The silver she-cat frowned when Firepaw tried to imitate her snorting, and she poked him in the belly again when he told her that she sounded funny when she snorted.
"I sound funny? You couldn't even do an imitation of my snort!" She responded, and when Firepaw looked hurt when she'd stated that he'd poked her first, she smiled. "I'm absolutely certain, Firepaw." She mewed, her eyes serious.

Firepaw swatted her paw away when she poked his belly. "Ey! That's my belly." He exclaimed. Rolling over completely onto his back he let out a sigh. "Absolutely certain are you?" He meowed thoughtfully. She was most likely right, he was simply trying to drag on the conversation for as long as possible. When he would become a warrior then he would be busy with patrols and stuff and he might not have as much time for her so he wanted to spend time now.

Silverpaw giggled a little when he swatted her paw away, and then rolled over completely onto his back so he exposed his belly. "Of course I'm certain! Just because you're almost a warrior doesn't mean you know everything!" She mewed, smiling.

Firepaw shot straight up onto his paws when she responded to his thoughts. "I never said I did!" He protested. His protest slowed down when he realized that she wasn't being serious. Letting out a huff along with a barely audible whisper of "I knew that.", he lay back down.

The silver tabby flinched when Firepaw shot up, and she nervously took a step back. She hadn't meant to offend him, and she murmured a quiet, "Sorry!" before settling down on the ground.

Firepaw blinked back his surprise when he realized he had frightened his friend a bit. He shook his head at her soft apology. Firepaw purred and gently cuffed a paw over her ear. "No worries." He reassured her and rolled back onto his back, poking her chin. "poke."

"You started it." She mewed as she poked him in the stomach.

Firepaw swatted at her paw when she moved to poke him in the stomach once again. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it." He pouted. "So I started it." Firepaw finally meowed, poking her paw.

Silverpaw pretended to look sad when Firepaw tried to look serious and told her that she had to remove ticks. Then she giggled and playfully cuffed Firepaw on the ear. "You go remove ticks!" When Firepaw poked her cheek, she launched herself at him and body-slammed him. "When neither of you hurt each other, retaliating is lots of fun."

Firepaw shook his head, eyes glowing. "Me? Remove ticks?! Great Starclan forbid! I will be a warrior soon." He meowed and puffed out his chest. "Besides." He continued, flicking his ear. "I already did that." Firepaw finished and let out a yelp of surprise when she launched herself at him. "Hey!" He said, swatting her ear with his paw.
