Damian merely looked at her, smiled lightly, then continued up the stairs.

Rose slowly looked for the room and smiled in relief when she reached it. She looked at the bed and smiled even more knowing she would sleep better.Rose laid her head on the pillow and was out like a light.

Damian got to his corridor and sat down in one of his chairs. He picked up one of his many books and began to read silently.

Rose dreamed of her home being ravaged and many slaughtered in front of her. She watched as a sword was plunged through her mother then her sister. She groaned in pain and tossed around on her bed. A scream erupted from her lips as her father was beaten to the ground and he taken as a prisoner.

Damian rose from his chair and went toward the scream he heard erupt from the guest area. He wondered if it was from the elf. Damian walked into the room, and looked at the stirring girl.

Rosemary felt herself choking on smoke as it rose from the floor beneath her feet. Her lungs filled with the scent and she curled over gasping for air as she saw a younger her take off to her fathers retreating form. Rose's hands flew up to her throat as she gasped for air from the smoke in her dream as she tried to wake up but couldn't.

Damian walked over to Rose. Placing a hand on her forehead, he saw into her dream. Instantly he pulled away and took a step back. Then, once he regained a hold of himself, he attempted to away the sleeping elf.

Rose got scared as she tried to open her eyes but couldn't, she felt alone as sweat beaded on her forehead. Rosemary started to question her mind and the choices she made. She then saw her mother passed out on the ground and she just ran the other way.

Damian tried harder to wake up rose, but to no avail. He then thought of another way. He once again placed his hands on her forehead and peered into her dream, this time waiting for the right moment to wake her, when she tried to wake.

Rose saw herself crying in the forest as they dragged her mother and sister from the burning ash. The smell of burnt skin and boiled blood made her sick. She sat against the tree crying and thinking of everything that had happened as she tried to wake herself up.

Damian tried valiantly to wake up thee elf. He had never tried to help another living thing this much, he felt a little weird nut it needed to be done. He finally started to lightly move her back and forth to try to wake up rose.

Rose jumped awake choking and gasping for air as tears ran down her face. She was a little shaken about why she had that dream but let it slip her mind. Without even thinking of who it was before her she threw her arms around them in a hug and cried for the first time in years.

Damian was shocked when rose threw herself into his arms. at first he just held his hands up and then finally hugged the smaller elf back. He had never had this much interaction with another living thing that he didn't want to harm. He didn't know why he was doing any of this, he just was,
