pain was agonizing-- excruciating, even-- but she was still alive. Her eyes, glazed over with pain, shut tightly, tears leaking from the corners. Clerise chewed on the insides of her mouth, bearing the pain without a cry.
{[ We are strong. Sit tight, sweetheart. ]}
Clerise laughed, hysterical, fingers digging into the dirt. We aren't, though. We aren't, we aren't. It hurts.

The battlefield had been an unfamiliar flurry of movement. Of war, of something greater than he.
Konstantin did not try to analyse it. Instead, he gritted his teeth, grinding his molars together as waves of pain coursed through his veins.[syntax.error@K.BASHMET ~]# :( [syntax.error@K.BASHMET ~]# mode compartmentalize_

Unable to grasp what his weapon meant, the trainee simply writhed on the ground, letting out the occasional whimper of pain, like a wounded dog.
He thought of rainbow scarves and promises gone unkept.

Senga's eyes flickered from the remnants of the chaotic battle around them to Marcus when the other talked again, calling out to a blond not so far away. His expression turned sickly cold, devoid of the hot bloodlust that had filled him in the middle of the fray. It wasn't until after Jay appeared and kicked him down that the wolf even moved to react, his studious gaze only breaking to turn to Jay for a moment, inclining his head, making sure she was okay. "Hello again." His need for smiling had abandoned him alongside the hotblooded lust, "have you soaked your blade enough yet, Jay?"
He turned his attention back to Marcus though, not caring to hold her gaze for an answer that might be staggered with repetitive words and delightful chirps. It was fascinatingly strange how prideful these humans were, fighting for a cause that he felt rather useless. But he wasn't on their side, and he certainly didn't understand their ways. Uncurling his wings, the wolf stalked forward, crouching in front of the other and reaching to dig his claws into Marcus's torso, sharp nails scratching at flesh hard enough to hurt. It was almost unsaid command not to kill them, not yet, and even if he was allowed just one -- would it satisfy the pain in his core?
"You humans are so stubborn." He said quietly, his breath broken by a quiet growl. Stubborn and fighting a useless war. His wings ruffled, and his grip tightened, the skulls clicking hollowly together as the voices began to speak up within his head. Monsters, monsters, monsters, They chided him gently, will you kill them all? His lips thinned, and his pupils seemed to dilate, swallowed by the gold. "I can smell the fear radiating off of you." His head tilted, his eyes lowering to Marcus, "are you afraid of death?" He turned to look at the blond boy then, the one that the hunter had called to before. "Or seeing the others you care about die?"
It was a stupid answer, not even meant as a taunt.
And if he knew anything at all about these humans, and emotions in general, the answer wasn't one or the other. It was both.
But humans - well, - they never failed to surprise him.

Ofelia was. . . .maybe getting pretty glad that she hadn't attracted any attention. The others who had been loud were getting kicked and beaten, things she didn't really approve of, and perhaps against her better judgement she decided to . . .well, yell out? She seriously doubted it would do anything though except maybe get an arrow into her torso.
Thankfully she'd be saving Candace from an arrow to the knee which, she knew from experience, could be rather painful.
Pushing herself upward, at least enough so she was squatting rather than laying flat on her stomach still, Ofelia pressed her hands into the ground for balance and looked over at Tseng and Candace and the other with them.
Her mouth opened and the level of smarts she had flew out the window. "HEY PONY BOY, how come ya gots a weapon? Can't ya jus' kick like the horsie yer supposed ta be?"
Maybe if she suddenly just dropped down they wouldn't notice it was her, but seeing as she was squatting and the yells came from her area, whelp. Ofelia lived a good life, for now. The fear of the situation still hadn't settled in, the talks with everyone still hadn't settled in. Rue's voice wasn't echoing anymore.

Emerging into this strange new world has rendered Mimsy entirely useless. She was not really cut out for fighting, but she was willing to do what she needed to do, so attacks were parried and returned and the enemies all kept at a safe distance.
But her mind wasn't on attacking. She was amazed by the way the foreign creatures worked: how their muscles rippled like a human, how they moved like a human, how they fought like a human. Yet...they weren't. Not even close.
Her skin tingled with excitement. She wanted to see how the insides worked too. Did they respond well to trauma? What sort of elasticity did their minds have? How far could she push before she broke them? The buzz of the endless questions filled her head, louder than the clash of battle, nearly drowning out the noises of disgust Svensyl made at her thoughts.
Eyes that were wide with wonder closed quickly in response to the blinding light. They clenched shut in response to the searing pain that followed.
<Snickersnacksnickersnacksnickersnack~>
It was the stupid weapon's stupid singsong rather than the pain itself that made her retch. She swallowed the taste of bile, sneering up the woman in front of them. Her fist pressed itself into the ground beneath it, knuckles bloodying from dull frustration. Stand. She wanted to stand. Why couldn't she stand.
"Your request for our submission," she began, choking out a hoarse laugh, "Is a painfully obvious pining for power that you lack. Anything with real power over us wouldn't need to beg for our compliance." Her voice didn't carry well, audible to only those closest to her, still quieted from the remnants of pain.

She was just about to her feet when a blade pressed closed to her neck. Candace froze, eyes wide and breath caught in her throat. And then she demanded the other horseman check her shirt. Candace snorted. "Why can't I ever keep my shirt on around you things." She couldn't help but chuckle, at least until she heard Cass' voice. Candace looked to the two again. Her heart stopped for a moment at the sight of blood. "NO!" She shrieked, roaring with rage. She shoved at the arm that held the scimitar, pushing herself desperately to get at the Conquest horseman. "CASS! CASS LISTEN TO ME! SAY IT! ******** SAY IT!" Why wasn't Cass listening to her?! "Cass do it say the name of our home come on Cass please Cass just three little words and you're safe at home we'll have you checked out CASS LISTEN TO ME!"At the contemplation to remove her shoes she turned a dark, snarling look to Tseng. "Don't you touch Atropos. I will not kneel." A pause, her snarl became a sweet smile. "Unless it is on your face. Blades out."

She hated them, those humans, who her kind, time and time again Empire after puny Empire offered power, provided strength, magic, every single thing their little human hearts desired and yet they always wanted more. She could crush them, each and every one of them - her foot moved one step forward towards the defiant insects- she would end this here and now, crush them in a single blow-
- When the sky itself churned, rippled, and crackled, breaking into a thousand pieces.
They were back in the forest where one very familiar Sun Hunter lead was currently wielding one very large and slightly-familiar sword weapon. "Sorry about that," Allan began, almost sheepishly, more like his old self. He walked around the large gash on the ground that his weapon had paved that had literally shattered the spell, the illusion, though not at the expense of bowling most of the trainees over with the horsemen. It was all serious business from that point forwards though, as he pointed his weapon at the High Priestess, "As you were saying?"
'Allan....sir!' That was Mark, over the headset, on a public channel where all the trainees could hear, 'Just distract them for a second longer, we'll have the barrier set up in no time, most of the Fear is coming from the mirror, which um, seems mostly sealed just hang tight and-'
"Oh, the mirror is it?" The sword pointed towards the large portal, still shimmering slightly, cracks now thick on its surface.
Everything else seemed to happen almost in a slow, painful, very agonizing motion as Medea moved forwards, shouting something that very much sounded like a very loud 'NO', the same time Mark's voice on the headset said something like the words - 'unstable reaction'-
- In a single swing, the portal shattered, thousands of pieces neatly glistening on the ground, almost anti-climatically.
- "trigger a trap." Mark finished lamely.
This would be the last thing the trainees and the horsemen would hear as the fragments of the mirror glowed, howled- and then consumed them. OOC: MOVING THREADS ALL CHARACTERS MUST NOW ROLL A 4-sided dice. IF YOU ARE A HUNTER OR HORSEMEN YOU MUST DO THIS. You can post a reaction post if you want - EVEN IF YOU HAVE NOT POSTED IN THIS THREAD YET, it is assumed YOU WERE HERE if you are a HUNTER OR HORSEMEN. MAke sure you roll a 4-sided dice and post a reaction post. - IF YOU ROLL A 1 YOU ARE NOW HERE- IF YOU ROLL A 2 YOU ARE NOW HERE- IF YOU ROLL A 3 YOU ARE NOW HERE- IF YOU ROLL A 4 YOU ARE NOW HERE

The Protector didn't flinch away as the hunter spat at her, eyes merely closing for a moment. After that, there was a flash of heat, a flicker of steam, and the moisture was gone. She didn't even lift a hand to touch where Ceres had spat -- instead, Eris merely allowed her eyes to slide open again, her smile becoming almost sweet in nature as she stroked beneath the girl's chin.
"Oh, you misunderstand, sweetling. Romans, Greeks, they are the same to me. Eris. Discordia. It boils down to strife. They gave me my name, and for that, I loved them dearly, and drove them to ruin~"
At her expression turned mockingly sympathetic, her lips pursed a little as she gave the girl a sad, pitying look.
"They all died in the end. While I and mine are still alive."
At this, she let her hand slide from beneath Ceres' chin, settling to cup her cheek, the pad of her thumb stroking along her cheekbone. It was then that her eyes grew cold, and the heat began to build in her hand, beginning to burn the hunter's skin. "Make no mistake, little Demeter -- I have been alive far longer than you ever will. And I am still young, for my kind. You may die here -- that is Mengyao's will, not mine -- but should you survive, take comfort in the fact that unless you kill me, I will outlive you. And I will kill far more of you than you can possibly imagine."
Letting go of the moon hunter, she turned to bow again to Mengyao before returning back to Bix, giving him a swift kick to shove him into his back and seating herself on his stomach, stroking his hair out of his eyes almost fondly.
"As for you, Fire Archer... perhaps I should keep you as a pet. I could subject you endlessly to the fire you so love~ what do you think? Would you like that?"

This red one was a loss, clearly mad. Leaving Rep to his laughter, what ever little it might do for him in the face of death she moved to the young conquest Horsemen. She watched calmly as the whole scene continued to play out, as she shouted at them.
"We could chop the shoes off... at the ankle?" She lifted a single axe flipping it easily in the air before catching it again. Before looking up as another shouted towards them.
Moving towards Ofelia the horsemen flipped the axe again, "Kick?" The wings snapped wide as she pivoted bringing a heel across the hunters cheek opening a thin red line.

Tseng continued to smile at Candace. "Such strong conviction you have! I would applaud you but you are but a monkey. PIERCING SHOT!" he suddenly shouted before releasing the arrow to shoot point blank into her thigh.
