Silver's eyes fluttered open briefly. She was in Emily's car, in the backseat. She could tell by the rumble of the old Pontiac engine and the black leather on which she lay. She began to raise her head to look out the window, but now that her shoulder had been allowed to set, it sent fire through the damaged tissue and caused her to fall back, gasping. She gritted her teeth and in one fluid motion swung herself upright, grunting. The effort sent her head spinning and she swore, which caught Emily's attention and let her know she was awake.

"Sorry...there's something off with my shoulder, and my wings are just too torn up for me to get rid of them. Sorry, too, if it looks like I played the hero or something back there," she said. "Just seemed like the time to act. You're going the right way, though. Just up here a little ways is where I crash-landed."

She slumped back against the seat, but, wincing, decided to keep herself off her wings. Instead, she leaned forward, resting her forhead against the seat in front of her and letting her eyes flicker closed again.

After driving for a while longer, Silver sat up again. "Ew..." she wrinkled her nose. "I can smell them, there's so many. Keep going, Emily. I'm trying to read one of the nearby male vamps... it's difficult, since they're not human, but they used to be, so I can get something from him, anyway..."

As she spoke, the pavement gave way to a dirt road that looked like it was being used way too much considering how far out in the middle of nowhere they were.

"There's a fork up ahead. Take a right............Anne's somewhere in the east side of the building......... They know we're coming, they're ready and they're planning on making us dinner."

Emily's jaw was set in a hard line. "Yeah, I know, Silver. I can sense them, too," she said quietly. She turned down the way Silver told her to go and kept driving. Emily felt like her insides had turned inside out and she grimaced a bit when a wave of pain swept over her. Vampires only sickened her, why was she in pain? Emily's thoughts turned back to Anne. Hang on, Anne. The calvary is coming....

Sam and Dean were a few car lengths behind Emily and Silver. They were following them because they had no idea where the vampires were. Dean had made sure that all of the weapons he used especially for vampires were throughly soaked in Dead Man's blood. Sam was staring out the window with a blank look on his face. It quickly turned to sadness as Sam thought of Jessica. His eyes flared as his emotions turned to anger and hatred toward the demon that had killed her. Sam breathed out heavily and looked at the onyx Firebird in front of them. He saw the back of Emily's head through the back windshield and her face in the rear-view mirror. Dean looked behind them and saw Elaine's blue Mustang. But he didn't see the tall blonde man walk out of the weeds on the side of the road.

Cameron van Gruet walked along the dirt road with his thumb stuck out. He didn't expect anyone to "help" him but he was going to hope for the best. He saw a blue Mustang speeding down the highway and waved with his other hand. Don't be stupid, Cameron. Make sure to bide your time and be polite. We have to find that disgrace of a woman you call a sister... said a malicious voice in his head. Cameron scowled slightly then put on the most dashing and attractive smile he could. His dirty blonde hair shone and glowed in the setting sun. He just hoped it worked.

Cameron smiled benignly and Mazerik said,"Actually, I only need some directions. Do you by any chance know where to find Teakriver Farm? I have a family reunion and my car broke down a while back. My sister lives at that farm and she might be able to help me," through his lips. Mazerik sensed something in this young woman and made sure Cameron did NOT get in the car with her, it would only slow his plans. Cameron continued to smile at the woman and then said,"Oh, sorry. I'm Cameron, by the way."

As Emily drove further along the dirt road, the sickening feeling increased. "Uhhhgg....Vampires....filthy creatures......" she muttered to no one in particular. Up ahead on the right stood a worn down, once-red barn. Emily quickly pulled into the bushes on the side of the road. She looked out her window at the Impala and signaled for them to do the same. Dean pulled in after her. Emily got out and grabbed a worn, dark leather jacket from her backseat and opened her trunk. She grabbed a rifle loaded with special bullets that were not only soaked and forged in dead man's blood, but had gunpowder laced with the dried equivalent. She also grabbed a long dagger that was soaking in the crimson liquid. "You boys ready? she said.

Elaine's eyes narrowed because she knew what was at that farm. "I could fix your car for you," she offered. Then in one swift movement she threw a knife basted in dead man's blood at him through the open window and into his body. Then she pressed down on the gas and drove off. "However I prefer that you walk," she muttered to herself. She assumed he was a vampire and that would take care of him for a while before she caught up.

Silver climbed out of Emily's car, wincing. "I dunno, guys... I don't want to sound chicken or anything, but if I go in there I might not come back out. Should I just stand out here and keep watch? I mean... I just can't fight much all shot up like this, I'll just be in your way. And...um... There's a guy coming down the road, on foot, with a knife in his side. Heading towards us... I think he's possessed. He's got blonde hair, he's really proud of his blonde hair, and his name is... Connor? Carter? Cameron? Something with a C... Familiar to anyone?"
