((It wasn't flimsy. stare But... I suppose you're aiming toward Ogata winning this match, huh?))

Ayame's eyes widened again as she heard Ogata screech something that she couldn't understand. She quickly performed a jutsu, but it didn't seem to do anything. She was stalling for time... she had to come up with a plan very quickly.

((I didn't send water toward you, by the way. I was planning something else. But if you survived her tidal wave so easily, there's hardly any way Ayame can win.))

The sound wave hit Ayame, and a pool of water exploded around Ogata. Ayame appeared behind him, manipulating the water to slow his movements as she flung herself at the bat-child, kunai in hand.

(((Well his wings did shelter him from you. Plus, it's not all about power, there's strategy involved.)))

Neji and the other's covered their ears, and he was pretty sure he saw Mosuke bleeding from the ears. Sakura tended care to him while Koji and Inokichi watched over them. Neji wheeled around and saw that Haku was attempting to pull Rin back up from the tip of the balcony. She had lost her balance during the sonic attack and began to fall, but luckily Haku had managed a hold of her. Tessen ran over to them and helped her up.

Ogata roared in anger as he felt the kunai pierce his leather-like skin and he shrieked in agony. He wheeled around but couldn't get the weapon unstuck from his back. He finally spotted Ayame and his eye's glowed menacingly. He again activated his sound move and the wave headed towards her.

Ayame pulled out another kunai and prepared to use it, but she noticed the blast of sound heading her way. She threw herself on the ground, covering her ears. She felt the wave pulsing through her, her body was aching everywhere... she didn't know if she could stand it any longer! Then, it was gone. She slowly tried to stand, kunai clutched in her grip. Ayame faced Ogata.

"Don't push yourself!" Amara called out to her.
Kazuka broke in. "Yeah, you can't get yourself killed Ayame!"
"I have no idea how much control that creature has." It was her sensei.

Ayame nodded, painfully standing upright. "They're right. I am not willing to get myself killed over this battle. My endurance is not great, and I cannot push myself much further." Ayame bowed, slowly, painstakingly... "It was a good match." She turned from Ogata and began to make a slow trek from the arena. "I am obviously not ready yet." She said to her sisters. "I will try again next competition."

"You did well. Don't beat yourself up over it."

Neji just stared at Sishos then turned back into the arena, where Orochimaru and the other cell members had subdues Ogata. It turns out Ogata had not gained full control of all his powers, but he had managed to control the majority of it. Rin and Haru were dumbfounded at the events that had happend after Ayame resigned. Ogata had made a break for her anyway, but all the jounins, Ogata's cell, the ref, and Tsunade had jumped in and took care of him. Neji squinted darkly towards the arena and noticed Ogata was transforming back into himself. Mosuke stared at the arena, confused about why Ogata could turn into a demon. Sakura thought it was a jutsu but Koji explained how the demon was actually sealed inside him. "Now, let's go on to the next match!" Exclaimed the referee. The screen blitzed and a name appeared on the screen...

Neji saw Slishos' gaze turn to Hayate, the leader of the sound. He shrugged and watched RIn jump down the ceiling and into the middle of the ring. The arena was still devasted, and Neji hoped they would have to fight for it. Haru watched Rin with anxiety, as if he wanted to fight her. Finally the name's appearead again, and it spinned until there was one name left.
