ʀɪɴ ɴᴀɴᴀκᴏ  Rin was vaguely aware of Inuyasha appearing at her side, but was focused solely on Sesshomaru. "You aren't wanted here. Why don't you prance back to that b***h you call a mate. I took her as pack. She makes her own decisions now. If you disagree, I'm willing to stand in the way to make sure she does." Sesshomaru then spoke up again. "If that is how you feel then so be it...I never held you against your will...I always told you to do as you wished..." Her eyes widened. She had wished to stay by his side forever. But now he has betrayed her in the worst possible way a person could. "Your no longer a child so your free do what you want...I do care for you...if you believe me or not that is solely up to you."Her breath caught in her throat. What? Here she was, contemplating throwing herself off the top of this cliff to her death because of him, and he just told her to 'do as she pleases', as if he didn't care about her at all? Her one bright and beautiful shining brown eyes turned dull and lifeless with her heartbreak. His words cut her deep. "I see...." She whispered. "Then this Sesshomaru has no more need of Rin...." With that said, she turned and ran to the edge of the cliff and jumped into space, her body free falling down the side, clipping sharp pieces of rock as she went. Her blood was on Sesshomaru's hands. Shocked and angry, Stian opened his maul and let out a loud basso roar that shook the air. Angry with the white dog and at the same time concerned for the woman. The air turned frigidly cold in seconds of his roar. He turned without hesitation and launched himself over the cliff and down after her, wisps of frozen air swirled around his large paws creating a dusting of snow flakes and ice to stream past him as he dived. Using his ability to fly. He saw her body clip sharp rocks as she fell and rumbled concern and anger as he gained on her. He is level with her some 18 feet off the ground below, he swerved nearer and caught her by her tied sash around her waste, then he began to scrape his claws along the rocks in an effort to get control of the fall and slow down enough. There is a thick tree coming into view and he launched off of the cliff face and falling rocks to land on the heavy looking branch he spotted, it wobbled a bit but he regained his balance. His teeth hooked into her kimono.
He let her slip enough to get a better grip on the back of her collar before stepping off of the branch and floating gently down to the grown below with his burden, gently letting go was they have landed. Laying her down, he padded around her checking her for injuries that he can tell from, worried about her. Anyone would be able to find them when things got settled back up on the cliff by following the trail of heart of winter frost that layers the ground and trees where Stian goes.OOC: Where: Wooded area / Cliffside

Now then...
As Yoko demonstrated his power for the Lady Hotaru, he did catch her attention, he could feel her shock and pleasure at the feel of his raw demonic force. He had ignored the human outside his fence of thorns and roses, as his primary focus was only on impressing this woman. When he had she turned back to him and approached him, she lightly nipped at his collar where if she so chose she would make her own bonding mark. However she persisted in playing hard to get. "I believe that will be well enough for now fox. You may have the power but you definitely need to learn how to dominate still. Don't you know of my breed? We females only submit to the one who is the strongest." He inclined his head to her and smiled chillingly, "Believe me Lady, you don't want to see me when I'm hostile. Eventually I think you will see things my way." His power began to drain as he spoke, the wild energies settling back down. She retreated to climb out of the pool to reach for her clothes. Stating that they should return to the camp, and that she doesn't want the human to be harmed for attempting to rescue her.
There is a further drain on his power, he closed his eyes and let his youki fade away. When the lady Hotaru looked at him again, Kurama let out a breath, he felt as though he had over exerted himself. Did you have to show off quite that much...yoko? Shuichi thought with some disdain and swayed from the sudden fatigue. His hair no long gleamed silver but had bled out to Shuichi's natural red hair color. He braced himself on a large moss covered rock and gradually took in that he is naked. A tinge of pink rose on his face across the bridge of his nose as he grew shy and embarrassed. "I beg your pardon, Lady..." He mumbled, his thick bangs shadowing his green eyes. He moved to where he had left his own clothes and turning his back on her climbed out of the pool himself, and pulling on his clothes. Once he at least had some pants on, Kurama became aware of another presence beyond this fencing of lunar flowers. He walked over to the appropriate side and laid his hand on the twining limbs of the plant. He strained his will and asked the plant to part, it did after a few moments. The branches thinning out and pulling apart forming an opening for them to get out. He saw Masato and the remains of his shikigami. "Masato-kun?" he asked wearily. moving to pull on his yellow robe over his pants, and tied it on with his obi. His shoes were an easy slip on shoes when he is done.

The moment Rin spoke her words and ran, Inuyasha felt his beast clamoring to save her. He heard Stian roar and take off immediately after her falling form. He prayed to god the cat caught her or he'd kill him. Instead he immediately moved between Sesshomaru and the cliff. He stabbed his shoulder, allowing blood to form. In an instant, he attacked Sesshomaru. "You b*****d! You better pray that cat catches her before I finish with you." This wasn't a normal Inuyasha. This was an Inuyasha that was super powered beyond what he once was. He was full demon with the control to match. Raising, his claws, he slashed downward before unconciously using his new abilities to shift through the shadows to get out of the way. He wouldn't be able to fully control it at this time as he would need training from someone who would know how. For once, Inuyasha was a match for Sesshomaru and he had the frame of mind to not fully rush in but actually use his head. With Kagome on the way though, no doubt she would help.

 She couldn't help it at his response. The smile grew to show a flash of her fang. He'd learn soon enough. She knew enough about kitsunes to know their courting practices were much different. They showered their chosen with gifts of their prizes they took. With Inu youkai, they battled it out until a male could be found that could dominate the female.
Feeling his power disappear completely once she was dressed, she saw now that he was back to being a red head. It was almost adorable how he blushed. She gently plucked a single white rose, placing it in her hair, the flower blending in quite well. She'd request Kurama once she returned to her fortress to grow some of these flowers within the same garden her parents once had them in.
Stepping outside the barrier, her gaze moved to Masato. Instantly, her miko side pleaded for her to help him. Mentally sighing, she moved forward, gently caressing his cheek. "They will return Masato-san. They did not truly die. They merely returned to where they belong." It was the only words of comfort she could offer him. She tried to smile sweetly toward him but she doubted the fangs would allow it. She knew they could hover too long though. She could sense the rising of the sun was about to happen which means Koto would be up and moving soon.

Go Shikigami!  Masato stared at the large structure for a while and let out a sigh. He wasn't any match to whoever possessed such power and would be a foolish idea to try making more Shikigami to land hits. With the Shikigami he had, he couldn't even tear the barrier apart with his spiritual power. It would be a pointless assault and who knows if that power were to return should he disturb the barrier. He waited a bit longer, there was no plan in mind and with the strength he had to overcome the obstacle was a fruitless effort.
Before he could even turn heel and return to the campsite, the barrier began to shift slowly and open the maw of its defenses. Masato paid attention to the opening, a figure had slowly emerge from the entrance. His eyes widen in surprise, Kurama had come out from the depths of the barrier. The half naked man put on his robe and shoes, he looked over to his direction. He called his name, but the sound he drew out was a sign of fatigue and even he could read the expression he was making. Why on earth Kurama create a barrier in this part of the forest? What was he trying to keep out of all things? After Kurama settle himself with his attire, another figure followed behind him. When the identity of the figure came out into the moonlight, Masato froze in place. His heart skipped a beat, his breathing seized that before him was Hotaru, She was inside the whole time? He didn't even face Kurama as he settled with his gaze onto her.
Masato shook up from her sudden approach. She was making way towards him, he was uncertain what she wanted. He came to bring her back to the campsite, yet she was with Kurama this whole time. She moved forward and caressed his cheek. It was the same, the same feeling when she caressed his cheek back in the village. This feeling... Her words reached to him, was she trying to comfort him for their loss? He looked at her. "I know, Tomo told me while we were training." Now he couldn't get it out of his head, but he just saw the two of them together coming out of a bundled up plant. Kurama had put on his clothing once he got out, that had to be something going on inside that barrier without him knowing. For some reason or another, it was as though he could see there was an explanation to it, but this weird feeling he had... Such relationships had grown overhead without his knowledge and that was what he was thinking at the moment. He saw her smile, her fangs stood out. He studied her, was she really smiling or forcing one for his sake? There was bound to be a misunderstanding and confusion.
Once the sun rose, Masato smiled with her hand still attached to his cheek. "I'm glad you're alright Hotaru. I was beginning to think that you would have been gone for good. So I came to find you. I didn't think that Kurama was with you." For now, he would have to tossed his thoughts. It was easier said than done, but it would only bring distraction when he wanted to train. He turned to Kurama and smiled to him. "Thanks for finding Hotaru, Kurama." His attention draw back to Hotaru once more. "We should get back to the campsite, everyone should be ready by now. Time would be wasted if Naraku isn't found and who knows what he'll do with our friends." His hand grabbed hers and pulled way from his face. "I have to go help carry the injured back to the village. I was wanting to help, but..." He cut himself, unsure if he could continue. He did want to help, but like before he wasn't ready. Strangely as of now, he hadn't thought of letting go of her hand without realizing.

Sesshomaru moved to save her but was interrupted by Inuyasha cutting in, he was in the way like always. Sesshomaru gripped the tensegia as he parried Inuyasha's blow leaping aside, seeing an opening to the cliff Sesshomaru dashed to it. In a series of afterimages he saw the cat catch Rin before him, landing on the ground before the cat as the earth gave way under his speed. Sesshomaru turned to the cat revealing his left arm tore off, what it cost him to save Rin from killing herself. Blood seeped from the wound as it stained his sleeve, but his focus remained on Rin, "I won't let you take your life Rin...no matter the cost". Sesshomaru got closer to the cat and Rin as he spoke as if he was completely fine. He let that half breed take his arm yet again but this time it wasn't for power or anything it was the chance to save Rin's life.

Nodding his head at the thanks that was given to him, he watched as she picked up her bow and arrows, and immediately indicated for Keita to do the same. When she took of running, Kagome was quick to grab Keita and throw him over his shoulders before running after Kagome. It didn't take very long for him to reach her and scoop her up and under his eyes. Now that he had both safely with him, his sped increased, and the trees they passed began to look like a mere blur before Kouga skidded to a stop on the opposite side of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. Putting both humans down on opposite sides of him he spoke to Keita. "Aim at the other one." With: Kagome, Inuyasha, Masato, Kurama, Kouga, GrampsGrabbing the Longbow of Saint Hakushin from off of the ground, he initially let out a small yelp from the force put behind him being thrown over Kouga's shoulders. Once they had arrived, an arrow had already slid out of his quiver and into his hand, and all it took was a target from Kouga before he was aiming his arrow at Sesshomaru. Something seemed off about Inuyasha, and instead of the incomplete feeling he felt when being near Inuyasha, it seemed as though something more dark and devious had taken control.

 Kagome Higurashi Kagome wasn't really surprised when Kouga scooped her up and carried her to where Inuyasha and the others were. When they arrived though, her jaw clenched at the sight of Inuyasha and he was in his Youkai state and she raced towards him as soon as she was put down. She didn't care about Sesshomaru being there but she'd seen him jump down the cliff to save Rin ao the coast was clear right? As Kagome approached she shouted Inuyasha's name, not really sure what she was going to do. He didn't have his back to her like he had the other times and she didn't know what he'd do. So she stopped about two dozen feet away from him and notched an arrow, pointing it at him as she drew the string back and yelled at him as tears streamed down her cheeks, "Stop Inuyasha! He's gone! This isn't like you Inuyasha. Please turn back to normal." Kagome couldn't hold up the tough façade, she couldn't shoot Inuyasha even if he tried to kill her. Kagome lowered her bow, the arrow falling to the ground and leaving her completely defenceless if Inuyasha attacked her.

Inuyasha had smirked when he saw Sesshomaru's arm fall off. He hadn't lost his edge. Seeing his half brother leap down, he followed him, worried about Rin and Stian. After a few leaps, he landed nearby the trio. He growled in irritation, moving next to Stian defensively. It was then when Kouga, Kagome and the other human arrived. He caught sight of Keita aiming at Sesshomaru. Then his gaze was drawn to Kagome as she yelled at him. She had her bow raised, ready to shoot him. This was ridiculous. "Kagome, stay back. Kouga keep her away from here." His eyes were still red, his voice a little gruffer but that was it. He was still sane. "Leave her alone Sesshomaru. You abandoned her!" Just like Sesshomaru had abandoned him as a kid. His half brother should have taken him in when his mother had died. Instead he had been dead set on killing him off. Because of that, Inuyasha had had to learn how to be a part of a pack on his own. Sesshomaru had mated someone that would not see Rin as pack. He had abandoned her for the sake of that woman. His mind was focused between Kagome and Rin. "Kagome, don't make me yell at you. I'm going to protect her. She's pack now." He flexed his claws. If Sesshomaru continued to advance, he'd attack. He expected Kouga to keep Kagome from Sesshomaru's grasp in the meantime. He knew it would probably surprise the others that he could talk and that he had control over his other half already. "Get her out of here cat. Do whatever you do and disappear." He would not allow Sesshomaru to harm Rin even emotionally now that he had accepted her as pack.

Sesshomaru stood there calmly as his dim witted brother had shown up, had he really thought he took his arm due to his skill. Sesshomaru took the chance of saving Rin and let Inuyasha take his arm so he could save Rin. "Watch your tongue, what I do is little of your concern half breed...if you claim her as your pack then live up to it...if you weren't gonna catch her then why try to stop me from catching her...you took your chance to attack me by using Rin as bait...I can see it from your eyes...its clear you could care less about your pack...if you did then why still use something that left uncheck could cause you to kill everyone in it...I seen it before you have lashed out you allies in this form....unless your a pure blood you cant control it..it will engulf you...so stand aside", he spoke calmly as his eyes narrowed to his little brother then glanced over to Kagome before returning to Stian. He began approaching them without even a second thought his eye caught sight of Naraku's poisonous insects as he passed a tree, it was quite a ways off watching safely. So here they were giving Naraku a show.

Snorting, Inuyasha let out a gruff laugh. It felt oddly liberating being able to control himself. He'd have to ask Stian about these new developments as he wasn't able to control himself before he had made that bond with his shadow. That had to be the reason. Leaning back some, he gave a fanged grin toward Sesshomaru. "You don't understand a damn thing you b*****d. I do watch my pack. Closely. I just happen to trust my pack will help to protect each other. My humans aren't weak. They are strong and powerful. Rin is too. As for lashing out, I don't have to worry bout that anymore. Now, if you want me to go back to being all normal and s**t, I suggest you leave cause you're the only one keeping me this way." As he watched Sesshomaru advance, he growled darkly. When he saw his eyes flicker to the side, he himself glanced. Naraku... He didn't want this turning into a fiasco. "Just leave her be for now Sesshomaru. Its obvious she doesn't want to talk to you right now."

ʀɪɴ ɴᴀɴᴀκᴏ Rin wasn't aware of Stian jumping after her and catching her. On her fall down, she had banged against pieces of rock. One piece had hit her sharply on the head, knocking her unconscious. Others had cut at her usually flawless creamy skin, marring it with bruises and cuts that oozed blood. She has no idea of Sesshomaru's loss of arm, or the confrontation currently happening. She lay limp and pale on the cold rock, Stian and Inuyasha standing over her, guarding her body and her heart. Location: Roads

Now then...
Seeing as it is already morning, sunrise starting to peak between the trees. Kurama sighed, after all of that showing off Yoko did he felt really tired. He noticed the shikigami’s remains and felt a little guilty, it must have been struck by Yoko’s wild raw energy. There is nothing he can do for it. Hotaru assured Masato that it is not truly dead, that it just went back to where it was before it was summoned. He nodded in achnowledgement when Masato thanked him for finding Lady Hotaru. ”We should get back to the camp. I’ll make some breakfast if anyone wants it.” He put action to words and silently moved past the two to walk back to the camp, following a trail he knew best and his senses of the forest that leads them back to the camp, the fire needed rekindling. He frowned a little though when they got back. The only one still at the camp is the pup who is curled by the fire and travel sacks asleep. ”Where is everyone…?” He looked around. Right about then is when out of nowhere the white lynx stepped up to the camp carrying that limp girl who had cared for Koto earlier…
