The smaller of the two half demons, Touga, had questioned what Inuyasha would have done had they not stopped him. Breaking out of his whirlwind, and into a paced run that would keep him besides Inuyasha, he touched the side of his chest where Inuyasha's claws had sunk into. It was a reckless move on his part, but there was no other choice without hurting Inuyasha. Looking at Inuyasha's claws while they were running, he caught the scent of his own blood still there. Had Inuyasha not washed his claws because he felt bad? Sure they did not get along at times, but still. Koga was older than Inuyasha which made Koga almost feel responsible for him as a type of older brother. Though he could not say he was any better than Sesshomaru, but Koga could stand to be around Inuyasha, and at times did care for his well being. Even if he expressed that care in a type of insult.
Soon they came to trot and then a complete stop as the wolf becokoned for the child to get off of him. " Regardless kid. Stealing Kagome merits death. spoke Koga as he looked forwards at the manor and nothing more. Removing his hand from his chest where his wound was once located, he clenched his fists angrily.

 Rin looked over at him as he was silent for a time, before he finally looked back at her. She was surprised when he said she could be a priestess, and that she had jumped from child to adult, missing the timeframe where she could know if she had any priestess powers. She sat up as he did and looked at him. Do something? Such as what? She didn't know what she was supposed to be doing, or looking for. "I....I do no't know what to do." She said, blushing. "I do no't know how to look inside my soul. I do not even know what to look for."Location: Southern Lands: Hotaru's home

 Koto grinned. "I can help you there. It's like learning to control your youki. The only difference is that what you want to look for is a warm light. It will be deep within yourself." Smiling, he watched her. "You mustn't be nervous. You are basically your soul right now so it should be fairly easy to find that light. When you find it, try and focus it on your hand." It was nightfall and he scented the others arrival but he wanted to remain with Rin for the time being. Once they sorted this out, he would ask Rin to join him to get the others settled.

Rin nodded as Koto said he could help her. She listened attentively as he said it was like a demon learning to control their youkai, but she was looking for a warm light. He also said it should be easier for her to find, being an actual soul right now. Focus the warm light on her hand. Alright. She can try that. She sat comfortably, and held out her hand, and concentrated. Find a warm light, find a warm light. It took a little time, but eventually, a pink glow flickered around her hand, and for a moment, her hand solidified, making it like she was in her own body again. "Did....did you see that, Koto?" She whispered as the glow went away. "My hand....it was solid...."Location: Southern Lands: Hotaru's home

It seemed that something about what Touga said about his current situation seemed to have gotten to Inuyasha, for an instance, Touga wondered if Inuyasha lived a life similar to his own. But there is no way of proving that. It is then that the pup is started out of his thoughts when the large wolf barked to him to get down. Startled, he looked forward to find them at the gates to Hotaru's manor. Hastily obeying he slid down off of the big wolf, it then shifted down to its smaller form. Now what? Do they wait or knock? Koga spoke then as well, speaking his intentions to kill his father for taking Kagome. Regardless of his intentions for doing so. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Rusty and Tsuki had been following silently, each lost in their own thoughts. Tsuki was thoughtfully touching her forehead, still pondering over the strangeness about her shard. She paused when she realized she was about to walk over Touga. She glanced up. "Oh.. We're here already..?" She yawned and stretched her arms over her head. She looked at Koga. "Still sore?"
Rusty had his hands behind his head and was looking up at the sky. He stared at the manor, slowing down. He stopped next to Inuyasha, looking at the door. "Are we supposed to just wait?" He'd pulled a mask over his nose during the trip, trying not to inhale the dust from Koga's whirlwind. His voice was quiet, but his speech was still understandable. He glanced at the messenger wolf before returning his gaze to the manor.

Koto's eyes widened as he watched her hand solidify. Grinning at her reaction, he stood. Come on, we have some guests at the front gate." He waited for Rin to get up and follow him before he took off to the front gate. he was in an extremely good mood. Signaling for the soldiers to open the gate, he stood before it. Once it opened, he watched Hiro stalk in growling. Grinning at the wolf, he reminded himself to antagonize him later. Turning to the others, he bowed. "Welcome to the Southern Manor. Lady Hotaru is currently resting. I will lead you to your rooms." Koto turned and began to head into the manor.
 Inuyasha could tell that the wolf was extremely upset with the kitsune. He grumbled under his breath. It seemed lately there were alot of damn kitsunes coming around. He didn't mind Shippo but that was only cause the kit had basically had become family. Following the kitsune, he glanced at the others in the group. He caught sight of a ghostly form and his ears perked. It was then he smelled Sesshomaru's stench. He had brought Rin and the stupid toad Jaken as well. he also detected Ah Uhn's scent. He flexed his claws. If Sesshomaru tried anything, he was going to tear him to shreds.

Sesshomaru sat there in his quarters and caught Inuyasha's scent...so Hotaru planned to bring everyone including that half-breed b*****d here... he had no interest in aiding Inuyasha...the world would burn and he would still refuse to help that half-breed.....Sesshomaru got up...and equipped his swords...a maid asked him where he was going as he entered the hall...he simply replied.."tell Lady Hotaru...plans have changed..." he said heading out ...but first following Inuyasha's scent...

Rin flushed slightly as Koto grinned at her. She couldn't help but notice he was an attractive man. After all, she was a teenage girl. He was also very friendly, attentive and kind. She watched him get to his feet, and floated off the ground in a graceful manner to follow him. What guests were they expecting? She floated beside him as the gates were opened, and her smile widened as she saw Inuyasha and his friends. She liked Inuyasha and the others. They were all so kind to her, especially Kagome. Her smile faltered. Where was Kagome? Had something happened to the girl? She saw Inuyasha's gaze at her, and floated forward. "Hello, Inuyasha." She said softly. "It is I, Rin." She looked down at herself. "There is some explanation involved, but I assure you, I am one and the same." He would be able to see and scent her real body in the bedroom, should he not believe her. Koto smiled over at Rin as he saw her go up to the group. At that moment, he sighed loudly. Sesshomaru was on his way over. Looking back at Inuyasha, noticing that he was tensing up, he spoke. "I would ask that you refrain from battling him on these grounds. I do not wish a mess to be made." Looking at Rin, he smiled. "Come on Lady Rin. Let us lead them to the manor.
Inuyasha's senses immediately picked up Sesshomaru's advance. When the kitsune spoke, he nodded at him. "I won't do nothing right now. I can't gaurantee that b*****d won't start something." Looking at Rin, Inuyasha frowned. "Why aren't you in your body brat? Why do you look like an adult as well?"

Sesshomaru now meet his gaze with inuyasha...."little... brother" he said a low cold tone as if the very words were an insult to him...he looked around.."where is your owner dog...did she leave you...seeing how pathetic you are Im surprised it took her this long..." he passed right by him...he stopped several feet behind him...sensing hostility...does he plan on attacking me here...would he risk tempting me...does he love her that much..."tell me Inuyasha...why do you protect someone when it would be easier to use your power to accomplish your own goals...why take the responsibilities of others while you still haven't fully fulfilled your own...." he said with his back turned to him..

Growling softly, Koto stepped toward the two. "There will be no fighting here. Lord Sesshomaru, you are a guest in Lady Hotaru's home." He crossed his arms, glaring at the two of them. He watched Inuyasha scoff and turn back toward him.
As soon as Sesshomaru spoke, Inuyasha growled, stopping. "You b*****d." Turning around, he tightened his hand around the hilt of Tessaiga. "Take that back or I'll make you." When the fox lectured them though, he released Tessaiga and huffed. Turning back around, he huffed. "You aren't worth it." Kagome was more important right now.

•Power?: Suppressed "I have been alone for as long as I can remember...why should I start trusting now?" ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ The gates then opened to reveal yet another kitsune by the name of Koko who is to show them to their rooms. The wolf had gone in and seemed to go somewhere else grumbling about the kitsune in question. A ghost woman approached and greeted them, there is the scent of that other dog demon who had appeared in the village before. it seemed to be growing stronger as the demon must be approaching. Inuyasha grew tense as he smelled it too. Koko asked that they don't get violent, but no promises were made. Touga moved into the grounds a bit and observed the floating woman, he couldn't tell if she was dead or not. Which is strange.
The dog demon now approached and spoke to inuyasha calling him 'brother' then proceeded to insult him to provoke hostilities. Koto chiding them both to not cause a fight. And Inuyasha scoffed and looked away. The tension in the air is stiffling. The little pup was in Sesshomaru's way, he only looked up at him curiously, he might get a bit of curiosity back considering he is Tailos's son. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇

Sesshomaru enjoyed Inuyasha's empty threats..."It was always the dog that gave chase to the fox...Inuyasha it seems even you have defied the very essence of nature.." he said as he heard Inuyasha silenced by Koto's lecture...he began to walk away slowly...the hostility almost passed as he did...he now was off to the shadow realm...he drew the tenseiga and closed his eyes slowly allowing it pulsate as it absorbed the hair he got from the youkai...a meido formed and swallowed him whole...closing behind him

As they waited for something to occur, the familiar scent of Sesshomaru, Inuyasha's older brother, along with that of the little toad entered his nose. A fox had arrived who would show them to their rooms, however the sight of Rin had confused him. The last he remembered of her was when his wolves attacked her village. He had specifically ordered them not to target her because she was a child. But when he had left the village for a moment, he could smell the blood of a human. Kouga had truly thought that she was dead. But Sesshomaru's appearance caused Kouga to take up a defensive stance in front of Touga. Sesshomaru had then left after ridiculing Inuyasha through would looked like a black ball of demonic energy. When Sesshomaru spoke, he lowered his guard slightly before speaking. " Can we continue now?" questioned Kouga impatiently. Kagome was in danger, they had no time to sit idly.
