The small ghoul couldn't help but grin at Leo's enthusiasm. It was just a teenie bit infectious. But a good infection none-the-less.

"I hope there aren't any grumpy monsters lurking about down here." She looked about quickly. "Ya know, present company aside." Mei laughed lightly, covering her mouth with her hand as she followed Leo down the dark corridor. Squinting and opening her eyes wide to try and get them to adjust to the darkness more with no real success.

"Mantis," he stated automatically. "And your hands are extremely well groomed for a boils," he pointed out with a frown. "You should have spoken up rather than to let the misconception continue, it is not trustworthy."

But really, he was deflating quickly, and the boil himself was going toward the trap door, and it could probably be because of one other reason. Alexander. If he was not supposed to be quiet he would have probably rounded on him and let him know exactly how he felt about being interrupted while he was taking care of an issue on his own.

Rather aggravated with the entire ordeal he simply said absolutely nothing else, turning to go down the trap door and then stalking off into the darkness down the corridor. He was potentially banging into people, though naturally if he could tell that someone was a ghoul he did his best to avoid doing so. Oh, would Alexander have problems keeping up with him if he walked quickly? That was unfortunate. Though once he started to catch up to the front of the pack he began to slow down, letting someone else feel out the way in front. This was no time to do anything brash after all, and getting separated in a dark corridor would certainly fit that bill.

"He was never trustworthy," Shun murmured, hearing Yin's comment regarding Lou.

Though, he turned more to Mitsu, thinking for a moment on her question. She had started to write something right now it seemed.

"If you'd like you could quickly run and slip it under then come back. Considering the school's history with.. hidden passages, we should probably see what's up with this one in particular."

He doubted it would lead to that cave Vel and the others had found years ago. If it did, Arel wouldn't be having this problem with trying to seek it out.

Unless perhaps there was a locked door on the other side.

There really was only one way to find out.

"Then we'll deal with it when we get to it." Her tone was quite determined. "Worst case scenario, we know the way out and can run like bats out of hell." As long as they didn't get shut in, that is. But.. nah, that wouldn't happen, would it? Surely not.

And anyway, they were in a school. How dangerous could it get? (Leo really had missed a lot while she was home on various errands.)

"A..alright." Mitsu nodded before she laid the paper on top of the journal and finished it. It was quick and sloppy but got the point across. If anything it would be good to have a teacher know what was going on. Folding the paper neatly Mitsu trotted back toward the door that lead to Hellma's corridor and slipped the note underneath hoping the head master would see it.

On the note would be hurried writing giving out brief details about Arel's capture, the number left behind and the hidden passage behind the bookshelf. Whether it was a helpful detail or not it would likely not stay hidden for long. Mitsu saw no harm in it, though she was semi doubtful they would see Hellma. Maybe she should get another teacher. Maybe Malcolm or Nurse Cricket?

An impish grin came to her lips as she slipped the bottle out from her sleeve. "Its cider. Contraband." She moved the bottle around a bit to let the liquid inside swirl about. "I haven't decided if I'm going to try it yet or not. I have a friend who might be interested in taking a look at it. But since there were so many bottles about I figured I'd snag one. Didn't want to regret not having taken one later on."

She slipped the bottle back into her large sleeve and continued down the corridor. Her knees lifting a bit higher than usual as she went into a marching step and continued her soft humming.

It was a tune for adventure!

"Tentacles are least of worries," Mort intoned as they made their way. "V-Very leastly by sounds of Arel's taking. Keep guard up." In the twilight, the zomboil had a little smirk going. "Wouldn't want cider to come to harm, yes?"
