The past couple days were uneventful, to say the least. This disappointed Phil, since their relationship endeavors gave him something to do at work other than work. Jeremy was a little disappointed as well, but he had work to keep him going, and he would never admit his disappointment to Phil. Clark stormed into his office in the afternoon. "Why the hell did you pull me from the JKD meeting? I made the presentation!"Jeremy rolled his eyes. "Exactly," he said simply, looking up at the other from his desk. "Your presentation wasn't up to par with our standards." "Oh really," Clark put a hand on his hip. "Such as?" He challenged. God, this guy was annoying. Just fix your s**t and move on. "Your graphics were tacky and cliche, you put their old logo on all of the pages, despite the fact that I sent you what their new logo design it, at least a third of the images were pixelated, and don't get me started on the typos." He said going through the horrible thing before switching to continue typing up an email. "It probably just uploaded improperly!""Even if it did, that wouldn't explain half of the problems I listed. Anyway, I haven't completely cut you from the meeting. If you can fix everything I've listed, and make this even better by Monday next week, then you're back on and spotless. Until then, Lisa's preparing it. If yours looks worse than hers, then kiss the meeting goodbye. I recommend dropping in on that tech class this afternoon," he said simply. "Excuse me?" Clark demanded. "I've been working here just as long as you have--!"He really wasn't in the mood for this. He finally raised his eyes to meet the other's, and Clark nearly froze against his cold stare. "And look where we are now. I've been promoted five times, making me your boss, and you're still in the same position. What does that tell you?"Clark gawked. "I don't see what your problem is at this point. I told you you've got a second chance. Stop wasting time and own up to your mistakes."And that was when Clark stormed out and slammed the door. Jeremy rubbed his temples in annoyance. Sometimes he really felt like he was surrounded by immature idiots. Now that he thought about it, he might as well look at how Dante's group was doing. Maybe being around Dante would put him in a better mood. He shouldn't rely on the other this much, but he was a bit desperate for some better company. He stepped out of his office, seeing Dante take a rather large bite of his sandwich and turning away. "Andrews, I want to see what you all have so far. Immediately." He said simply. "I don't care who shows it, I just need to make sure that at least some people are doing their jobs right."When the presentation was shown to him, he could see that they were close to being finished. Just a few minor revisions that could be fixed easily enough within the next few days. "Change the font to something more modern. And the color scheme should be paler--make them pastels. The target audience is teenage girls, and pastels will be more likely to work with this product's intent. Pages four, eight, nine, and twelve look a bit thrown together, so clean those up a bit. Other than that, keep up the good work." He handed it back to them. "If anyone has any further questions, just stay behind and let me know."Syaoran-Puu Oh no worries. I don't have class till 3:30pm tomorrow, and I tend to stay up late, anyway, soooo we'll just see.

Dante nodded at Jeremy's request, saving the presentation to a USB drive before getting up with Richard to see the guy, Alex was off working on another project so it was just the two of them at the moment... and everything was still in the work in progress stage. Which was why Dante didn't take offence at all at the 'just thrown together' comments, since they pretty much where. Still, it was clear to see the guy was stressing over something.... and Dante had a feeling it had nothing to do with him and everything to do with the guy that had stormed out of here. "If anyone has any further questions, just stay behind and let me know." He used that as his excuse to check in on the guy, though part of him predicted the guy wouldn't like it.... "I'll catch up in a minute Richard.""Sure.... I'll grab us refills, my arse is starting to hurt from sitting all morning anyway." Dante watched as the guy looked to Jeremy for a moment before disappearing. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of that but shrugged it off. Dante closed the office door. Only then turning back to Jeremy he found himself asking, "You ok? You seem.... miffed... stressed.... pissed." He said, trying not to make a big deal of it, even as his fingers played with his USB drive. He sighed softly, "Anything I can do to help?" It wasn't a sexual advance, simply an offer of aid, not that he predicted there was much he could do for his 'boss' right now anyway. He smiled, deciding that maybe distracting the guy would be a better option, "How about I cook for you tonight? Cheer you up...." It felt like it had been a while since they had hung out, though in actual fact it was probably only a couple of days. Still, Dante was aware his Father was due in a few days, and that it would limit their interaction.... at least while he was here; and their weekend 'date' felt like it was an age away... wait, what day was it? He was losing track.

"You ok? You seem.... miffed... stressed.... pissed." Jeremy rubbed his temples a bit. "All of the above.""Anything I can do to help?"There didn't seem to be any sexual undertones to that, so he didn't think much of it. He shook his head a bit. "Our hit list is getting too long...it'd be too suspicious...and we'd need another shovel," he managed to joke with the faintest chuckle. Jeremy was considering firing Clark, but at the same time, he wasn't sure he had a heart for it. Despite his rough exterior, he did cherish his employees to an extent, and he knew that Clark had other things on his plate right now. Still, if he kept this lousy work up much longer, he wasn't sure of what use he would be to him. The idea of firing was stressful right now. "How about I cook for you tonight? Cheer you up...."Jeremy looked up at that offer. He had nearly forgotten that he hadn't been to his house in a while. He appreciated the offer. Maybe home cooking was what he needed. He had just been eating junk or nothing at all for the past couple of days. "I'd like that...so I can finally tell you you're a bad cook with evidence," he teased jokingly. "Going to make that chocolate cake that will bring me to my knees, then?" He chuckled. He hadn't meant for that to sound as sexual as it did...too late now.

"Our hit list is getting too long...it'd be too suspicious...and we'd need another shovel," That had Dante chuckling, remembering all too clearly how he had wanted to kill Alex and Richard the other day... of course that particular conversation brought other thoughts to mind too.... he forced himself to look away from Jeremy.... anywhere else.... granted, when they fell upon the desk he couldn't help but smirk and think that that particular piece of furniture was just as bad as the man himself. Clearing his throat he did push such thoughts from his mind. Now was not the time for them. "I'd like that...so I can finally tell you you're a bad cook with evidence. Going to make that chocolate cake that will bring me to my knees, then?" Dante pouted a little at that, even as he knew the guy was just teasing him again. Sticking out his tongue he couldn't help but retort with a, "Well you will just have to wait and see.... of course, if I get you to your knees I will never let you live it down." He chuckled softly, making a note that they would probably have to n** into the store in order to get a few of the ingredients he was missing for the cake.... plus, he had no idea what he was actually going to cook considering the offer had been a spare of the moment knd of thing. Ah well, quick and simply would have to do unless he thought of something better before then. "Oh... just so I have an 'excuse' to be here... my Father's plane is getting in earlier than originally planned, what is the procedure, if any, to leave work early? I don't mind taking it unpaid if needed... can't leave him on his own.... he always ends up in trouble." He rolled his eyes, telling Jeremy the dates and times, though he knew he would likely have to tell him then again another time. Finished for now he left and made his way back to his desk, sure enough Richard had brought over two cups of tea... and although Dante actually hated the stuff he felt it would too rude to reject it... what was this now? Cup three? Four? Man.. at this rate he would end up looking like a teapot. Barbara and Richard were in the middle of an exchange, and it was clear from the way Richard was holding himself that he was interested..... that brought a grin to Dante's face. At least he wasn't the only one living in the 'taboo' zone. "Then he said -'What do you mean there's no time? I've got a watch right here'." Richard laughed and so did Barbara... and all Dante could do was roll his eyes. He really didn't want to know what they were talking about if jokes like that were coming up. "Sorry about that," He said, interrupting and sitting back at his desk. Barbara smiled over at him but he didn't pay her much attention, hoping that she would get the picture sooner rather than later that he really really wasn't interested. Thankfully the rest of the day went by quickly. Alex checked in a few times and after tweaking a few of the things Jeremy had suggested earlier they were nearly ready. A final look through tomorrow should be enough to call it a day. A little exhausted he packed up and made his way towards Jeremy's office, timing it so that it would hopefully just look like they happened to run into each other on the way out of work. But as usual Phil was also there, not that Dante minded too much, he was getting used to the guy being around a lot... "Evening." He said, smiling softly at the guy. "Productive day?" "Meh. Same old, same old. What can I say, things are boring now that I am done scheming." That had Dante chuckling, even as he found himself blushing a little. Man, he didn't like the fact that the guy was pretty much in the know about all his dirty little secrets, or rather his AND Jeremy's. "Well, I noticed Richard chatting up Barbara earlier. Maybe you could turn your attentions to them next.... sure Richard would appreciate it, especially since he was failing badly this afternoon." He smiled as he watched Jeremy finish up and approach. "Evening." He said, trying his best to keep stoic towards the guy since he didn't want to be too obvious. Grins777 Oh... forgot to say it earlier, but don't worry about the length of your replies smile hehehe, I am happy with anything XD Not hard to please.

"Well you will just have to wait and see.... of course, if I get you to your knees I will never let you live it down."Jeremy smirked a little. "Well then I'll have to be sure to not get to my knees tonight," he chuckled. "Oh... just so I have an 'excuse' to be here... my Father's plane is getting in earlier than originally planned, what is the procedure, if any, to leave work early? I don't mind taking it unpaid if needed... can't leave him on his own.... he always ends up in trouble."Jeremy had nearly forgotten that Dante's father was flying in...the big businessman father. THAT father. "There should be a sign out sheet on the receptionist's desk. Just put your time and reason for leaving, and you should be fine," he explained. He watched as the other left and briefly wondered what it would be like for him to see his father again. Why had he come? Would Dante come out of the closet? Would his father even listen? Would he care? A hard feeling came to his stomach as the memory of his father's reaction came back to him. All of this talk of fathers was really getting to him. After that, he was off to a lunch meeting with one of their clients. When he got back to his office, Phil was spinning in his chair. "Your chair is SO much more comfortable than mine!" He whined, continuing to spin. "Did you do anything productive today?" Jeremy sighed, setting his new set of files on the desk before leaning his hip on it to face him. Phil stopped spinning and rested his elbows on the desk. "I finished everything. I'm way ahead of schedule..." He sighed. "You say that like it's a bad thing.""It is! I'm turning into you when you have no life! This is what happens when I don't have you two to deal with!"Jeremy's lips shifted to one side, giving Phil a look. "Get out of my chair," he chuckled. It was after they switched positions that Dante came in and Phil mingled with him for a moment. "Evening."Phil gave a knowing look to both of them, looking between them repeatedly, as if excited for something to happen. Jeremy narrowed his eyes at him as if he were crazy, then turned his attention back to Dante before gathering up his things. "Evening. On your way to the tube as well?" He asked, already knowing the answer. Better not have forgotten that meal you promised me, he thought. Cause I'm getting hungry! "See you tomorrow, Phil.""Yeah...Bye," his grin only widened. Jeremy rolled his eyes a bit. He really would have to start keeping more secrets from him. Alright, from this moment on, he wouldn't tell or give hints to Phil about anything pertaining the two of them. He knew enough. If he wanted to know more, he'd have to use his snooping skills to find out for himself. Jeremy walked out of the building with Dante, and once he felt they were far enough away from the office, he looked at him. "So what's the plan for this dinner of yours?" He asked with a smirk. Syaoran-Puu Haha, that's how I am, but I always worry about others crying

Dante did his best to ignore Phil, it was already more than enough that the guy seemed to look straight through him at times.... as if he knew exactly what made him tick. Talk about uncomfortable. He walked in silence towards the station, not feeling strange in the silence at all strangely enough..... it was interrupted when Jeremy finally spoke. "So what's the plan for this dinner of yours?" He smiled at that, tucking his hands into his coat pockets as he fidgeted a little. "I need to stop by the store if you want my chocolate cake." He didn't comment much more than that, knowing that if the guy knew too much about what went into his cake he would likely never touch it. That made him grin, like he had a dirty little secret.... of course, all that sin was what made it taste so delicious. "But don't worry... I haven't forgotten that I'm cooking, you're just going to have to shut up and wait I'm afraid." Looking over at the guy he couldn't help but teasingly add, "For a change... I'm the one in charge." He chuckled at that, "So, you're just going to have to deal with it... Mr. Control-freak." Thankfully the train wasn't late and the platform was pretty empty so they managed to get seats. "Anything you don't eat?" He asked, his mind still fumbling with what he could possibly make for the guy.... especially since he was far from lacking in the culinary department. It was something, though Dante probably wouldn't admit it out loud, that actually made him a little scared about serving up his food.... what had he been thinking to boast about his cake? Ah well, too late now. Leaning back in the seat he sighed with relief. "So glad today is over....longest Friday ever... and I am pretty sure it has only just clicked that it's the weekend tomorrow."Grins777 Wow.... my brain feels fried, sorry for the crappy reply.... *pouts*

"For a change... I'm the one in charge. So, you're just going to have to deal with it... Mr. Control-freak." Jeremy made a skeptical face. "Hmph. As if you'd be any different if you were my boss," he chuckled. "I might have to start working even harder just to be sure you never get promoted above me." He shivered. "Oohhh... you as a boss would be a nightmare. Gives me chills just imagining it," he teased. "Anything you don't eat?"Jeremy thought for a moment. "I don't eat things that are gross. So please don't make anything gross, yeah?" He smirked. When their stop came up, Jeremy got up with the other and followed him to his grocery store, wandering around a bit to pick up a few of his own groceries while the other picked up his. When they got back to Dante's place, Jeremy leaned on the counter. "I'm allowed to watch, aren't I?" He smiled. "That way if you do mess something up, I can save you," he teased with a chuckle. He stood up straight again. "Ah, but there's a reward for you if you do a good job," he said with a grin. "I'll stop making fun of your cooking," he promised.

"Oohhh... you as a boss would be a nightmare. Gives me chills just imagining it. "Hmmm...." He said, contemplating that for a moment, "I have no interest in being a 'boss' right now... so you're pretty safe. Though... if I did... I could totally kick your arse." He winked, not actually sure that that was correct at all. Despite his 'special training' as a child. "I don't eat things that are gross. So please don't make anything gross, yeah?" Dante chuckled a little at that, "Well, I will certainly try to make sure whatever I end up making is at least edible.... I wouldn't want you to end up all skin and bones from lack of nutrition." He winked, "Phil would never forgive me." It didn't take long for him to gather the few things he needed, though he ended up picking up a few ingredients that he possibly had in already; he just wanted to make sure that nothing was missed. After all, how embarrassing would it be to find out half way through he had missed something out. He was nervous enough as it was, he just hoped it didn't show.... or at least it settled down when he was actually in the kitchen. He liked being in the kitchen, probably part of the reason why he never moaned about cooking for him and Kyle. Dumping his stuff he started to set up in the kitchen, opening a draw he pulled out his apron before putting the thing on, he didn't want to change from his work clothes straight away... plus it was Friday, so it really didn't matter too much if he got a little dirty. "Don't ask." He smirked, before rolling up his sleeves. Once done he leaned on the counter opposite Jeremy and bopped him on the nose with his forefinger, not entirely sure why the urge had taken over him. "Sure, you can watch... just don't judge anything before you try it. Deal?" It was the cake he had in mind more than anything else, the amount of fattening things that went into the thing made it pretty much a walking heartache... but man... was it worth it. At least as far as Dante was concerned. "I'll stop making fun of your cooking," He chuckled at that, "That's all?" He quirked a brow teasingly as he contemplated the offer, "But I accept...." Dante was aware that he had never really told Jeremy just how nice his food was, often going with a blatant noncommittal answer.... why was that he wondered? After all, Dante rarely lied unless it was important to him, though he supposed he hadn't exactly lied.... Oven on. Measuring. Mixing. More measuring. A sprinkle of this, and a slash of that... The mixture didn't take long to come together, and unable to resist he dipped his finger in and tasted it just to make sure... yep... yummy. Dipping again he held it out to Jeremy, his eyes practically daring the guy to refuse. Greasing the cake tins he put the mixture in before placing it in the oven, the cake needed longer than everything else to cook so it was always best to put it in first. A quick wash of his hands and he was off to the fridge, wondering what wonderful concoctions he could throw together. Maybe he should have thought about this more at the store.... too late now. His eyes fell on the meat, gammon steaks.... he could work with them, and sure enough he had eggs and potatoes and peas to accompany the meat. Seasoning. Peeling. Slicing. Cooking. The aroma that filled the air was already making Dante's mouth water. Checking the cake, he took a moment to turn and look at Jeremy, well aware he had been purposefully ignoring the guy in order to think straight.... but boy, was the man a HUGE distraction, and being alone with him in a room with a locked door was almost too much to handle despite everything that had happened between them so far. "So.... our date tomorrow?" He drawled, leaning on his elbows as he looked over at the guy, "Did we actually decide what we wanted to do and timings? Or shall I grab my laptop after dinner to look up times or whatever?"

"Though... if I did... I could totally kick your arse.""Possibly," he chuckled, accepting that, though he wasn't sure how true that was. Jeremy laughed when he got a good look at the other's apron. He couldn't stop laughing for a little over a minute. He hadn't expected the other to have that sort of apron. In fact, it was probably the last thing he had expected. He hadn't seen graphics like that since he went to the boardwalk when he was a teenager. "Don't ask."Jeremy tried to stifle his laugh a bit. "I don't think I want to know."He quietly watched the other. He definitely seemed focused on the cake. Man, a lot went into that thing. What were the chances of dying from a heart attack after one slice? When the other held his finger out to him, he smirked a bit, and paused, wondering if he really should. But after seeing the challenge in the other's eyes, he leaned forward and of course licked the chocolate off the other's finger in a way similar to how he had licked Dante's you-know-what in the office. After that little exchange, Jeremy was essentially ignored. He definitely noticed the other avoiding looking anywhere near his direction. It wasn't so much that he minded that he could understand why he was doing so, to an extent. Still, he wanted to mess with the other. So he took off his shirt so that when the guy finally noticed, he would at least be a little surprised. But Dante was doing a good job at keeping him in his blind spot, which made Jeremy smirk since he was just sitting here shirtless as if it were the most casual thing there was. He rested his chin on the counter, so essentially all that could be seen was his face, rather than his bare torso when the other looked back at him. The aroma of the food and cake was plaguing his stomach. He was worried he'd embarrass himself and start eating like a dog with how hungry he felt. "So.... our date tomorrow? Did we actually decide what we wanted to do and timings? Or shall I grab my laptop after dinner to look up times or whatever?"Jeremy sat up straight, exposing his naked torso. "I suppose it depends on what kind of date we wanted. Something more casual, or a little fancier?" He talked normally. "Actually, I know a pretty nice restaurant that's not too far away. Secluded but social. Pretty good place for the likes of us, I think." He pulled out his phone and started scanning through his contacts. "Are you a fan of Italian food? I can call and make a reservation for...six?" He asked. He purposefully stretched in a way that was just natural enough to pass as normal, but just posed enough to show off how fit he was.

Dante groaned a little at the way Jeremy licked his finger... and had to turn away before he made a fool of himself. He could control himself... he could.... really... ok, so that was a bloody lie but at least he had a none sexy task to occupy his mind. As Jeremy revealed that he was half naked Dante felt his cheeks burn red. When... How... What??! The worst part was that he hadn't even noticed that the guy removing his shirt. Ignoring the guys obvious nonchalant attitude as he spoke about their date like nothing was out of the ordinary he held up his hand and stuttered a little, "No.... wait... rewind... when the hell did you remove your shirt? Or better question... why?" God, this mans chest was a total distraction and had claimed his full attention. It was worst still that he was obviously flaunting it, he probably predicted his reaction. Yep, he was utterly flustered. Still, he found himself wandering around the counter and approaching Jeremy. Making no effort to hide his approach, he couldn't resist placing his hand on that lusciously revealed chest. "Trying to distract me... so not fair...." Still red, he pushed through his shock and moved in to claim Jeremy's lips with his own. He lingered there for a moment before pulling back and wandering back towards the kitchen, trying to act as unaffected as possible despite everything. The food was nearly ready, and a quick check of the cake revealed had finished cooking, taking it out he removed it from the tins and placed it on the cooling rack. All that was left was making the chocolate buttercream. It didn't take long to plate up the rest, while the fried eggs cooked to go on top of the meat. He wandered towards the table, "Could you grab the cutlery? Top draw.... oh... and maybe put your shirt back on." He grinned, "Don't want to be distracted from my food." Sitting down he realised he hadn't got them drinks so stood back up and wandered to get them. "Drink?" He offered, pouring himself a glass of orange juice. Feeling much calmer now he finally replied to Jeremy's earlier questions. "Italian is fine. Six is good. I don't really mind what we do."

"No.... wait... rewind... when the hell did you remove your shirt? Or better question... why?"Jeremy acted as if he had no idea what he was talking about, giving a look of interest and confusion before looking down at his torso. "Oh my...that's not my cotton white button-up. How did that happen?" He acted oblivious for a moment then smiled. "Trying to distract me... so not fair....""Oh, is this distracting?" He tilted his head. "I'd say ignoring is much more unfair, anyway" he smirked at him. "Your focus in impeccable."He had no problem with kissing the other back when he came at him, and his smile remained as Dante parted again and immediately went back to the kitchen to finish up. He just loved teasing this guy. He couldn't get enough of it, really. "Could you grab the cutlery? Top draw.... "He got up and followed those instructions, only hearing the second half of his statement after getting the cutlery and heading over to hand it to the other. "oh... and maybe put your shirt back on. Don't want to be distracted from my food." He came up behind the other and set the materials before him, his body grazing against the other's back a little by 'accident'. "Aw, but I'm so comfortable," he pouted before heading towards the table. He put his arms though his sleeves, but left the shirt itself unbuttoned so he was still exposed enough. "Drink?""Water would be nice, if you'd be so kind.""Italian is fine. Six is good. I don't really mind what we do."With that permission, he called the restaurant and made the reservation, nodding his thanks when his drink was brought to him. He hung up his phone. "It's confirmed. Should we meet at the restaurant, or try to meet up somewhere else a bit beforehand?" He put his phone in his pocket. "Are we going to make it a legitimate goal to not sleep with each other this time?" He chuckled teasingly.

"I'd say ignoring is much more unfair, anyway. Your focus in impeccable." He couldn't help but feel guilty at that, ok so he had intentionally meant to ignore Jeremy so he could focus, but still he didn't like the idea of the guy actually feeling ignored.... even if that didn't make any sense. "Sorry.... eh... guess I will take the focus part as a compliment though. Just get stuck in when I start something..." He blushed AGAIN, bloody hell... at this rate there would be no blood left for the rest of his body. "Aw, but I'm so comfortable," "I bet..." He muttered, finding himself fully aware of every point Jeremy touched him. It was so unfair that the guy had this sort of effect on him.... it was so far out of his experience range that he knew he was stumbling around blind. He would just have to work harder to make him squirm in return.... but what in the world did you do as payback to a guy who seemed to constantly dominate? Bringing the drinks over after acknowledging Jeremy's request he placed them on the table and sat down, only then noticing that the guy had only half completed his request... yet, Dante couldn't say he didn't approve of the flesh that was revealed. He couldn't help but smirk, knowing all too well he was being played with... again. There were definitely a few trends appearing between them already. Turning his attention to his food he did his best to ignore Jeremy's attempt to rattle him.... though it was likely not working. "Are we going to make it a legitimate goal to not sleep with each other this time?""Hell no!" He protested, knowing all too well who had been the one to break first last time, a repeat he did not fancy. Plus... what was the point now? Of course it took Dante a moment to realise that Jeremy was probably not being serious. Taking a sip from his drink he used it as a tool to keep his mouth shut... as least until a different train of thought took root. "A regular then?" He found himself asking, wondering how many people kept restaurant numbers stored in their phones. How many guys had Jeremy taken to the joint? And why... did he feel unbelievable jealous at that? "Well, I have to go into town this weekend to get some new suits and plain shirts. So its up to you really, though I predict it will be pretty boring watching me shop... plus I would have to come back here anyway to get changed." It was then a thought occurred to him, "How 'posh' is this restaurant any way?" Would it be a suit job, casual wear... it all made a difference, and Dante didn't want to make a fool of himself. Taking a bite of his food he paused for a moment to chew and swallow before asking, "Is there anything you need to do tomorrow?" Part of him had wanted to add 'I'm pretty easy' but he was pretty sure he had used that line once or twice already with this guy and so bit his lip. Dante raised his eyes from the food and to Jeremy, catching sight of the guys chest on the way up. Fantastic, just when he had pretty much forgotten it.... well, a little bit at least. He didn't ask or comment but he couldn't help but wonder what the guy thought about the food.... though he was pretty sure the guy was going to play with him some more, at least if his other actions this evening were anything to go by. Grins777 EDIT: I added a little bit in the middle, replying to your '"Are we going to make it a legitimate goal to not sleep with each other this time?"' question. =D Jasper woke up and I realised I hadn't commented on it XD hehehe.

Jeremy hadn't really felt ignored, or at the very least it didn't hurt his feelings. In fact, he had pulled a factor of entertainment from it, since he knew why the other had been avoiding looking at him. It was even funnier after he had taken off his shirt, since he managed to avoid noticing even then. Clearly the other had been determined to hold himself back, or stay focused, or something of the like. "Hell no!" Jeremy had indeed been joking, but the other's outburst made him chuckle a bit. Was that supposed to mean that he planned on having sex? Should he take it as a compliment? That he was good in bed? It only tempted him to further the taunting. He let the silence linger for a bit as the other sipped from his drink in a form of embarrassment, and Jeremy took the first few bites of his food...enjoying it very much. "A regular then?" "It's a favorite of Phil's and mine. He held his engagement announcement party there, and had me plan the thing, so now I just keep it in my phone. Plus a lot of the other restaurants I have in here make for good business meetings," he explained. "How 'posh' is this restaurant any way?" "Oh, it's pretty casual," he told him. "It's got nice scenery, but they don't care how you dress. Jeans should be fine. Just be sure to wear shoes and a shirt too," he smirked. "Is there anything you need to do tomorrow?"Jeremy of course focused on the do part of that sentence. "You, maybe," he told him before taking another bite of his food. He did have a couple errands to run, but he decided to dodge that question and replace his answer with a joke to get a reaction out of the other. He sat up straight again when he was full. "Alright, so I can't make fun of your cooking anymore," he admitted, wiping his lips. "Then again, hunger is the best seasoning, so my judgement could be off," he added as a sort of revenge for the other, since Dante never admitted he liked his cooking either. He supposed the infamous cake was the final level. But before that, he decided to jump back into the conversation a bit. "So we are having sex tomorrow, then?" He smirked. "Since you seemed so enthusiastic earlier," he smiled, referring to Dante's hell no.

Ok, so why was it that he hadn't even contemplated the whole business side of things? He knew better than most about the importance of wooing your clients at times... had done it a thousand times in the past... seriously something was wrong with him. "Sounds good." He said with a smile, trying to cover up his expression. At least it wasn't too posh, he could live with shoes and a shirt. "You, maybe," Dante couldn't help but gawp at the guy for a moment after he said that.... had seriously just said that out loud? Wait, of course he had. He shouldn't really have been surprised by it, the guy had always been forward.... it was actually one of the things Dante liked about the guy. Almost as if he didn't bother hiding his agenda, and boy, was that a refreshing change from what Dante was used to. Most of his life had gone completely differently to that, the main reason why he didn't want people to know who his Father was.... not because he was ashamed of the guy, far from it in truth, but simply because he didn't want everyone to change... and they usually always did. Though, he had to admit he was impressed that Jeremy hadn't, and for a moment he wondered if his little 'secret' had been shared with Phil.... especially since the guy seemed to be in the know about everything else they got up to. LIterally. "Alright, so I can't make fun of your cooking anymore. Then again, hunger is the best seasoning, so my judgement could be off," He found himself chuckling a little at that, almost hearing the echo of his own 'compliments' with each word. Still, a compliment was a compliment and he would take it, even if he was nervous about the cake.... after all, that had been the thing he had dared to brag about. Yet as he ate his dinner and watched Jeremy do the same he had to admit he was starting to feel more confident about it. "Good good." He said, smiling a little. The confidence didn't last however, the moment Jeremy 'attacked' him with his question about have sex and being enthusiastic he knew all too well he was in trouble. How the hell did he back out of this one? He was in a corner, and had no claws to bare. "Eh...." He ran his hand up his face, pausing over his eyes as he tried to hide for a moment. Gone was his teasing bravo, blank went his mind.... and hidden was his previous confidence. It took a moment for Dante to realise that he probably should let it get to him, after all they had had sex more than once... in more than one place... in fact, they had yet to repeat it in a single location! Messing up his hair as he looked down at his food, his eyes simply unable to engage with Jeremy's right now... or that bloody naked chest of his.... he had sooooooo done this on purpose! "Enthusiastic.... Indifference...." He started, "Not all that different." Ok, so even Dante knew he couldn't really get away with the 'indifference' remark, after all he had practically jumped out of his s**t when he had protested with a 'hell no'... even if it had been for a slightly different reason to wanting to guarantee the act. "I... eh.... it was more a conviction not to restrict...." Were these words really spilling out of his mouth? Had hell frozen over without him knowing or something? "....if we can or not." He decided to try and add a little joke, but as soon as the words had left his lips he felt incredibly stupid about speaking at all. "After all, I was the one that caved first last time... and who would have ever expected that one!" He cut up his meat, trying his best to seem unaffected despite the fact that he clearly was. Jeremy just seemed to have a skill at pressing his buttons.... both good and bad. Finishing up his meal, Dante practically dashed back to the kitchen with his plate.... feeling almost as if he had a shield with the addition of the kitchen counters between them. Grabbing another bowl he started to mix up the buttercream, prepared the first layer of the cake... covered. Placed the second on top.... repeat. There was still some mixture remaining so he spooned it into a piping bag, adding a 'star' nozzle before making little flowered stars all the way around the edging.... it was a good way not to waste the stuff... plus it made the cake look 'nicer', if he didn't say so himself. Knife, two plates, and two forks later, he put the thing down on the table in front of Jeremy. "Ta Da...." He found himself saying as he tried to hide his nerves. "I will let you have the honours of cutting it."

"Enthusiastic.... Indifference....Not all that different. I... eh.... it was more a conviction not to restrict....After all, I was the one that caved first last time... and who would have ever expected that one!" Jeremy listened to all of this, taking the final bites of his food, only glancing up a couple times to nod. He could mostly understand what the other was saying. However, he could easily shoot all of his arguments down with one phrase. "Hmmm..." he began, lowering his eyes to his fork before it reached his mouth. "So does that explain why your face turns to a strawberry every time sex is even hinted at?" He slowly looked up at him then and then smirked. "Do I effect you that much?" He teased. When the cake was brought out, he had to stand up to get a good look at it. It had designs on it everything. Jeremy briefly wondered if the other had managed to pickup a store-bought cake and simply put it on one of his plates to take the credit. But Jeremy would have noticed him carrying that, and this cake was clearly still a little warm. "Hm. Impressive," he nodded after looking at it for a few moments. "I will let you have the honours of cutting it."Jeremy smiled a little and picked up the knife. It was almost a shame to cut something that had taken so much time and work. Let them eat cake was the only thing that came to mind. He slowly cut the cake, and it seemed to go through like butter. The aroma of chocolate filled the air. How big should he make these slices? He ended up cutting slightly smaller than medium slices and put the slices on their plates, the gooey frosting painting its way across his fingers and their plates. He decided to lick the frosting off of his own fingers. He would have offered it to Dante, but unfortunately Dante had beat him to the punch so he couldn't simply do the same thing in the same night. A bit of the frosting dripped onto his bare chest--he was very thankful he had left it unbuttoned. He wiped it up with one of his fingers and ate the drop. The frosting might as well have been a melted chocolate bar it was so good. He sat down and took a bite of the cake. Oh yes. He could definitely see why this would bring people to their knees. He couldn't deny that. Still, he couldn't compliment him too much. Not until the other admitted he enjoyed his cooking first. "This cake is just a couple levels down from sex," he told him. That counted as a vague enough compliment, right? He noticed some frosting on the corner of Dante's lips. "You've got a little..." So of course he had to lean across the table to lick it off. He sat back down and licked his own lips. "Never mind. I got it," he smirked, as if the other needed to be told.
