 Whatever had caused that fear surge, it HURT. That had taken out a good chunk of his energy right then and there. And it even kind of stunned the trainee to an extent. Groaning, he slowly shook his head before looking around. It seemed it wasn't just him who had been hit. Maybe he should stand somewhere else. And thus, he went on and moved. ((Edit: I was made aware that I should not have attacked this round/needed to void this attack. So this post should not count as I have yet to post a post just for the tile change? Or at least, stick to the side of whoever was attacking him. FEAR or the barrier or something surged and he felt his health draining but he had to keep fighting. Nyyrikki freaked as both Danny and Roch fell to the ground. He cried out for both of them, but before he could actually run to their aid he was overwhelmed but the old, powerful fear that covered this room. (Switching to Tile 30) The sudden loud crackle change in the FEAR of the room knocked Imryn for a loop and left her gasping for breath while trying to head towards the edge of the room. She didn't have much energy left and wasn't sure what good she'd be in trying to go after anyone else. Maybe she'd give it another try in a minute or two... because damn, whatever had just happened seemed to zap some of the little strength she had left. WOah... woah... woooah... Otto wobbled in place, holding his head with a free hand. He wasn't feeling so good. Luckily the two monster's attacks had missed but... His attention briefly flickered to Eva. He didn't have any bandages to heal with. What to do? Keep fighting? If he did, that would make him a hypocrite since he once scolded Molly for trying to fight while hurt. Still... The hunter wobbled backward to another tile for now. Jude felt the tackle and stumbled back a bit from the impact as much as he would have loved to send the blade right into their face - repeatedly he turned his attention - instead - to the Bug. So much annoyance and so little time it was time to make Bug go squish now - or at least try to.
Thus seeing his target nearby he lunged forward punching the blade forward toward the midsection. Then ended up freezing mid swing. The FEAR eventually ebbed away and Danny could feel the motion coming back into her body. Not quickly enough though. The hunter had already wandered off, seeking refuge within the crowd.
Danny gave chase though. She caught up with him and grabbed his arm (perhaps a bit too tightly and a bit too much claw) and said, "Why?! Stop it! Can't you see you're hurting him?!" She was referring, of course, to her paralyzed best friend. Not to mention she had no grounds to argue when she was pretty much puncturing the dude's arm with her claws.
Rikki suddenly seized up, and Danny was over the edge. In any case, Deryk figured that now might be a good time to try and knock the heir away. Maybe she'd go bother someone else then? Moving his hand to the side, he went ahead and unleashed Tooley. The ghost found it unusual how much power behind the tackle. He looked down at his feet and at his hands, then turned to his shoulder. He was definitely amazed. The grin on his face was a little wider and his glow a little brighter. Then there was a pull. He looked up at the hunter, wondering if he had anything to do with it, and looked back down at his hands. El Greco growled and clenched his hands into fists, but felt helpless. His body was immobilized. Surprisingly, he found that the hunter was immobilized as well. ((Moving to 1))  Suddenly it was as if the room was trying to drain her FEAR, just like the other room had. Mitzi's breath caught, and she felt much weaker, for a moment struggling even to keep her feat. But then it passed, and from the look of the others, they - both Halloweener and Hunter - had felt the same thing. The fight had finally calmed enough that she could run forward, toward the Hunter who had been attacking Alex. She readied her spear to attack, but just as she reached the tile in front of his, she felt a wave of that nauseating FEAR again. She stumbled, falling to her knees, trying not to let it overtake her again. She was hurt.
She was hurt and he was not there to help her.
His mind seemed on autopilot. Gale, not even feeling the pain of the sting from the creature, ran across the tiles, his heart slamming against his chest, so loud he thought everyone could have heard it. He could feel the panic rising in his throat, feel the thundering of his footsteps.
Why do I do this to myself?
Gale could not have felt as young as he was if he were staring in a mirror. For the first time in a long time he felt like nothing more than a child - a helpless, uncertain, pathetic child.
He dropped to his knees beside her, already grappling under his coat for the bandages he knew were there.
"Eva," he said, and reached out his hand, touching her cheek with his bloodied fingers. "Eva, I'm here, don't worry - "
He fumbled with the bandages, wrapping them around whatever part he could find that was bleeding, tying them tightly even with his fingers trembling as much as they were.
She was hurt.
"Eva," said Gale, his voice hoarse. "Remember, you promised me.
"You can't go anywhere."

Imryn took another look around the room, trying to keep an eye on Mitzi and the others to see how they were doing. Somehow, whatever happened in the room a few moments ago had restored strength to some of them... unfortunately most of them seemed to be Hunters. Not all... but enough that it made her feel a bit more defeated about the whole situation. Off to the one side though she spotted a one that seemed to be feeling just as beat up as she was. Pushing herself up and taking flight again, Imryn darted over towards him, though about mid lunge her body began to cramp from the previous damage and she ended up falling to the floor.
