Dyami noticed Cyrus talking with Glory, Celendria and a new mare. he was courious about the new comer and figured she was a friend of Glory's and Celendria. thinking for a moment, he would have to meet this new comer.

The painted mare gave Cyrus a smile and a nod before turing to greet Kimimela properly. "Welcome to the herd. I hope you will come to love it here. If you need any help don't be afraid to ask."

Jazz walked into the clearing, coming out from the forest. It had been a long time since he had come back to the herd his parents and his sister were in. He had been gone for so long in his wonderings that he was a bit intimidated to come back. Looking around he noticed his father wasn't too far off with Cyrus, the protector of the herd. There were others that he did not know too well considering he was a colt when he had met them.

Seeing movement out of the corner of her eye Ayita turned aknowlaging Jazz presence. She remembered having seen a colt with his coloring running with the herd many moons ago but she had never really gotten to know him very well. It had been during the time when the painted mare had been pregnant with her own children and as a result had had her mind on other things at the time. She greeted him with a plesant nod and a wuffle before turning to include Kimimela and the others in her glance.

Dyami looked around andnoticed his son with a smilie. he had been gone for a while and dyami was happy he had come back. starting towards his son, he wondered what he had been up to for so long, but then Feniri also was one to wander.

Jazz froze as he noticed he had caught the attention of two of the herds members. He thought about just turning around and heading back into the forest but that would be rude and his mother did not raise rude children. So taking a deep breath, the young stallion nickered his greating to the two and started to walk towards them.

Ayita returned the young stallions greeting with one of her own as she inclined her head in his direction. "Its good to see you." She said in an easy manner as if he had only left the herd yesterday. "I hope all goes well with you."

Dyami smilied at his son. " its been a while Jazz." he then noticed the are and gave her a nod. having never met her directly, but knew she was apart of the herd. it seemed he did not know her name and gave a chuckle. " parded me but it seems i dont know your name." he said to the mare. " i may knew a few in the herd but i have yet to meet all."

"It's quite all right for I don't believe I know your name either." Ayita smiled giving the impression that it wasn't that big a deal. "I tend to stay with my twolegger friend alot. Also I had three fillies who dedicated their lives to keeping me busy so it's enterly possible that we just never had a chance to meet before. I am Ayita and it is a pleasure to meet you." The painted mare inclined her head in the older stallion's direction.

Cyrus was bucking around out of the norm with his youngest daughter Cynara whom was rolling around in the luscious green grass playfully. The other two of his children were slumbring with their mother. His emerald eyes looked at the herd satisfactorly.

Ayita's multi color coat was well lathered by the time she reached the herd lands from the shaman's teepee where she had reicently been visiting. Her sides were heaving as she slowed her pace not wanting to startle the younger members of the herd who wouldn't understand why someone would come chashing into their midst.
The information she carried was viltal however, so she did not pause long enough to cool herself down comepletely. The earlier Cyrus knew of the danger posed by the pale faces and their firesticks the better.
As soon as her breath calmed she trotted a bit more subduly past the watchers making a bee line for Cyrus. The elder soquili in the herd would know that something was wrong seeing the state of her coat as well as her urgency, but at least the foals would not be alarmed.
Before she reached the protector of the herd she whinnied to let him know she needed to speak with him motioning with her head so that he would know she need to speak in private.

Cyrus looked up as a prickle seemed to go up his neck, he seen Ayita in very urgent state. Without question he nuzzled his filly and trotted to Ayita as soon as they were far from ear shot he looked to her. "What is it?" he asked.
The morning sun was gone and the evening sun had just started to heat the lands to a point of exaustion if you were out to long without water or any of the such. His emerald orbs were on Ayita and her only, they watched her intently for news.

"There is danger in the forest near the coast." Ayita said without preamble. Taking a deep breath she imparted her news in a clam tone being careful to be as exact and concise as possible.
"A fox named Takota who is a friend of my shaman friend was curious about the over abundance of wildlife in an area just east of western forest. He went to check it out and was chassed away the pale two leggers who are staying there currently. Apparently they have magic sticks that spit fire and make thunder. One of the two leggers tried to use such a stick on Takota, but he was able to make a narrow escape."
The mare kept eye contact not wanting to gather too much attention until Cyrus decided what he wanted to do about the situation if there was anything that could be done. "I have not seen or heard this myself, but I believe Takota. He has never been decitful before. There is no reason to doubt him now. The reason I bring this news to you in such a hurry is because while the fire sticks pose no harm to us so long as the pale faces remain distant if they were to move into herd territory...I'm not sure what would happen. From what Takota told me I don't know if there is anything we could do against such a thing as this stick. But I thought it was important for you to know about it as soon as possible. I don't know what it is supposed to be used for, but I can't think that it's anyting good."

Cyrus snorted angerily, he was glad his foals nor Alona was there to see him. Anger filled his eyes as he was sworn with rage, he hated for even dear Ayita to be in his prescense. Never had he been so angry and consumed with hatred.
"Ayita, dearest friend. Why would I not believe you or Takota? I have no reason not to and you have no reason to explain yourself." he had winced when they said they might near the herd. This brought his past back to him as his own herd and what had happened to him when those pale faced ones had came nothing has changed. "Tell me did Takota say if they were nearing our beloved family?"

Greatfully Ayita shook her head glad that she had some good news to offer. "Thankfully, the pale ones are near the coast and seem content to stay there for the moment."
Turning her head to glance in the direction of the coast the painted mare sighed before turning back to Cyrus. His anger didn't bother her. She knew he was only conserned for his family. "Unforchinatly the two leggers do not always act in a senseable fashon so it is hard to say if they will stay there or decide to move farther in from the coast. But even if they do start moving the plains, river and forest is between us and them. It will take them a while to get this far. The great spirit willing we should have more than enough time to make emergancy plans incase we should need them."
