Jerry gave a tight whimper, his hand trembling where it clutched Roar against his shoulder. His Fear Shield was ready to shatter at any moment, he was used to that feeling. He was not used to the completely draining sensation of the runic headband's wearing off.
This was his fault. This was his mission. He had to keep moving. Rounding a corner, he kept his weight off of his bad leg, eyes scanning the darkness until he spotted the splay of black hair and white coat. "S-sasha!! Oh, oh hell oh hell, please be alright..." He panted, hobbling towards her before his good leg stepped in somethign slick and he went skidding to the floor beside her with a loud, "P-PENNYWHISTLE!"

"Quality time, eh?" Wash chucked, echoing off the back of his shield. "Yeah, nice to see you again too, man."
"That's a nice bow you got there. A little more, er, precise than Jerry's shoulder cannon, eh?"
The lack of near misses on his person and ear-splitting, shrieking explosions was not lost on Wash. It was kind of nice, really. Unfortunately, it seemed this LACK of danger caused him to relax a little too much, and a few of the yammering creatures slipped past his shield.
"We're gonna have company!" He called.

"I noticed," Jerry murmured from his back on the floor beside her. "Are... are you alright? Where's Rin? I think... I think the headbands wore off. Ahahauuggggg"
He fought the urge to yuck himself.

She sounded miserable.
"I hurt so much."
Agonized.
"I don't.. I don't know where Rin is."
Sasha was on the verge of a breakdown.

"s**t! ********! s**t! SORRY LANGUAGE SORRY!" He kicked the little monsters as they gnawed at his legs.
Unfortunately his weapon was already gearing up for a charge and the monsters attacking him had thrown him off completely. His charge move hit the cieling.
"Premature ej.. uhh.. fire. NOT USUALLY A PROBLEM. I swear."

Just stay calm. There was time to freak out and yuck later. For now, he had to get the girls outside. "C-can you walk?" He managed, weakly pulling himself into a seated position.
He wasn't sure if HE could walk.

Jerry groaned again, dry-heaving a moment as he caught a wiff of the scent.
Stay calm, "Sooomewheeere, over the rainbow..." He sang softly, voice quivering as he managed to get to his feet, desummoning Roar to free up his hands. Wash and Bix had that final nest under control. With a grunt, he leaned on his good leg before taking Sasha by the arm, trying to guide her up onto his shoulder to lift her up.

Well s**t. Ok, it was both life threatening AND funny, and Wash laughed again, this time longer and harder.
"Woooo, boy. What kind of a mess have we gotten ourselves into?" He said aloud, but the inquiry quickly dissolved into sputtered curses as more of the creatures swarmed past him.
"s**t! Jerry, if you can hear me hurry up and get on outta here!"

Sasha was in a heap.
She wasn't conscious, Jerry.
At all.

Jerry slipped a little on the slick linoleum, Sasha balanced precariously on his shoulder. She didn't weigh much more than Roar, but without the bond of Fear helping to lighten the load...
His leg creaked and groaned.
He grit his teeth. One step at a time. Or at least, one limp at a time. Onetwo. Onetwo. The door grew closer. Get Sasha outside to safety, and then go find Rin. He could do this.

When Jerry really started jostling Sasha around, she started screaming.
Wordless, indiscernible cries of endless pain.
It was mind-numbing, and she may or may not have made a yuck-mess all over Jerry in between bouts of consciousness.

"Ah- S-sasha- ah..." Jerry flinched as the voice screamed in his ear, his bad leg buckling until the swerved into a wall. He caught their weight with his good leg, his whole body trembling under her before he tried to use the momentum of the stumble to push forward towards the dim light of the door, "W-we're... almost there just... just c-calm down aaah..." Dimly, he heard Wash calling but his ears were ringing with Sasha screeches.

Bix found another couple of shadows had slipped by and were mauling his legs. It seemed like the immediate danger spurned him on. He pulled arrow after arrow, downing the ones around himself and Wash and then moving to the main, churning, pack of shadow beasts.
"Making progress... Let's back away.." They were sure to follow but they could move towards the exit while they fought.
