After securing the dagger to his belt, Robert snagged a communications device and moved away from the pile of supplies. That is the end of this awesome summary of his actions.

And he did it, earning another laugh. Trust Dakota to go there. "You can feel the other sector when we lose a bet, because like hell you're going near that part of my anatomy." The hug was comforting, and yet he wasn't able to return it, body just sort of semi-frozen as he was embraced. He didn't want to be forgotten? Marcus doubted he could do that of all things. Dakota was simply Dakota, nearly a force of nature. Plus that mission- The memory was stamped out. he didn't need a reminder about her. pushed away he wasn't sure what to say until- "Dakota-" he called out, "Thanks and... consider it a promise." That was it. What else could be said? Good luck? Don't die? Unspoken, they were fears they didn't want to voice but did anyway. Hunters were not supposed to be afraid. In his talking with Dakota he realized Ami had been somewhat stuck in the middle and he gave her a small apologetic smile. Harrison came to the rescue and Marcus relaxed. He'd not used the pendants much so, given the other moon trainee's explanation, was a bit better than what would have been Marcus's 'They teleport you to a safe location'. The ******** if Marcus knew how it worked. Still- "If you need a pen I think you can probably grab one off of a table somewhere. But, you okay with your other gear though?" It was a simple question, but better safe than sorry right? The question posed to Harrison however- "By the way. Harrsion, did something happen in the Artic I missed? Because-" a look over to where the Candace and Rep spat had taken place, "s**t seemed fine before we got here."

Harrison didn't really know how to spell it any way.
He took his pendant off, and put it down. Hopefully it wouldn't...activate...or anything. He nudged it over a little more with his foot.
"Okay. I'm gonna whisper it."
He leaned over to Ami's ear and told her quietly, "Deus ex Machina." He leaned away. "...Got it?"

He noticed the brighter expression on Feng’s face. It made Wilson smile even more. “Regardless, I’m glad you managed to make it back alive. That’s the important part, right?” Wilson watched the other trainee turn toward Dakota’s direction. He laughed uneasily and placed a hand on Feng’s shoulder. “Don’t bother with what Dakota says—uhhh I mean you should always listen to others but Dakota is just being Dakota.” Wilson hadn’t even heard of Dakota mentioning threeway to Rep, but perhaps that was for the better. Wilson nodded at the items Feng listed. “Nice. I got a charge packet and a barrier dagger.” He shrugged. “You should learn how to use that communication device, then. Cellphones don’t work here, apparently.”
Wilson decided to look around and noticed Ami looking in his direction. He decided to smile brightly and wave.

"Ehehehe." Red eyes slid to Jordan, winking at him knowingly. His smirk was twice as smarmy as her own. "See, someone agrees with me," the redhead announced with mock innocence, her eyes wide. "And are you going to tell Jordan he's wrong?"
Her mind flashed to the picture she had stashed away on her phone, of contentedness found in the darkness, the trio of boys resting together. Rep had been the big spoon to Jordan, after all.

"Would anyone like to trade for this... um... fear charge packet?" Syd asked, stepping into the group and pulling out the strange item. To be honest, she would really like to have bandages... She knew how to use the bandages.

He saw her sitting down, beneath a tree, her eyes closed. Gale made his way quietly towards her, and without saying a single word, sat down beside her, took her hand, and held it gently.
Then he closed his eyes as well, as though he were not doing anything out of the ordinary, and waited for further instructions from Caelius.

Rep one minute was at total ease with Clerise, eyeing her with amicable warmth. And then she mentioned Jordan in that wink-is-as-good-as-a-nudge way. His expression dropped straight away into deer in the headlights, taking a few moments to actually line up his brain cells, it took a bit. He glanced to Jordan fleetingly in a very help me please sort of way.
"Ihavenoideawhatyoumean. LaterClerise."
And seizing onto the nearest person he turned to Syd. "YES. YES I'D LIKE TO TRADE YOU."
He held out the bandages. "THESE."

Syd smiled--no, she actually grinned and grabbed the bandages quickly, handing him the fear charge packet without a second of hesitation. "Thank you," she said. "I appreciate it." She shoved the bandages into her pack along with the Fear Scanner. "I'm also glad to see you're no longer a penguin," she added.

Oh god. Ami stop looking over here. Would it be awkward to hide behind Wilson? Probably. So instead he just stood where he was and stuck his hands in his pockets, trying really hard not to make eye contact. "I didn't even think to check my cellphone," He gave a bewildered pat of his pockets and pulled it out, only to find that it wasn't working, as the other had said. "Huh. Guess I do need to learn how to use it. Any ideas?" He held it out for the other hunter with a hopeful look.
When Wilson waved Feng just ducked his head and pretended he was a turtle. If he went in his shell she couldn't see him. Yep.

Jordan's eyebrows arched. Did Clerise know something? And if she did, how?
He was no help whatsoever when Rep glanced at him, though; instead, he caught the other man's eye and just smiled at him, a silent reminder.

Geeze. Button much! She frowned just a little, as it had not been her intent to make Rep turn into the epitome of uncool with just a wink.
Then again, her finger sword-fighting had turned him into a tomato. Possibly two tomatoes. She followed his line of sight, and as he decided to be a giant idjat, Clerise trotted over to Jordan, a wicked look in her eyes.
"Sorry," she said, not appearing sorry at all. She fished around in her pocket for her phone-- no service, but her saved photos still worked. Jordan may have seen a flash of her own screen's background, of her and Clarice in the snow, before the picture of them sleeping came up.
"I talked him out of a crisis right before that. I figured, you know. Things were fixed." A bright smile, and then a waggling of eyebrows as she leaned in to murmur: "Way to go, Professor."

Candace was fine on her own, really. She just needed to stop shaking. A hand suddenly grasped hers and she lifted her head, opening her eyes to see Gale sitting beside her. Normally she would hug him but it was too hot and humid for such things. She felt gross and sweaty and did not want to be clinging to anyone. But hand holding would do just fine. Candace smiled and quietly leaned over enough to rest her head against Gale's. She squeezed his hand once and then closed her eyes again.

Rep managed to get some semblance of sanity together and gave Syd a nod. "Aye, nae bother. And yeah. Its ******** good not to be a penguin have to say. Penguin in a jungle'd be ******** /marginally/ shittier than being a person."
He tucked the charge away. This would come in handy. Yes the mission was important, thinking about the mission was very important.
"Anyway, ta." he gave her a nod, back in control of his calm.

"Oh look, my nipples can't cut steel anymore."
Leon was ever so insightful. He really should put on some clothes now.
