Abbadon smiled as the taste of the Aura had given him an odd connection with Xeen. the voice spoke into Xeen's mind, followed by a picture of the two, letting him know that he knew who he would be searching for.
His attention was quickly diverted by Baranar's oncoming blade. He grabbed it with his open palm, the acid glove still covering his hand. The blade was slowed by the acid, but still bit deep into his hand. It stopped, resting on the bone of his wrist. The blade continued to hiss as the acid ate at it.
But while he focused on the blade he didn't see the blade of light, which sliced into the tentacle on his palm. He screamed a high-pitched shriek of pain, when he didn't even flinch from the blade in his palm. His connection with Xeen was completely cut off, losing most of what he had taken, because he lacked the time to assimilate it into himself.
The life aura flickered back to its owner.

Baranar roared as he wrenched the Crow's Blade away, the top of the blade bearing a hand-shaped hole. Baranar leapt back, for fear of the blade breaking ireperably, and tossed it to the side. He swirled his hands about, the twin Crow's Talons appearing in them, the straps tightening magically as he rushed back at Abbadon, this time taking precautions. Both blades were encased in a sheen of dark energy, almost a gell-like substance.

Abbadon paused, as if hearing something from a distance. "Another time then, someone calls." He sent an acid glove at Baranar and took off in flight.
The other creatures followed suit, leaving their posts.
Abbadon stopped off at the park, and picked up the girl, dousing the hell fire with excess moisture. She looked to be in a state of certain death, but there were ways of healing.
They left, taking with them some victims, and leaving the city in ruin.

Baranar took the glove on one of the Talons, the black energy burning off, but leaving the blade unscathed. He saw Abbadon taking flight, and phsycically called for Feather, who was keeping watch from a nearby roof. The crow came swooping down, Baranar jumping at just the right time to land on the large bitd's back.
Baranar began to give chase to Abbadon, summoning a simple cantrip spell, 'itch' and casting it on the small of Abbadon's back.

Abbadon turned, twitching, with an odd look on his face. The girl was in his arms, and three other creatures flying behind him. "I do not have time for you, meddlesome one. And your demands have been met, have they not? I am leaving your city."

((Cantrip: A cantrip is a simple spell, but due to their simplicity, they are rarely learned. A cantrip can be any ammount of different things, each with very selective uses. Such as the sneeze cantrip. While it cannot slay a dragon, it can easily disrupt a wizard's spell, forcing him to sneeze. There are many other cantrips, such as: Itch, Wink, Blink, Spill, Trip, and countless others. The one in question here, "Itch" causes an itch to form on the desired local of a target creature. While it is possible to resist the urge to itch it, it is sufficient to cause the castee to twitch, or mention it in their following post))

"You still draw breath, beast, and you damaged my Scythe. Both ireperable crimes." Baranar waved his arm, long blades of light scything out after Abbadon.

One of the other four sheilded himself with a metalic coating and stepped in front of the others, taking on the light blades. The second being, a thin man with short spiked black hair sent a burst of blue fire at the bird. The third flew at baranar, shooting long black spikes from openings in his arm.
Abbadon, took the time to leave, still holding the injured girl.

Baranar knew he was outnumbered. Feather swooped into a dive, folding his wings back as he hurtled away from the spikes and fire, but not before Baranar could leave them a little present. He left behind a floating sphere of light and dark. As Feather pulled out of the dive, the sphere detonated, first with a blinding flash of light, then with a destructive wave of dark.

As the 'bomb' dissipated, none of the creatures could be seen at all. The sky was at an eery still.
((I was so expecting feather to leave a different kind of "present"....oh, and is your nose itching yet?))

Baranar glanced upwards after the the bomb had run it's due course, seeing none of the creatures. He knew too well that they would not all have been destroyed by the bomb, if any. Feather began flying back towards the HQ. Baranar allowed it, leaping off, transforming into a crow himself, flying around to take a closer view, in case Abbadon hadn't left as he said.

Artemis watched as Abbadon picked up the girl and fled, Baranar on his heels. She walked over to Ruby, looked at her, and smiled. Moments later, she was leaving the park with a slight skip in her step, her sword in one hand, a black permanent marker in the other.

Ruby woke up a while later, feeling a slight fuzziness in her head. She barely remembered anything. She pulled herself up and started walking back to the HQ, the broken glass and metal all over the road reminding her that she was barefoot. She flinched, with each step, avoiding cuts as much as possible. She paused by another puddle and saw her reflection. She looked twice, and then screamed.

Seth didn't notice Artemis drawing on Ruby's face but when he heard Ruby he quickly turned to see what was wrong... and just start laughing.
"New look Ruby" says as he laughs.
